Pawan Kalyan Denies Secret Friendship
After meeting AP CM Chandrababu Naidu At State Secretariat today, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan spoke to media. Below are a few important excerpts from his press meet.This is my first press meet in the Capital after floating Jana Sena party.
The honorable CM responded positively to the Uddanam issue and he promised to do everything in his capacity to eradicate the chronic kidney disease.
I thank the Harvard expert team for coming all the way to here to help the state govt. in finding a permanent solution to the issue.I request media and political parties not to search for political motives behind my interest in Uddanam issue. Doing politics with people’s lives is worse than anything.
There is no secret friendship with TDP and BJP. If there is a people’s issue, I will take it to the notice of the govt. I will fight with the govt. for people if needed.I will cater most of my time to politics from October this year.
Even I don’t know the power of Jana Sena until my party goes into public, which will happen in a few months.I have been ready to do ‘Padayathra’ since 2014, but the govt. is not allowing even my car to come into public, citing security issues.
Jana Sena hasn’t yet taken a stand on Nandyal by-polls. I will soon make a formal announcement after discussing with my party cadres.I have knowledge of caste system, but I have never used caste for sympathy or votes. Selfless leaders should not be confined to regions, religions or caste system.
Current politics is relying on ‘divide and rule’ formula. It has to be changed.I haven’t forgot the ‘Special Status’ issue. Jana Sena will soon go into people with a well-planned campaign and make the Centre realize its mistake.
Hero-Heroine’s Awkward Hug in Public
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who carries the image of ‘Playboy’ up his sleeve, has surprised everyone with a recent hug given to hot actress Sana Khan, who acted in his ‘Jai Ho’.
The other night, Salman attended the Big Zee Entertainment Awards event, which was attended by the who’s who of Bollywood. When the former Bigg Boss contestant and actress Sana Khan spotted her Jai Ho co-star on the red carpet, she came closer to him for a hug, and Salman reciprocated with a warm welcome.
What caught the attention of media is the way Salman hugged her. He was having his fists closed while hugging her, probably because Sana was sporting a backless dress and that he didn’t want to touch her bareback. The pictures of Salman’s awkward hug given to Sana have gone viral with fans calling the superstar as a ‘gentleman who knows how to behave with woman’.
Interestingly, rumors were rife sometime ago that Sana grew closer to Salman during her stint in Bigg Boss and that the actor helped her by giving her a role in Jai Ho.
Babu Appointed Pawan As Brand Ambassador
On the occasion of Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan’s meeting with AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada today, the former gave his consent to become the state’s brand ambassador for Jeevandan programme.
Jeevandan is an initiative which promotes Organ Donation. When Chandrababu Naidu requested Pawan to promote the noble initiative in the truncated state, the actor-turned-politician has reportedly readily given his consent. Pawan will create awareness among Telugu people about organ donation as part of his services to the Jeevandan programme.
During the meet, which was also taken part by a team of doctors from Harvard University, the Uddhanam issue was discussed. Naidu reportedly appreciated Pawan Kalyan for bringing the issue of chronic kidney disorder to the fore. The Chief Minister promised to consider all the recommendations made by the Harvard doctors for finding a permanent solution to the deadly disease.
The specialists from Harvard apprised the CM about their plan of conducting a thorough research in Uttarandhra to find more better solutions and requested him to arrange the special equipment required, to which the CM responded positively.
100Cr Defamation Suit Against Kamal
Universal hero Kamal Haasan, who has been embroiled in controversy after controversy for past few years, has landed in a fresh trouble.
A Dalit party in Tamil Nadu has sent a Rs 100 crore defamation notice to Kamal Haasan, who is hosting the Bigg Boss Tamil reality show, the channel that is airing the show and a contestant named Gayathri Raghuram for allegedly making derogatory comments on the show.
The notice accuses Raghuram of using the word ‘Cheri’ (slum dweller), against a co-contestant, thus hurting the sentiments of some underprivileged sections of the society. The complainant in the notice accused Kamal Haasan of not objecting to Raguhram’s choice of words.
