Superstar’s Family was Poor at Studies
As per the revelations of Ranbir, his legendary grandfather Raj Kapoor failed in 6th class. ‘My Father (Rishi Kapoor) failed in 8th Grade and My Uncle (Randhir Kapoor) in 9th Grade. Actually, I am the most educated member in Kapoor family as I passed 10th Board exams with 56 percent,’ said the young hero with a sense of pride.
He further revealed that his mother used to threaten him saying that she would report his poor grades to his father Rishi Kapoor. The ‘Rockstar’ actor said he is glad that there was no social media during his schooling otherwise his father would have made fun of him by sharing his marks.
Despite having been poor at studies, Ranbir has become one of the finest young actors. Films such as Barfi and Rockstar have brought out his acting prowess, and he is gearing up to stun audiences with his performances in his upcoming films – ‘Jagga Jasoos’, a July 14 release and Sanjay Dutt biopic.

DJ Beats Khaidi! – Mega Fans Attack DJ Office
The controversy erupted over the collections of Duvvada Jagannadham is not going to be cool down anytime soon. Few Chiru fans supporting Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan have surrounded DJ office in Sagar Society on Monday raising slogans against producer Dil Raju and director Harish Shankar. The fans have demanded producers to show proofs for the numbers declared by the team.
Mega fans who are upset with the collections of DJ said to have lost cool after director Harish Shankar openly challenged media to prove the numbers wrong. Harish and producer Raju claimed that the film collected a share of 20 Crore in Nizam alone beating the collections of Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No. 150 and blockbuster films of other star heroes.
This naturally has not gone well with Chiru’s fans who said to have decided to lodge severe protest at Dil Raju’s office. While the staff of Dil Raju are shocked with this sudden unexpected protest by Mega fans, they seem to be trying their best to persuade the crowds to bring back normalcy.
Despite mixed reviews, DJ claimed to have stood as blockbuster. This gave rise to speculations that the collections were ‘manipulated’. Since Dil Raju is the producer, distributor and also exhibitor who has sizeable cinemas in his hold, it is difficult to find out the original collections of the film.
‘I am Not a Fool to Join Jana Sena’
YCP MLA Roja Selvamani has made it clear that she has no plans of quitting her party and joining any other political party in the state.
When asked about the rumors of her making efforts to join Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena party with the recommendation of her ‘Jabardast’ co-host Naga Babu, Roja condemned the reports. ‘Even Pawan Kalyan doesn’t have a clarity on if he really has a party. I am not a fool to even think of joining Jana Sena,’ Roja reiterated.
She further said that YCP chief Jagan stood as a pillar of support to her in difficult times and that she will never ditch him and his party in this life. Roja confessed that she had a few proposals to join TDP but she would never go back into Chandrababu’s camp.
‘I didn’t think of being decorated with any post when I joined YCP. I just wanted to serve people. I have no reason to change party,’ said Roja while clarifying on having developed differences with Jagan recently.

“There is a lot of hypocrisy in Telugu film industry. We can touch other heroines, romance them, but ladies from our household should be safe and not do any such stuff” he says, in the wake of his elder daughter Sivani entering film industry as a heroine.
“Earlier it was believed that if women come into films, then they will get spoil and bring a bad name to the family. But when a doctor’s son is becoming a doctor and lawyer’s son a lawyer, why not an actor’s daughter an actor? If I’ve had a son, I would have made him a hero only. As there is no such chance, I’m making my daughter a heroine”, said Rajasekhar.
When it comes to encouraging their daughters as heroines, few big stars of Tollywood failed to show their compassionate heart. They have laid restrictions on daughters and made them do only either character roles or lead roles that don’t require any skin show. For all such stars, definitely, Rajasekhar’s decision is a slap in their face. “It’s not ethical if I say no to my daughters’ film interest when I and my wife are from the same background. Kids generally show interest in taking up dad’s profession, so there is nothing wrong in it”, the senior hero added.

Heroine shocked with Balayya’s fight
A lot has been said and reported about the latest film of Nandamuri Balakrishna in the direction of Puri Jagannadh – Paisa Vasool. As the film marks first collaboration of ace director and actor, the action sequences are certainly going to be a huge feast for fans.
After a long schedule in Portugal, the film unit shifted its base to Hyderabad. The action entertainer, which has Shriya Saran as leading lady, is currently underway in the outskirts of Hyderabad wherein the actor is shooting for an action block with other actress Kyra Dutt alongside him.
As soon as the 57-year old Balakrishna is done with his part of fighting the goons effortlessly, Kyra Dutt stood rooted to the spot and quickly after that, she took to Twitter and showered praise on the senior hero.

