Talks Fail, Rana and Nithin Compete
There have been reports that either Nithin’s ‘LIE’ or Rana’s ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri” might back off from hitting the screens on Independence Day weekend.
Both Rana’s father Suresh Babu and the producers of “LIE” held backdoor negotiations but neither of them came to an agreement. So, they have decided to go with their original plan of releasing the films on August 11th.
Nithin’s “LIE” is racing against time to finish its post-production work. It was the first film that announced 11th August as the release date.
Later Boyapati’s “Jaya Janaki Nayaka” and Rana’s “Nene Raju Nene Mantri” also have locked the same date as four holidays are coming during that period. So, no film wants to miss this date.
Rana and Suresh Babu have agreed to shift ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri” to August 18th if Ajith’s “Vivegam” releases on 10th August because they are also targeting Tamil market.
In Tamil, no film will survive if it is pit against Ajith’s movie. But when ‘Vivegam” has been postponed to 24th August, Rana has decided not to postpone his movie from 11th August. Instead Suresh Babu has put pressure on Nithin’s producers.
But 14 Reels, the banner that is producing Nithin’s movie, is not backing off despite talks. This weekend pre-release event is also going to be held in Hyderabad.
So, all these three films “LIE”, “Nene Raju Nene Mantri” and “Jaya Janaki Nayaka” will compete with each other on 11th August.
Can TDP Win Nandyal With Blackmailing?
Telugu Desam Party appears to be in a desperate mood to win the by-elections to Nandyal assembly seat by hook or crook.If it is not possible to win over the people with positive appeals and developmental works, the ruling party leaders want to go to the extent of threatening and blackmailing the voters.
A few days ago, everybody watched how TDP president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu virtually blackmailed the voters of Nandyal saying that his government would not touch the villages which do not vote for the TDP and even went to the extent of saying that those who don’t vote for the TDP should not take pensions and walk on the roads laid by his government.
Now, his close follower and Vijawayada MLA Bonda Uma, known for his loud-mouth nature, also spoke in the same language of Naidu.
Addressing a meeting at Nandyal, Bonda said if the TDP did not win Nandyal seat, the government would stop pensions for the people of the constituency.
“When you are enjoying the schemes introduced by our government, you are supposed to vote for the TDP. Why should you vote for the YSR Congress party?” he asked.
Bonda virtually demanded that the voters should ensure the TDP wins the by-election. “Otherwise, you will have to face serious consequences,” he threatened.Well, it is for the people of Nandyal to decide as to how they should react to Bonda’s threats.
Immigration: Trump’s Support May Benefit Indians
President Donald Trump government’s ‘merit-based’ immigration system may help Indian workers more than anyone else.
Trump has announced his support for a legislation that would scrap the current lottery system to get into the US and institute a points-based system for earning green cards. Factors that would be taken into account in the merit-based system include English language skills, level of education, high- paying jobs, age etc.
If passed by the Congress and signed into law, the legislation titled, “Reforming American Immigration for Strong Employment (RAISE) Act” can cut in half the number legal immigrants but it can benefit highly educated and skilled IT professionals from countries like India.
Among the immigrants to the US, Indians are highly educated, skilled and have an average salary higher than immigrants from any other country, according to the statistics.
“The RAISE Act will change the way the US issues Green Cards to people from other countries. Crucially, the Green Card reforms in the RAISE Act will reduce unskilled immigration and allow only the best in the world to legally enter the US. This key reform will put ‘Americans first’ and make America competitive again,” Trump said at a White House event to announce his support to the RAISE Act.
Viral Video: Balakrishna Manhandled His Assistant
On the day when Balakrishna Nandamuri was being hailed by movie lovers for commencing the shoot of his 102nd film on the immediate next day of wrapping up ‘Paisa Vasool’, the senior hero unfortunately amassed immense negative publicity.
On the opening day of #NBK102, Balayya was allegedly captured manhandling his assistant. The video went viral on social media inviting severe criticism for him. Actually, the assistant may not take the issue seriously owing to his proximity with the senior hero but the video gives an impression that Balayya was very rude to him.

BMW breaks down, Ganguly takes a Taxi
The former captain of Indian Cricket team, Sourav Ganguly, known for his love towards mean machines, was spotted getting down of a taxi to make it on time for BCCI meeting in Kolkata.
Ganguly, who is also called as ‘Prince of Kolkata,’ took a taxi when his BMW broke down midway on Lee Road.People outside the five star hotel were stunned to see Ganguly getting down a taxi. He then as CAB (cricket association of Bengal) president chaired the meeting of technical committee of BCCI.
Recently, Ganguly was caught up in a scuffle over train berth while he was travelling in train first time after 2001. He was travelling to Balurghat to unveil his bronze statue.
The eight-foot tall statue at Bikash Maidan witnessed many of Ganguly’s fans wIting to have a glimpse of Ganguly. Surprisingly, Sushanta Pal, who sculpted the bronze statue, never met Ganguly.