The notice demanded an “unconditional apology” from Kamal, the TV channel and the named contestant within seven days or Rs 100 crore , compensation for hurting sentiments.
Goutham Nanda Reportedly Collects 10.36 cr
Gopichand’s Goutham Nanda collected a share of 10.36 crores till this first weekend across the world. Directed by Sampath Nandi and starring Hansika Motwani, Catherine Tresa as female leads, the film is produced by Bhagavan and Pulla Rao on a high budget.
Gopichand off late took a big gap with two of his films struck in boxes. So, Goutham Nanda became a prestigious project and he is quiet happy with box office verdict.
Goutham Nanda picked up very strongly in B, C centers on Saturday and Sunday, while in metros and A centers the film is steady from day one, reports say. Today is the day for crucial Monday test.
Advanced Balayya Worrying Mega Hero’s Plans
This Dasara season, it happens to be very tight at the box office all these days as Mahesh Babu’s Spyder, Jr NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa and Balayya’s Paisa Vasool are likely to lock horns with each other. But with Mahesh picking September 27th and Jr NTR confirming to 21st, everyone is looking forward to seeing if Balayya will stick to 29th or not.
Much to anyone’s surprise, Balayya has now advanced the film’s date to almost a month. Puri Jagan directorial Paisa Vasool will now hit screens on September 1st itself. With the recently released teaser (aka stumper) getting rave reviews from all circles for Balayya’s modified body language, looks and also the dialogues written by Puri, the makers think that release date will not matter now.
For films with full of content, even a non-holiday season might do the justice. For that reason, Paisa Vasool will be hitting screens on the start of Dasara holidays season rather coming for Dasara festival. Meanwhile, this will be little trouble for mega hero Sai Dharam Tej as he fixed “Jawan” for September 1st.
As some oxygen is needed for his career post disasters like Supreme and Tikka, he’s hoping for a solo release but Balayya poured water on his dreams by confusing him with the date. We have to see if Jawan will be pushed to some other date or it will clash with Balayya’s Paisa Vasool. With writer BVS Ravi who is directing Jawan, happening to be a good friend of Puri Jagan, they might seek out a deal.
Vikram Gowd Gun Fire Twist : Athadu Movie Type Plan
As Trivikram Srinivas and Mahesh Babu’s film Athadu, politician Vikram Goud, son of former Minister Mukesh Goud, has reportedly planned an attack on himself. According to police who is investigating the gun fire incident on Vikram Goud that took place on July 28, Vikram has allegedly paid money to the attackers to shoot at him and left him injured. While Vikram is still in recuperating in hospital, more details are yet to be revealed.
Cops said to have taken three of the four attackers in the case into custody. As per the investigation, the attackers admitted to the crime and revealed Vikram’s name. Cops have launched a manhunt for the fourth attacker. A special task-force team has been sent to Anantapur to nab the fourth accused.
Apparently, Vikram has recruited four persons belonging to Anantapur to execute his plan and paid some money for this. While the exact reasons for the act are not known, cops have come to the conclusion that Vikram is the both victim and main-accused in the case. During the initial investigation, cops found it difficult when they received different answers from Vikram and his wife. Cops grew suspicious and after nabbing the accused, it became evident that Vikram also involved into this.
Cops are planning to put various cases against Vikram for his act and misleading the cops. For the past three days, several teams of Taskforce have been working on the case. Meanwhile, cops are yet to ascertain the missing links in the case. The gun with which Vikram was shot is not found yet and is still missing. The gun powder found on Vikram’s hands also raising to new suspicion that he could also shot at himself.
As of now, police are probing the issue. More details are yet to be traced.

Krishna Vamsi is not new in showcasing his actresses glamorously. But it is buzzed that he has gone overboard and doing it like never before. As per trade reports, the collections of Fidaa on second Sunday were higher than the first Friday (Release day) collections. It is a clear indication that the film is holding up pretty strong and it is poised for a long run.
Fidaa is expected to continue its dream run for another one-and-half week before three biggies – LIE, Jaya Janaki Nayaka and Nene Raju Nene Mantri hit screens on August 11.
