RBI Issues New Rs 500 Currency Notes, Old Notes Valid
India government has brought new series of Rs 500 denomination notes. Reserve Bank of India issued Rs 500 denomination notes with inset letter A. However, the old notes introduced post denomination in 2016 would continue to remain the legal tender.
“In continuation of issuing of Rs 500 denomination banknotes in Mahatma Gandhi (new) series from time to time which are currently legal tender, a new batch of banknotes with inset letter “A” in both the number panels, bearing the signature of Urjit R Patel, Governor, Reserve Bank of India; with the year of printing ‘2017’ on the reverse, are being issued,” an official statement from the RBI was issued on Tuesday.
The central bank said that the notes will bear Swachh Bharat logo on the backside of the banknote and that some of the notes would carry an additional character in the space between the prefix and the number of the banknote. The officials also clarified that the government has no plans to print Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000 currency notes.
This Hero Always Want A Top Heroine?
After romancing Samantha, Tamanna and Rakul Preet, young hero Bellamkonda Srinivas is going to pair up with a noted Bollywood heroine for his next film being directed by Sriwass. Apparently, director Sriwass and producer Abhishek are in talks with a popular Hindi heroine for this untitled film.
It’s said that her remuneration and dates have been worked out but the producers are expecting an additional 7 days of dates (paid) to promote the film. A formal announcement is expected to be made soon once everything is finalised. Jagapathi Babu, Ravi Kishan will be seen in other significant roles.
Meanwhile, the film’s shoot has begun on Monday in Ramoji Film City. A massive set has been erected where the shoot has been started. Renowned technicians have been roped in to work on the film. While Devi Sri Prasad composes the music, Baahubali fame Peter Hein is going to choreograph the action episodes. Arthur Wilson is going to crank the camera and Sai Madhav Burra has penned the dialogues.
3 Indians in Forbes Highest Paid Celebs 2017 List
Shah Rukh Khan and Khiladi Akshay Kumar have once again made it to the Forbes list of world’s highest paid celebs after last year.
The list has Shah Rukh featuring at the 65th position with USD38 million in earnings. Salman Khan, the new entrant, is ranked 71 with USD37 million earnings in the past twelve months. Akshay Kumar clinched the 80th place with USD35.5 million earnings. Major part of the earnings of these stars come from brand endorsements.
Last year, Shah Rukh ranked 86th with earnings of USD33 million, while Akshay occupied the 94th spot with USD31.5 million earnings. Both the stars have bettered their earnings and also ranks this year. Amitabh Bachchan, who found a place last year, failed to do so this year. Salman Khan is the new entrant this year.

India’s leading Men’s magazine GQ has recently unveiled the list of Top 50 Best Dressed Celebs, and Ram Charan is the only hero from Tollywood to feature in the Top 50.

Meher Ramesh Hand In Paisa Vasool?
Known for his speedy shooting skills, director Puri Jagan always wraps films on time. And from last one month or so he’s in Portugal, filming the 101st film of Nandamuri Balakrishna. Other day he named this film as “Paisa Vasool” and surprised all the fans.
A little birdie from the set reveals that 30% of this film will have shots directed by another director. Actually, director Meher Ramesh earlier worked as Puri Jagan’s associate and Puri is the one who gave him chance to direct Kannada version of Andhrawala. Later Meher carved out some classics which shocked every average filmgoer as well.
Forget his flops, but Meher is one stylish filmmaker who could bring ‘style’ to the frame even when there is no substance. That led Puri Jagan to handle him the second unit direction of Paisa Vasool in Portugal, the source shared. In all likelihood, many chases scenes and action episodes are being shot by Meher Ramesh, while Puri Jagan takes care of dialogue version and other emotional scenes.

YS Jagan Is Not Happy With Roja?
There is some change in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy after his return from his family tour to London. The Leader of Opposition of AP is back in action and this time he is quite serious. As the next general elections could be anytime in 2018 or in early 2019, Jagan is prepping up for the big battle.
In run up to the election battle, Jagan is chalking out a clear strategy to win this battle with the assistance of Prashant Kishore, a well-known political strategist who played a key role behind the victory of PM Narendra Modi.
Apparently, in the list of points given by Prashant, Roja’s ‘bad’ reputation is reportedly diminishing the party’s image. Her loose tongue and her antics in various public places including Assembly, her language at opposition TDP leaders all said to had earned a bad name for YSRCP and Kishore told Jagan to correct it quickly before it could damage the party’s prospects.

Bigger Deal Than Baahubali’s For SPYder?
Superstar Mahesh Babu’s SPYder has become a hot cake in Tamil Nadu ever since the film’s teaser was unveiled two weeks ago. The makers, who had been in discussions with several leading distributors, have finally sold the Tamil Nadu rights for a record sum.
Reportedly, the TN theatrical rights of SPYder were acquired by a major distributor for a record Rs 18 crore. This is a huge sum, not even the Tamil rights of Baahubali: The Beginning were valued at such staggering price, say trade analysts.
The name of AR Murugadoss has helped the makers of SPYder clinch this record deal. The action thriller is expected to have a massive release in Tamil Nadu simultaneously with the Telugu version for Dussehra this year.
Interim, the film is in last leg of production. Murugadoss is taking his own sweet time and sculpting SPYder with utmost care in order to meet the staggering expectations. Going by Murugadoss’ track record and the glimpse of SYPder, the film is likely to impress multiplex audiences and if the same happens in B,C centres too, then the box office record books will have to be rewritten.