Sharmila Crosses Line. Targets Bhuvaneswari
YS Sharmila has made awful personal comments against CM Chandrababu Naidu and his wife Nara Bhuvaneswari. Sharmila didn’t even spare Bhuvaneswari who is a business person and staying away from politics. Talking at the plenary, Sharmila sympathised with Bhuvaneswari for her ‘agony’.
Expounding further, she alleged that Bhuvaneswari is living with person (Chandrababu) who had ‘backstabbed’ her father (NTR), insulted him and responsible for his death. Sharmila said that Bhuvaneswari can’t share her ‘suffering’ with anyone.
Sharmila didn’t stop there. She went onto explain what Bhuvaneswari goes through when she looks into the eyes of NTR in his photo. All these personal remarks of Sharmila are evoking laughs and reminding us of TV serials with too much of sentiment, melodrama. This was not all. Sharmila’s speech looked like a by-hearted speech written by speech writers where she had repeated words, sentences often throughout the speech.
In attempt to defame Chandrababu, Sharmila did cross her line by bringing in Bhuvaneswari into the scene. It needs to be seen how TDP leaders would retaliate Sharmila’s comments now. TDP top brass, including Nara Lokesh, said to be deeply upset with Sharmila’s remarks on his mom.
Heroine Spreading Rumors of NTR Stealing Puri’s Idea?
Ever since a leading national media house broke news that NTR Jr stole the idea of Jai’s character from one of the stories narrated to him by Puri Jagannath, the rumors spread like wildfire in Tollywood circles, and NTR’s image was at stake. Now, it has come out who is behind spreading these attention-seeking allegations.
After ‘Janatha Garage’, NTR contemplated on working with Puri, and they had bounced a few ideas too. However, they decided to move on and collaborate later as they couldn’t finalize a story which could excite the star hero. Later, Bobby approached NTR with the story of ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ and NTR gave his nod to him.
After the release of first teaser from Jai Lava Kusa, which introduced the character of Jai, a devotee of Raavana with a stammering problem, a movie-less heroine close to Puri, who has been working in production department of his films, has allegedly spilled beans to media that the Jai character was lifted by NTR from the story narrated to him by Puri.
It is heard that the only similarity between Puri’s story and Jai Lava Kusa is the lead character having ‘stammering’ problem, that’s it. Is it justified to accuse NTR of ‘plagiarism’ just because of one similarity? Moreover, Puri’s story had only one protagonist with stammering problem whereas Jai Lava Kusa has three characters in lead lead roles with only one having negative shades and stammering issue.
This heroine close to Puri has reportedly intentionally spread these rumors on NTR in order to malign the actor’s and film’s image in view of the Dussehra clash of JLK and Puri-Balayya’s ‘Paisa Vasool’.
Mega Director Entering Restaurant Business
From Nagarjuna to Sandeep Kishan, Sharwanand to Sashank, Nitin to Kona Venkat all these celebs do invest carefully once they got some nice bank balance.
While Nag is a tycoon in restaurant and food business, these other small heroes are trying their luck recently and they are doing good.
Entering into this business is none other than mega director Surender Reddy now. After carving out films like RaceGurram and Dhruva with mega heroes, he’s now director Megastar Chiranjeevi in upcoming Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy.
In the meanwhile, Reddy is investing his hard earned money into the restaurant business. He’s already started constructing a posh hotel on the outskirts of the city which will have inter-continental dishes on the menu and terrific ambience at the location.
Currently, Surender Reddy is said to be supervising the constructing part whenever he gets time while he’s busy with pre-production of Uyyalawada rest of the time. These days more than the food quality, it’s the ambience and location that are playing prime in the success of a food business. We have to see what happens in the case of this stylish director.

Pawan’s Satire on Jagan’s Padayatra
Pawan Kalyan was the first in political fraternity to respond on YS Jagan’s Padayatra. While discussing about it in internal meeting with Janasena party leaders, Pawan thrown a funny satire on Jagan’s walk-a-thon.
“I had announced to do a padayatra in Anantapur. After my statement, if someone else follows and starts it, I don’t know what to say. It’s good that we inspired others. If really people’s problems get highlighted and get solved with those (Jagan’s) Padayatra, well, it’s good for everyone. I’ll be most happy if people’s problems are solved. The credit need not come to me. I don’t mind even if the credit goes to them (YSRCP),” Pawan Kalyan shared his views. Pawan’s fans are widely sharing the video on social media platforms.
Pawan is taking time out of his shooting schedule (PK 25) and spending time to build the party. In his free time, Pawan is meeting partymen, workers of Janasena thus strengthening his party. Given there’s little time ahead of 2019 polls and Pawan himself is contesting from Anantapur, the actor-politician is chalking out various plans to go into people. Looks like, PK is bracing up with several plans to win more crowds.
