Young actor Sundeep Kishan has done promising roles however none of his recent movies tasted commercial success. His recent outing Nakshatram has been declared as a debacle however his performance has been getting standing ovation from the audience all over. The latest update says that Sundeep Kishan is all set to team up with veteran director Gautham Menon.

Sundeep Kishan is already shooting for Nagasooran which is helmed by Karthick Naren and is produced by Gautham Menon. The veteran director is said to have been impressed with Sundeep Kishan’s acting skills and his choice of script selection. The duo is said to soon team up for a bilingual which will start rolling soon.

Sundeep Kishan wrapped up the shoot of C/O Surya in the direction of Suseenthiran and is busy shooting for a Bollywood film in the direction of Kunal Kohli along with Tamannaah.

“Bhaadakaav balisindera.. Bokkalu Iraggodata” is one popular dialogue of Sai Pallavi as she’s introduced as Bhanumati to us in Fidaa. It translates to, “I will break your bones you fool”. And some say Bhaadkaav is a pure cuss word which should not be used in films. Though many don’t know the meaning of it, some say it’s just a natural slang word without any meaning. So what’s that word anyway?

Those who hail from Andhra region might feel that Bhaadkaav has no literal meaning o it means just ‘a fool’. For people coming from Telangana backdrop, this word is a shocker if they know their old roots. There isn’t a proper definition of this word though many say it’s a bad word if we check with old folk of Hyderabad who speak the Deccani language and those Marathi settlers in Deccan region, this is sure a bad word.

Bhaad means ‘rent’ in a slang like usage. Bhaadkhaav is one who insists on the income derived from rent. This is something like a polished explanation. In Urdu and also in Marathi, Bhaadkhaav is an explicit term which means that one is living off the income of prostitutes. Money collected by girls who sell their body is called Bhaad and that explains what that word means.

Without getting into all such things, one wonders how come to Dil Raju who hails from Telangana and also from the place where there are prominent Maratha crowds, (Bodhan in Nizamabad) agreed to use such an explicit term for the film. Also, Sekhar Kammula might not have done the research on these cuss words before actually using it for the leading lady. If Kammula and Raju don’t know about the word, we can’t expect a Tamilian like Sai Pallavi to know it.

Teja is one uncompromising director who strive to extract quality output from actors and he will go to great lengths to achieve it. The maverick filmmaker even slapped his actors to yield the result he wanted.

Young actors like Uday Kiran, Nithin and others who worked with director Teja at start of their career, took a slap on their face. Beating has later become a routine in all of his films.

‘Rana is an intellectual artist who can get into the skin of any character effortlessly. He proved it in Baahubali as well. For Nene Raju Nene Manthri, he lived the role of Jogendra on shooting sets as well. When I narrate a scene to Rana, he goes back home and comes up with the right attitude and behavior the role needed in scene,’ said Teja by leaving to us that Rana didn’t give him a chance to follow his usual norm of slapping. Also, given the fact that film was bankrolled by Rana’s father Suresh Babu, Teja wouldn’t dare to slap the actor.

Also featuring Kajal Aggarwal, NNRM is slated for release on 11th of August. Both director Teja and producer Suresh Babu are pretty confident about the success of this political thriller despite two other releases on the same day.

Young actor Nithiin is a huge fan of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and he revealed about this several times during several events. The actor is all set for his next movie Lie and Nithiin like every film, he has been spotted his love towards his favorite actor. Spotted in a railway coolie look, Nithiin tried to remind about Pawan Kalyan’s super hit song from the film Thammudu.

Nithiin shared about his bond with Pawan Kalyan. He said “Whenever I meet Pawan Kalyan, I just sit listening to him. I don’t talk much. He sometimes talks about my looks in my movies. I prefer to remind about him through my films. Lie has one song in which I play a railway coolie which reprises Thammudu. I am quite delighted that I am working for my next under the production of Pawan Kalyan. The film is a love story and is directed by Krishna Chaitanya“.

Hanu Raghavapudi directed Lie and Megha Akash played the female leads. Produced by 14 Reels Entertainments, Lie has been announced for August 11th release. Manisharma composed the tunes for Lie.

Boyapati Sreenu’s coming release Jaya Janaki Nayaka has been carrying good buzz. The trade circles are especially betting big on the film and hence eagerly looking forward to the film’s release. Considering that this is Boyapati’s immediate film after his blockbuster Sarrainodu, the film has been sold for higher prices and naturally, huge monies are at stake.

