If a call comes from top stars like Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu, will any heroine say no? Even though it’s a small role, or a less paying one, or a role that will be only limited to songs, many star heroines made sure that they won’t miss films of these mighty heroes. But there is one girl who is completely in contrast to everyone out there.

During the times of Brahmotsavam, heroine Rakul Preet Singh got a call from Mahesh Babu and Co, but our heroine has to let that movie away from hands as there are no dates in her kitty. Any other heroine would have kept films of other small heroes aside and walked into Mahesh’s film. But Rakul, coming from an army family, gave importance to commitment than money and fame. Later she joined Mahesh for AR Murugadoss movie.

In a pretty similar style, now Rakul has rejected even Pawan Kalyan’s film too. Citing her inability to give dates, this hot and happening leading lady has to say nothing but NO to AM Ratnam’s proposed film with Pawan to be directed by Neason. While the names of Nayantara and Samantha are heard for this film as well, the makers showed more interest on Rakul Preet. However in the end, Rakul has to lose it out due to date issues.

Probably Rakul is the only heroine to reject both Mahesh and Pawan’s film citing date issues. Meanwhile she will be seen soon in movies like Saidharam’s Winner, Mahesh-Murugadoss movie, Naga Chaitanya’s film and others.

Recently Pawan Kalyan has announced that he’s willing to become the brand ambassador for handlooms when the AP and Telangana Weavers Associations met him. He stated that since Khadi is the native and represents culture as well, he want to turn its brand ambassador while he don’t like such ad-stuff in general.

But within no time, Telangana Handlooms minister, none other than KT Rama Rao, has picked Samantha as the brand ambassador for the same. Earlier one may have said that Samantha is not a Telugu girl to represent Telugu state, but now that she’s a Telugu daughter-in-law, there is nothing anyone can deny.

Other day The Telangana State Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society (TSCO) has picked Samantha as their ambassador and KTR presented the heroine with some weaved sarees as well. After a long wait, at last, Eesha has bagged a movie. The Telugu girl, who earlier acted in films such as Antaka Mundu Aa Taruvatha and Bandipotu, has now signed a film on the dotted line.

However, it’s with the same director again who had given her the last two films. Director Indraganti Mohana Krishna has roped in Eesha to pair up with Adivi Sesh in his next multi-starrer that begun its shoot from today.

Today mega brother Nagababu revealed that Pawan Kalyan advised him to read a book, titled, “Jonathan Livingston Seagull” which is written by famous author Richard Bach. One wonders what this book is about, It is the story of a seagull (a bird that’s seen flying on seas), which tries to get perfection in life and flight. Veteran director and former union minister Dasari Narayana Rao continues to be in a critical condition, but doctors who are treating him at the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences are hopeful that he would be alright in the next couple of days.

According to director of KIMS Dr Bollineni Bhaskar Rao, Dasari had suffered rupture of colon due to infection and it spread to various parts.

“We have cleaned the colon part and are giving treatment for infection. At the same time, his both the lungs have failed and hence, he has been kept on ventilator. We are cleaning lungs. And for the failed kidneys, we are doing dialysis. He is responding to all the treatments and his condition is stable, though critical,” the doctor said.

Senior actor-producer Mohan Babu said the veteran director was alright for now.

“Let us all pray for his speedy recovery. The God has given him a lot of willpower and we are confident that he will recover in a short time,” he said.

From a simple young hero to a “Natural Star”, youngster Nani has emerged as one most dependable hero in Telugu film industry. The Income Tax department today conducted raids at the offices of Nithin and his father Sudhakar Reddy. The IT raids began this morning at Sudhakar Reddy office in Jubilee Hills.

Sudhakar Reddy is leading producer and distributor. He also does business in partnership with other distribution houses like Global Films and Asian Cinemas.

As Sudhakar Reddy distributed movies like Nandamuri Balakrishna’s “Gautamiputra Satakarni” in Nizam area, the IT officials is said to have visted him to enquire the accounts.

On the other hand, Nithin recently launched two movies and it was reported that he took huge remuneration for it. Nithin’s father Sresth Movies also announced huge line up.

If we take a look at the films that Sukumar has directed, all of them present their protagonists differently and the lead actors had to put in extra efforts to bring life to the characters etched by the intelligent filmmaker. His new film with Ram Charan is no different and the mega heir has taken up a huge challenge by accepting this film.

Through the pre-look poster of #RC11, Sukumar has already ascertained that it will be a true-blue rural backdrop film, set in Godavari background. Although Ram Charan has tried this genre in Govindudu Andarivadele, he played an NRI in that film so he didn’t have to do anything out of the box in that film.

However, in Sukumar’s film, Charan has to play a guy who was born and bred in a village. The actor has already grown his beard and gone for commendable physical transformation for his role. His accent also has to be pitch-perfect to look convincing as a village youth so similar efforts have to be put in to learn the accent as well.

NTR’s Chari, Bunny’s Gona Ganna Reddy, Mahesh’s role in SVSC etc. are some characters which were immortalized by Charan’s competitors by improvising their accent to suit the characters they had played.

As he is a Hyderabadi, none expects him to be fluent in Godavari slang without any preparation. If Charan sticks to his sophisticated and well-groomed dialogue delivery, he wouldn’t be able to create the intended impact on audiences.

Although he knows that Sukumar’s films are commercial risks, Charan accepted this project as he identified it as his best chance to impress the class and family audiences. Known for putting strenuous efforts for his films, Charan is expected to master the accent at least by the time the film goes on floors.

Senior actor-producer Manchu Mohan Babu is said to be personally taking care of the treatment being given to veteran director and former union minister Dasari Narayana Rao, who had been admitted to Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Hyderabad, where his condition is said to be critical.

According to hospital sources, Mohan Babu has been camping in the hospital ever since Dasari was admitted on the complaints of severe lung infection. However, doctors have identified that the veteran director had suffered multi-organ failure, especially kidneys and lungs.

“He has been on ventilator and dialysis. He is undergoing a surgical procedure. His condition is critical and how and when he would recover can be disclosed only after 24 hours,” sources said.

Mohan Babu is learnt to have come forward to bear the entire expenditure of Dasari’s treatment. He will be addressing the media along with KIMS director B Bhaskar Rao in the evening. This shows how much Mohan Babu is involved in the  treatment to his mentor, guide and philosopher.

Nagarjuna recently denied the news of Dil Raju is going to produce a movie with Nagarjuna and Chaitanya together. It was true that Dil Raju didn’t announce the project but media reported saying he announced this movie in the direction of Satish Vegesna of “Shatamanam Bhavati” fame.

Nagarjuna in a tweet laughed at the rumors and termed that it was news to him. But latest buzz is that Nagarjuna is now showing interest to work with this director. As “Shatamanam Bhavati” turned into a massive hit that is likely to collect about Rs 30 Cr, Nagarjuna is said to be talking with the director and producer Dil Raju.

As Satish proved that he can make a family drama, Nagarjuna has gained confidence on the director who made two duds earlier. Nagarjuna reportedly asked Dil Raju now to prepare such cool family-oriented drama with him.

Nagarjuna is all set to commence the shoot of “Raju Gari Gadhi 2” from next month. Later he is planning to start a movie in the direction of Chandoo Mondeti of “Premam” fame.
