Generally, people celebrate 10 years of a film/firm / event, 15 years, silver jubilee, golden jubilee and even Diamond jubilee. And wedding anniversaries are also celebrated in the same way. But one such wedding became a big deal that today the 10th anniversary of it became a national topic.

On April 20th, 2007, heroine Aishwarya Rai and hero Abhishek Bachchan have tied the knot. Much before this marriage, Abhishek was supposed to marry Karishma Kapoor and then Rani Mukherjee but both didn’t take off. At the same time Aish has dated Salman Khan and was supposed to marry Vivek Oberoi, but those relationships ended bitterly. And you know, that’s the reason today Aish-Abhi marriage became such big deal.

Many thought that this marriage will not last for a long time. Adding fuel to their expectations, there are divorce rumours many times about the couple. Some rumours have come out that all is not well between Aish and Jaya Bachchan, so the divorce is imminent. But none got true and Aish-Abhi is still wooing audiences with their display of affection. There are so many reasons for “Baahubali” to become a phenomenon but from a long time, many Tamil makers want to beat this success. Already they have tried through Vijay’s Puli but the film has failed to touch Baahubali. And then Rajnikanth’s Kabali, though a different genre film, tried its best, but Rajamouli’s magic is so bigger that it has it’s own formula that others cannot decode.

Now, three people from Kollywood trying very hard to overtake this magnum opus. Firstly there is director C. Sundar (heroine Kushbu’s husband) who has pooled up 100 crores investment now to make a Baahubali like film which is titled “Sangamitra”. He’s working rigorously with concept artists, VFX teams, noted art directors to bring the best for the film.

Then this first musketeer is joined by hero Jayam Ravi, who is working really hard to carve out a Prabhas like physique and pull a stunner that whole of India will chant his name. The last one is none other than seductress Shruti Haasan who want to all the stops of an Anushka, Tamanna and Sivagami herself through her lead role in this movie. She’s currently getting trained by a foreign stunts expert in sword fighting.

Will the energy of these three musketeers make them a cohesive force to beat Baahubali’s shadow? That’s something we have to see.

Responding to the burning topic and brewing controversy over the release of Baahubali: The Conclusion in Kannada after an organisation Karnataka Rakshana Vedike vowed to stall film’s release till Sathyaraj apologizes over his remarks made during Cauvery water crisis nine years ago, SS Rajamouli has put a video message.

The acclaimed and award-winning filmmaker has expressed his sincere gratitude to Kannada audiences and thanked them for their support to him and his films including Baahubali: The Beginning.

Addressing Kannada movie lovers in Kannada, Rajamouli said, “I’m thankful to all of you for your support right from my debut film ‘Student No.1’. to the last ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’. You’ve all watched ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’. I’m indebted to you for your support to  ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’. Now, ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ is ready for release. It’s known that actor Sathyaraj is playing a significant role in the film. I came to know that few of his previous comments had hurt a large section of you. I feel it’s my responsibility to give out a clarification in the issue.”

“Baahubali has no connection to Sathyaraj’s remarks. The film is not produced by Sathyaraj. Neither he is part of Story, Screenplay, Dialogues nor contributed to any technical aspects of the film. He has just acted in a role in the film. He took his remuneration for it. That’s it. Sathyaraj’s comments are his personal opinion. Our view is that his personal opinion shouldn’t trouble the film that he acted in. Yet, as responsible people, we have took informed the situation to Satharaj over the phone. We don’t have more power than this.”

“Sathyaraj had made those remarks nine years ago. After that, several films of him had been released. The films he acted and he produced had been released in Karnataka. ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ has also released. We request you to receive ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ as well like the previous films. If ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ is stopped, Sathyaraj won’t get any loss. The problem is for Technicians, producers who have worked hard for five years for the film and for Kannada distributors and Kannada movie audiences. I urge you all not to show the anger against Sathyaraj on Baahubali. Hope Kannada people who’re movie loving audiences would receive ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ well,” Rajamouli concluded.

He hoped that the film will release in Kananda smoothly on April 28 on which the film is releasing across the globe in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

Mega couple Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni are busy setting couple goals for all other young couples out there. Despite being busy with their hefty schedules, these two are making sure that they spend their time together, irrespective of the location they are at.

Last Sunday, Charan has flown to Hyderabad from Rajahmundry around where he’s shooting for his upcoming film under Sukumar’s direction. And then, when he’s going back to Bhimavaram to take part in Kolleru schedule of the movie, Upasna too accompanied him.

While the mega hero was busy shooting for the film in the day, evenings and nights have become a holiday for him with his wife. They have visited some places in Kolleru, temples in Bhimavaram and around, also to some mango gardens too. While some mega fans have hosted these two, some Congress party bigwigs also welcomed the mega couple for dinner and lunch.

On a whole mega couple’s Godavari tour became super duper hit and we hear that Upasna has surprised everyone they met with her intelligence, gyaan and the way she talks. At the same time, Charan’s royal behaviour was said to be a super hit with Godavari people.

Overwhelmed by the affection shown by the people of that region, Charan promised them that his film with Sukumar will be a huge tribute to the region as most of the shooting is happening there only.

Very surprisingly today Akkineni Nagarjuna has organised a press meet to announce the completion and release date updates of his latest production venture “Rarandoi Veduka Chooddam”. The film has Naga Chaitanya, Rakul Preet and Jagapathi Babu in the leads, while Lavanya Tripathi also plays an important character. At the press meet, Nagarjuna shared some trivial information that gives goosebumps to all.

Directed by Kalyan Krishna of Soggade Chinni Nayana fame, there were rumours earlier that Nagarjuna ordered for re-shoots of the film and also he’s himself getting the editing done. Guess what, Nagarjuna has confirmed this today.

“Only after I got satisfaction at the editing table, I’ve given a go ahead to hold a press meet. I’ll release the film only after I like it and feel confident about the result. From the last couple of weeks, I’m in the editing room with director Kalyan Krishna and checked the film thoroughly. The film has come out well”, said Nagarjuna.

This is more like Megastar Chiranjeevi sitting at the editing table for most of Ram Charan’s films and making a best cut from a scrap looking film to make it work at box office. From Racha to Govindudu Andarivadele to Dhruva, Chiranjeevi has turned editor. There was buzz that he walked out from edit room of Bruce Lee and the result is known. Seems like even Nagarjuna is taking care of his son’s films now.

Talking more about the film, he added, “Chaitanya has done a good job. Director Kalyan Krishna is a good writer and he proved already by taking hit with the first film and also gave hit to me. Rakul is an energetic actress and fits the bill perfectly in Bramaramba character. Jagapathi Babu has done a great job as a dad without his villainy antics like in Legend movie. His salt and pepper looks are too good”.
