Trailer Talk : ‘Most Controversial Movie of this Year’

Here is the shocking and bold trailer of upcoming Hindi film, ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’, which was dubbed as the ‘Most Controversial Movie of this Year’ by the Pahlaj Nihalani-headed Central Board of Film Certification. The Board even put in its best efforts to stop the film from releasing in India.
The film is based on the stories of four women who set out on a ‘forbidden’ path to explore their dreams, desires and sexuality. The trailer is loaded with sassy lines, lots of sex, and pretty much everything that can make a conservative man uncomfortable.
After watching the trailer, one would get a vague idea on why the film was dubbed ‘too lady oriented’, ‘contains contagious sexual scenes’, ‘audio pornography’ and ‘unfit for Indian society’ by the Censor Board. “Lipstick Under My Burkha” was initially denied a certification by the Board but the makers managed to get ‘A’ certificate by appealing to the FCAT (Film Certification Appellate Tribunal).
Calling itself a ‘film exploring women empowerment and an attempt to challenge the patriarch society’, ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’ is slated to hit screens on July 21.
Trade: DJ Passes Weekday Test

After raking in record moolah over the fortuitous four-day weekend, Bunny’s DJ has reportedly passed the first weekday test as well. With the film showing minimal drops on its fifth day, buyers are confident of recovering their hefty investment.
By collecting decent Rs 4.38 crore share on Tuesday, which happens to be the first weekday for DJ in theatres, the Bunny starrer took its total to 46.76 crore share across the Telugu states.
Duvvada Jagannadham Five Days Collections:
Nizam – 16,40,00,000
Ceded – 7,90,00,000
Nellore – 1,99,27,976
Guntur – 4,45,00,000
Krishna – 3,19,45,907
West – 3,30,94,015
East – 3,79,05,166
Uttharandhra – 5,73,00,000
Total 5 days AP & TG Share – Rs 46.76 crore approx.
Despite the film was met with poor response in the US, DJ still managed to collect approx. 58 crore share and 82 crore gross at the worldwide box office in just 5 days.
With steady run, the target of Rs 80 crore worldwide share looks very much possible, and that too in very short span. While the Ramadan holiday weekend helped the film initially, lack of competition at box office is helping it now.
Secret Behind ‘Rangasthalam’ Revealed

Literary meaning of “Rangasthalam” is ‘stage’ and everyone believed that mega hero Ram Charan will be seen as a drama-artist inside his new film.
Directed by Sukumar and featuring Samantha in the lead, “Rangasthalam 1985” completed its Godavari schedule other day and the team will soon fly to Kerala and the return back to Hyderabad to finish total work. Insiders have revealed an interesting thing about the title of this film, which we hear that Megastar Chiranjeevi hasn’t liked initially.
Actually, the name of the village where the whole story happens is “Rangasthalam”. Though such village didn’t really exist in Godavari’s Konaseema region, we hear that Sukumar has come up with this idea as there is a link to it in the story.

After WannaCry, it’s Petya Ransomeware

Days after the WannaCry Ransomware virus attacked millions of hardware systems across the globe, including some computers in Andhra Pradesh police department, European firms have witnessed a similar malware attack that is being investigated by Interpol. In a very fresh cyber-attack, the hackers have stepped up and caused a serious disruption to large-scale companies of Europe.
This time it is called ‘Petya ransomeware’ (updated version- Peterap). European firms which are hit by this attack include Saint-Gobain, WPP, Evraz, Rosneft and others. Just how last month’s WannaCry Ransomeware infected PC showed a message demanding bit-coins after hacking the PC, Petya virus is also doing the same. Affected computers are displaying the message demanding a bitcoin ransom worth $300 & confirmation of payment to an email address.
In an official press statement, the United States National Security Council said that government agencies are working towards investigating this attack and further said, ‘determined to hold those responsible accountable.’ According to reports from an anti-virus firm Kaspersky Lab, the Petya ransomeware impacted close to 2000+ computers in Europe, majorly in Poland, Ukraine and Russia.
Some of the airports in Europe were also struck with this attack and no one was able to officially detect/patch it so far. Considering that data of such large cos is at stake, UK’s national security agency and Interpol are conducting investigations and hopeful about catching the culprits.
Raviteja’s Brother Missed, Posani Gave Hand

Both Posani Krishna Murali and hero Raviteja’s slain brother Bharat are known for their share of controversies. While Posani is popular for his stringent and upright comments on many, Bharat has shot to fame with drunk-driving incidents and drugs cases.
Guess what, such a volatile profile is what needed to take part in this TV show. Yes, you guessed it right, it’s none other than Big Boss TV show. Inside this show, actually, participants with such touch of controversies generally get to play in the house. We hear that Bharat has confirmed his entry into the Big Boss show, while Posani is to take a call on the remuneration part.
Latest update is that Posani decided to not take up this show as the remuneration is not promising and also he felt that the show might end his career as an actor if he gets brushed with any controversy. Unfortunately, Bharat is no more and he missed out the deal.
Seems like Star MAA picked their host, Jr NTR, pretty easily by offering a terrific remuneration but it’s not the case when it comes to picking the participants. Already the likes of Suma and Anasuya have rejected the Big Boss offer straight away.

Iran accuses US of ‘brazen’ plan to change its government
Iran is accusing U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson of “a brazen interventionist plan” to change the current government that violates international law and the U.N. Charter.
Iran’s U.N. Ambassador Gholamali Khoshroo said in a letter to Secretary-General Antonio Guterres circulated Tuesday that Mr. Tillerson’s comments are also “a flagrant violation” of the 1981 Algiers Accords in which the United States pledged “not to intervene, directly or indirectly, politically or militarily, in Iran’s internal affairs.”
Mr. Tillerson said at a June 14 House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on the State Department budget that U.S. policy is to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons “and work towards support of those elements inside of Iran that would lead to a peaceful transition of that government.”
Mr. Khoshroo urged all countries to condemn such “grotesque” statements.
