Spyder Creates Unbelievable Record
Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film ‘Spyder’ is roughly three three months away from release, and it has already started creating some unique records.
The official YouTube channel of SPYder movie is on its way to reach 100,000 subscribers (just 400 short). This is an unprecedented feat considering that not even the film’s Teaser has been released yet (only glimpse of teaser was released a month ago). This unique feat speaks volumes about the film’s craze among movie goers.
No movie has attracted 100,000 subscribers on Youtube three months before its release. It may be recalled that the ‘Glimpse of Spyder’ video also clocked millions of views in very short span.
A grand set is currently being erected in the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad for the shooting of a song there between July 5 and July 8. The unit will assemble back after some time to film the only remaining song of the film, and thus will wrap up the entire shooting part.
Spyder is on its way to hit screens on September 27.
Beer is a Health Drink? Nonsense!
Andhra Pradesh Excise minister K Jawahar’s comment in a television interview that beer is a health drink and that he was ready to prove it evoked strong reaction from the YSR Congress party.
Taking strong objection to Jawahar’s remarks, YSR Congress party MLA R K Roja said the excise minister’s statement that beer is a health drink shows his audacity to promote liquor and indicates the priorities of the state.
The cabinet has taken a decision to de-notify the national highways to enable more liquor outlets which shows that the cabinet has no concern for women and the anti-liquor struggle but it needs only excise revenue.
“We will take up the issue and agitate for closure of liquor outlets and bars on highways,” she said.
The Supreme Court has given a ruling that liquor outlets should be 500 meters away from national highways and 220 meters away from state highways and the cabinet decision to de-notify the national highways is to encourage liquor shops and bars, she said.
Of the 885 bars in the state 660 bars are on highways and 3,500 liquor outlets are on the highways which shows that there is no concern for safety of people.
The state cabinet has decided to covert national highways into state highways through denotification to enable more liquor outlets.

Rajini Daughter’s Divorce Over, Without Much Ado
The principal family court judge Maria Clatta formalised the separation, after Soundarya and her estranged businessman-husband Ashwin stood firm on their resolve to end the marriage.
For about seven months now, the divorce proceedings had been happening before the court without any show of adversity. It was smooth, as the decision was mutual. The terms of settlement, however, is not known.
The couple, married on September 3, 2010, has a four year old boy, and nothing has been revealed about either the custody or visiting rights of the parents on the child.
Lawyers privy to the divorce proceedings said the couple had been living separately for about seven months now, and their misunderstanding over various issues reached a point of no return earlier than that.
Though initially the news of marital discord was being denied by both Soundarya and Ashwin, the fact that Soundarya kept saying that she always felt proud to identify herself as ‘Soundarya Rajinikanth’, triggered debate over the status of their marriage.
They later came out in the open about the ongoing case, and appeared in court together. The separate proceedings were smooth and without much ado.
Actress Seeks Divorce Just 6 Months After Wedding
There is a saying in Bollywood that many hot models and actresses marry rich business, actors and filmmakers just for the sake of alimony. Iranian model turned actress Mandana Karimi is now allegedly being accused of having applied the same tactic to earn easy money.
Mandana, who has become a household name after appearing in the ninth season of the controversial reality show Bigg Boss, married Gaurav Gupta, a Mumbai-based businessman, in January this year. Barely six months have passed, and she has now filed a domestic violence case against her husband, and sought divorce.
In her petition, Mandana claimed Rs 10 lakh as monthly maintenance besides a compensation of Rs 2 crore for the trauma caused, and loss of career. She alleged that her husband had stopped her from working in films after marriage and so she lost a flourishing career. She further alleged that her husband threw her out of their matrimonial house seven weeks ago and her repeated efforts to reconcile with him failed.
It is heard that Mandana had married a rich guy just for the alimony, and unleashed her real intentions barely six months later.
Brahmotsavam Wound Hasn’t Healed yet
Samantha and Kajal Aggarwal became the best buddies when they acted together for the first time in a film, NTR’s ‘Brindavanam’. Their relation allegedly strained when they worked together again for Mahesh Babu’s ‘Brahmotsavam’. It is now heard that differences between the two hotties still exist.
Rumors erupted during Brahmotsavam time that Samantha was annoyed with makers giving prominence to Kajal in the film’s promotions. Their relation allegedly further deteriorated after Kajal was roped into do a special song in ‘Janatha Garage’. Speculations were rife then that Sam was miffed with Kajal’s face being used for promotions despite she was the film’s lead heroine.
Now, as the duo has once again came on board for Tamil star hero Vijay’s upcoming film ‘Mersal’ (Adirindi in Telugu), their alleged catfight has caught the attention of unit members. Reportedly, they never spoke to each other during shoot breaks, and tried their best not to come face to face.
‘Katamarayudu’ producer Sharat Marrar, who is releasing ‘Adirindhi’ in the Telugu states, was hoping to bank on the popularity of Sam and Kajal to promote the dubbed film. It seems that he will have to face tough time bringing these two hotties on same stage.
Viral: Jagan Touches His Feet
YSRCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s act of touching the feet of NDA presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind has become a hot topic of discussion in political circles as well as on social media.
Along with his party leaders, Jagan met Kovind in Hyderabad on Tuesday and extended his party’s support for him. During this meet, Jagan touched Kovind’s feet and seemed to be taking his blessings. Apparently, Jagan doesn’t have the habit of touching people’s feet, however big a person may be.
People on social media are now making fun of Jagan saying that he fell on soon-to-be President’s feet in order to escape from the innumerable cases against him. Jagan’s supporters on the other hand defend his act saying their leader was just showing his respect for an elderly person and an eminent leader like Kovind.

As KV happens to be a specialist in carving out such erotic and mercury-raising songs in his movies, he seems to like using the best of his film’s stuff to bring back the lost attention for the movie Nakshatram. ‘Balakrishna Can’t Do Justice to NTR’s Role’
On Tuesday, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma announced that he would be directing the highly anticipated biopic of legendary Telugu film actor and politician Sr NTR. The actor’s son Balakrishna Nandamuri is gearing up to step into his father’s shoes. Can Balayya do justice to NTR’s role? The late actor’s wife Lakshmi Parvathi doesn’t believes so.
Soon after the announcement on NTR’s biopic was made, Lakshmi Parvathi spoke to media and said that she has doubts on Varma’s ability in portraying the incidents happened in her husband’s last few years of life. She allegedly opined that Balayya is unsuitable to play NTR’s character.
Highlighting why Varma was the wrong choice, Parvathi said that he had allegedly shown NTR in bad light in ‘Raktha Charithra’. She questioned if Varma has similar courage of portraying Chandrababu Naidu as the villain in NTR’s biopic. She demanded for the authentic presentation of how Babu allegedly backstabbed his father-in-law and dethroned him from CM chair.
