Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Fidaa’ is replicating the outstanding endurance displayed by ‘Baahubali 2’ at worldwide box office. The romantic drama collected a huge Rs 60+ crore in two weeks, and is refusing to slow down despite the new releases hitting screens every passing week.

As per reliable trade reports, Fidaa collected a share of 11.05 crore in the 2nd week. This is the 3rd highest 2nd week collection of 2017 only behind Baahubali 2 & Khaidi no.150, which are relatively much bigger films. Even Katamarayudu and DJ are behind Fidaa in terms of 2nd week collections.

Fidaa has now taken taken its 2 weeks total share to a staggering 34.77 crore.

Other day at the trailer launch of “Secret Superstar” Bollywood media asked Aamir Khan if he feels pressurised due to the phenomenal success of Baahubali2, his reply was like this.

“I’m happy that Baahubali 2 showed us real potential of Hindi cinema which is way more than 500 crores. Also, the film cut all language barriers. Unfortunately, I didn’t found time to watch the film yet” he said.

Final figures do rnindicate that DJ Duvvada Jagannadham collected only 71+ crores share rnfrom across the globe, falling behind Sarrainodu collections. That way rnhopes of Bunny and his battalion got dashed at the box office. But for arn film that got a huge negative talk on day one, huge criticism from rncinema lovers and film critics, it’s an astounding feat to collect 70 rncrores share.

On the flip side, producer Dil Raju has already applied ointment to those who sustained injuries in the losses created by DJ to a little bit. His Fidaa is doing wonders for them and next time people buy a Dil Raju film they would surely feel happy as the producer will minimise the losses for sure. Maybe DJ team should thank Fidaa team as well for the help.

After her manager Ronnie recently got arrested in drugs case, top actress Kajal Aggarwal has reportedly decided to manage her career on her own.

Ronnie’s arrest and the way her name has been dragged into the potentially detrimental drugs case, has reportedly disturbed Kajal very much. She is now treading with extreme caution and is in no moon to trust any outsider, however skillful and experienced he/she may be.
