Here is the leaked-cum-released still from Akhil Akkineni’s second film. Akhil is seen kissing by Kalyani, daughter of Priyadarshan and Lissy, who is all set to make her on-screen debut with Akhil 2.0. Yet-to-be-titled, the film has Vikram Kumar, of Manam fame, wielding the megaphone.

Meanwhile, Nag and Akhil have raised curiosity by stating that something ‘bigger’ and ‘better’ coming on August 21st. This naturally gave rise to speculations surrounding the film’s title.

The names of ‘Hello Guru…Prema Kosame’, ‘Ekkada Ekkada Vundo Taraka’ and ‘Rangula Ratnam’ are under consideration for this romantic caper. It’s learnt that the film has more youth and college backdrop that is on the lines of Shiva albeit with Vikram’s touch.  Nagarjuna is said to be super confident on this film and hopes that the film will help Akhil to bounce back after his disaster debut Akhil.

In a couple of days, Konidela Productions is going to unveil the first motion poster of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 151st film. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film happens to be a semi-fictional account of India’s first and foremost freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

According to the grapevine, Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan has agreed to play a crucial role in the movie whose character lasts for only a short time. Upon Chiru’s request, Big B has given nod for this role though the makers are keeping it under the wraps. That’s where Nandamuri fans are getting a little upset.

Vijay Devarakonda’s upcoming film “Arjun Reddy” is all set to hit screens next week. The film has good buzz going for it, thanks to the interesting promos. The film’s director Sandeep Vanga, who claims Vijay to be the perfect choice to play the ‘temperamental’ protagonist in his film, has now divulged that he had approached another young hero before zeroing in on the ‘Pelli Choopulu’ hero.

During a recent interview, Sandeep Vanga disclosed that he first narrated the story to Sharwanand, who liked it very much. ‘He however couldn’t come on board due to various reasons. After meeting Vijay Devarakonda, I felt he was perfect for the protagonist of my film,’ he added.

Taking about how difficult it was to get a producer, Vanga divulged, “It is not easy for a debut director to find a producer, especially if you have a novel script in hand. After many producers closed door on my face, my brother kept trust in me and invested money on my brainchild.’

The director claimed that ‘Arjun Reddy’ is not just about anger management and it has varied range of emotions. The film is slated to hit screens on August 25

After the extended 5-day Independence Day weekend, the film has reportedly started running on deficits in several centers. Trade experts estimate 60-70% losses for all the exhibitors and distributors of LIE.

Telugu audience for the first time have been witnessing a reality show like Bigg Boss which is the first of its genre. Breaking all the barriers, Young Tiger NTR nailed it with his flawless hosting skills, which made the television show a memorable one for Star MAA.

The tv channel has been leading the list for the fourth consecutive week in TRPs ever since Bigg Boss started airing. NTR arrives on weekends and most of them watched the show during weekends as no named contestants have been in the house.

With the show getting terrific response, the organizers have been hunting for new ways, which can even bring up the TRPs. Superstar Mahesh Babu pinned all his hopes on his next film titled Spyder as his previous outing Brahmotsavam hasn’t satisfied his fans. AR Murugadoss directed this action thriller which is based on bio terrorism if the teaser and trailer are anything to goby. But now rumors are popping up that Namrata is unhappy with this film. Wonder why? Here goes it.

The big thing about this film is that Mahesh is all set to make a grand debut in Tamil with Spyder. It’s recently announced that the film will be releasing in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam version, and the same version will be released across North India too. Sources revealed that this left Mahesh’s fans in shock as they are eagerly waiting for their favorite actor to make his debut in Bollywood as well with this multi-crore film.

Director Murugadoss is said to be keen on remaking the film back in Bollywood while Mahesh’s wife Namrata feels that the film has universal appeal and will be a perfect launch pad for Mahesh. She is complete upset with the director that a film made in sci-fi genre would be great to say ‘hello’ to Bollywood. And cut to Murugadoss, he has remade films like Ghajini and Tupaki earlier in Bollywood, so he has similar plans even now. Some sources revealed that Mahesh is expected to take a call on the Hindi version soon keeping Namrata’s inputs in mind, while few sources trashed these talks as baseless rumors.

“Never there was a plan to take Spyder to Hindi. They always focused on Telugu and Tamil versions only. Even Mahesh and Namrata didn’t have anything like a Bollywood debut on the mind”, a source close to Spyder camp said.

NV Prasad and Tagore Madhu are bankrolling Spyder which has been slated for September 27th release.