Apart from Boyapati and film’s protagonist Bellamkonda Srinivas, the film stars stellar cast including Rakul Preet, Pragya Jaiswal, Catherine Tresa (special appearance), Jagapathi Babu, Sarath Kumar, Vani Viswanath and et al.

Devi Sri Prasad’s music and background score are said to be another major advantage for the film. Already, the audio album has garnered good response raising the expectations bar of the film. Since there are two other releases along with JJN, this has intensified the curiosity surrounding JJN.

So far the teasers and trailer have been received well and it needs to be seen how the film opens in cinemas on August 11.

Director Teja’s previous films might have been commercially failure at the Box Office. Yet as a filmmaker he earned some cult following as well as respect in the industry. Apparently a few producers have approached Teja recently with ‘suitcases’ i.e advance amounts after the release of Nene Raju Nene Mantri trailer.

Since the trailer is good and film is Rana’s immediate film after Baahubali 2 and happens to be first production of Suresh Babu with his son, it is expected to be decent.

So, producers said to have queued with ‘advance amounts’ to book Teja for their next. As usual, Teja said to have denied to take the advances and decided to not to commit any film until the release of his present film Nene Raju Nene Mantri.

Teja is said to be super confident on the result of Nene Raju Nene Mantri. And industry insiders are gossiping that the director turned down the offers only expecting more once the film is successful. As the film is all set to release this week, let us wait and see whether Teja got it right or wrong.

Romancing Top Heroines

I’m a young hero with no fan base. Certainly, I need top heroines to reach to as many as people. Yes, I need top heroines. What is wrong in it?

Also by acting alongside with them ( who have done many films and have good experience), I could improve my acting. I could improve my performance and learn a lot of things. This is really good thing. It is always best to be surrounded by talented artists. They always challenge you and we need to give our best on par with them. Acting with Rakul in Jaya Janaki Nayaka is also one such experience. She has made me better my skill. Not just heroines, acting with Jagapathi Babu garu, Sarath sir, Vani madam is best experience. And above all, audience enjoy when they see great cast on screen.

On Boyapati Sreenu

Boyapati garu is the best thing happened to me. On sets, I was never treated as a young hero. I’ve been treated very well. Even co-actors treated me as ‘Star’ because am ‘Boyapati’s Hero’ – a ‘larger than life’ role. That gave me an extra confidence which is really needed on sets to do powerful role.

After pack-up, am usual again. I’m normal. But I have to be so confident to carry off the role. My confidence has increased after doing this film. Now, I could say, I am ready to act with any director.

Burden of High-Budget?

Not exactly. We are very confident on film’s content. Also, my debut film was made with bigger budget and extravaganza. So, I got used to it. Audience welcome a film that treats them with good story, visuals, grandeur. So, there is no sense of burden on me that the film’s budget is high.

Also, I should thank producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy garu who believed in me totally and invested so much. And it is all visible on screen. For viewers, JJN is going to be a visual feast.

Father’s Support

My father (Bellamkonda Suresh) has taken my dream as his own dream. Very rare. He is very very encouraging, supportive. Since childhood, he used to give a lot of importance to my decisions. I’ve been his editing friend. He took my suggestions for many of his productions. Our bond is very great. We are more like friends. In fact, my friends are always envy of my father’s affection to me. My whole family has been very supportive. My mother, younger brother and of course my dad all are excited about the film.

I want to make him happy by proving myself. I want to tell him that I’ll be happy if he is happy. I hope Jaya Janaki Nayaka success is going to make him so happy.

The teaser of Mahesh Babu’s long-delayed Spyder has been unveiled on the eve of his birthday. Mahesh looked stylish and suave as a Spy.

However, the teaser has AR Murugudoss-trademark shots and scenes indicating that Mahesh will be seen in a larger-than-life. ARM seems to have banked more on human emotions which is his strength.

Mahesh’s one-liners are as usually well-delivered. “Bhayapettadam Maku Telusu”…this is expected to be the catchy-liner for fans.

SJ Surya’s face has been hidden but it is evident that Surya is the main villain in this action thriller. The teaser is slick and promising. Harris Jayaraj’s background score is appealing. And there is nice chemistry between the lead pair Mahesh and Rakul hinting that it will be a nice package.
