Superstar Mahesh Babu and Mega Power Star Ram Charan are the new Best Friends in Telugu film industry. However, the former has now given a major shock to latter by announcing that his ongoing film Spyder with AR Murugudoss will be releasing for Dasara.

In fact, Ram Charan and Sukumar film has been eyeing Dasara release for longtime and planning also done to release it on September 27. But certainly, it’s a shocker when Mahesh tweeted that Spyder comes for Dasara.

With this, Charan and Sukumar’s film either has to be advanced or postponed. Since the way the film is progressing, advancing the film is not possible. So, the makers are going to miss Dasara which will have a solid 10-day-long holidays. Producers Mythri Movie Makers are also in shock now. Since their next commitment is Mahesh 26 with Trivikram Srinivas, certainly they don’t want to clash it with Mahesh’s Spyder.

And industry sources say there is no chance of Mahesh changing the date as he himself has tweeted about the Spyder release putting rest to all speculations. Now, Charan-Sukumar film may eye for Diwali release i.e in October second week.

Responding to the hullabaloo surrounding Superstar Rajinikanth’s political plunge, actor-turned-politician Jayaprada has reportedly given a serious suggestion to the actor by giving the epic example of Megastar Chiranjeevi.

Jaya, who shared screen space with both Chiru and Rajini in more than one film, welcomed Rajini into politics and opined that there would be no better time for him to join politics. She exuded confidence in Rajini becoming the next Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu given how strong his fan base is. She however suggested Rajini not to take a backstep like Chiranjeevi did after floating his owing party.

Chiru’s fans as well as detractors often say that merging Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) with the Congress was the biggest mistake Chiru did in his career. The move not just killed his party but also proved detrimental to his image. It even allegedly distanced Pawan Kalyan from him.

It seems that Jayaprada was one of the well-wishers of Chiru who didn’t like his political blunder.

Ace director Rajamouli, who has cautiously kept the secret of having differences with Mega producer Allu Aravind for so long, has finally opened up. And, the reason is truly a surprising one.

In a latest interview, Rajamouli revealed how embarrassed he was when the makers of NTR’s ‘Simhadri’, his only second film as a director, endorsed fake 175 days record. ‘I was happy when ‘Simhadri’ ran for 100 days in record number of theatres. But, coming to 175 days centres, producers faked the number by adding 15 more, just for boasting of records,’ recollected Rajamouli.

‘Hence, I requested Allu Aravind garu in the pre-production stage of Magadheera itself that i am not comfortable with the unhealthy trend of faking records and he agreed not to repeat the Simhadri stunt. However, he went on to fake the 100 days centres of Magadheera and I was very disappointed. When I confronted him, he cited the sentiments of fans as the reason. I understood the pressure on him as a producer but my conscience didn’t allow me to endorse the idea of fooling people with fake numbers,’ Rajamouli revealed.

He however added that as rumors spread wildly, he was never angry with Aravind for not giving him due credit. ‘I was in disagreement with him for only the reason of 100 days centres of Magadheera. In fact, I was very comfortable working with Aravind garu,’ Rajamouli ended his shocking revelations on a positive note.

The summary of Rajamouli’s outburst is, records of ‘Simhadri’ and ‘Magadheera’ which fans have been boasting of all these years, are actually fake.

Hardly 10 days after officially launching the first look poster of Sanghamitra at Cannes International Film Festival, the film’s leading lady Shruti Haasan has walked out of the project.

While the exact reasons for Shruti opting out of the film are not known, it’s confirmed by the close sources that the Gabbar Singh actress is not part of the two-part magnum opus that is touted to be made with a staggering Rs 250 Crore budget.

The tri-lingual historic drama also features Jayam Ravi and Arya. The poster saw Shruti Haasan riding a horse with a sword in her hand. The makers had already invested a chunk of money on Shruti. Shruti had been trained in sword fighting in London over the last few weeks.

Directed by Sundar C, Shruti was supposed to play the role of a fierce warrior. Set in 8th century AD, the film will have music by Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman.