Natural Star Nani seems to have become the latest fan of ‘Fidaa’ after watching it recently.
Right after watching the film, he took to Twitter to heap praises on the film, the director and the lead actors. Interestingly, Nani made the tweet in Telangana accent to create maximum impact.

Modi’s Heart Touching Farewell Letter to Pranab
On the last day in office as the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee received a letter from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It made him so emotional that he couldn’t resist from sharing it with the people of the nation.
“Pranab Da, you have always been a father figure and a mentor to me. You have been so warm, affectionate and caring to me. Your wisdom, guidance and personal warmth have given me greater confidence and strength,” wrote an emotional Modi in his letter to Pranab Mukherjee.

Friday Releases: Only Hot & Star Promotions!
This Friday, we have only 2 noted Telugu films hitting theatres – Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Nakshatram’ and Sukumar’s ‘Darshakudu’. It looks like makers of both these films are relying on some attention-grabbing aspects instead of content in their films for promotions.
Coming to Nakshatram, Krishna Vamsi’s films are generally perceived to be strong in content besides having enough romance (poetic and/or erotic). However, in the case of Nakshatram, the glamour show of the three hotties in the film – Regina, Pragya and Shriya is primarily being used in promotional material. Ever since the release of the trailer, which received mediocre response, hardly any promo showcasing content in the film was released. On the other hand, the sexy stills of Regina and Pragya have been released at regular intervals probably to grab attention of masses.
Regina’s romantic song with Sundeep Kishan, another song filmed solely on her to flaunt her hotness in all possible manners, a bikini song featuring Pragya and the item song of Shriya are being projected as the primary positives of Nakshatram. Looking at this, some movie buffs feel that makers themselves aren’t confident on the film.
Coming to Darshakudu, film’s producer Sukumar is using his good relations with stars in the industry and is relying primarily on star power to promote the film. The likes of Chiranjeevi, Ram Chaarn, Allu Arjun, Samantha and Rakul Preet were used at different stages to promote the film. Lack of popular faces in the film could be a reason for this.
We have to wait for less than 24 hours to see how far these promotional tactics work in favor of the films.
Naidu Creates ‘Anti Sakshi’ Team!
Perturbed over series of reports published in the YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy owned Sakshi Telugu daily and TV channel, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has prepared a counter strategy.
Reportedly, The chief minister created ‘Anti Sakshi’ team involving ministers and TDP seniors. Thier role is to attend TV news debates regularly and counter the allegations appeared in Sakshi media and other TV channels also.
Naidu was very much disappointed with the recent campaign taken up by Sakshi media against his government on service rules of the government employees.
The leaders were asked to monitor regularly the debates in TV channels and take part in them without any failure. Their role is to explain Naidu government’s successful efforts in moving the state towards development despite financial crisis. Based on the performance in TV debates, Naidu will accord suitable position in his government in future.

Hackers Attack On Game Of Thrones??

Like the way a hackers group tore into the servers of Sony Entertainment in 2014 to claim it as the biggest ever cyber hack, now servers of HBO Entertainment are hacked. According to the initial report, 1.5 Terrabytes data was hacked and they are threatening to release it to the world. While HBO is working with FBI closely to track down the culprits behind this security breach, hackers are already on their way to leak the data.
Some reports are claiming that already the script of Game Of Thrones next episode was leaked by hackers on the internet along with videos of other popular TV Series like Ballers and Room 104. Paying an ode to the character Lord Bayelish in Game Of Thrones, the hackers used the identity “little.finger66” to carry out the attack. In a statement, HBO has confirmed the hack and confirmed that some proprietary data was compromised.
Hackers have given certain demands to HBO for not letting their Game Of Thrones go to the public, but much details about it are not known. My Eyes Swell After Crying So Much – Rakul
Rakul Preet Singh, who is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ (JJN), has revealed how much director Boyapati Srinu made her in the film.
Although Rakul hasn’t said it directly, she sort of conveyed in a media interaction that she signed JJN only because of her conviction in Boyapati. Talking about her character in JJN, Rakul said, ‘The ‘Janaki’ you see in the title is me. My character has two vastly different shades. I play a moody girl whose life turns upside down because of one incident. How she copes up with that incident and what the film’s hero does for her forms the rest of the story’.
‘I haven’t cried as much in my entire life as I cried in JJN. My character needed to stay worried all the time and I had to cry every now and then. My eyes literally swell after crying so much,’ Rakul revealed.
‘Boyapati Srinu is a very talented director who can extract the best performances from his actors. Since he himself enacts all the scenes before actors, we need not invent anything but just reproduce the way he had performed the scenes,’ Rakul said rating Boyapati one of the best directors.
Talking about Jaya Janaki Nayaka, Rakul called it an honest love story. The film is slated for worldwide release on August 11.
