Director Vijay Kumar Konda has come into the spotlight after he directed films like Gundejari Gallantayyinde and Oka Laila Kosam with heroes like Nitin and Naga Chaitanya. He’s on the trials now to direct Varun Tej in a confusion comedy whose script work is going.

Other day it was a shock when Vijay Kumar Konda announced that he got married on March 1st. He has also shared a copy of the wedding card on his social networking page. He got married to his longtime girlfriend Prasunna in a private ceremony at Sri Venkateswara Sannidhanam in Srinagar Colony, Hyderabad.

While the wedding card proves that it’s an arranged marriage with both the families giving a go for the big fat event, it’s quite surprising that none from the film industry are even invited to it. Actually, Vijay Kumar Konda doesn’t want to announce that he got married but he has made it public only after his friends insisted him to do so, says a report.

Though some say that it’s a sudden wedding, looking at the card we can’t believe that it happened all of a sudden. One wonders what made the director to keep his wedding as such a low profile event. Anyway, congrats on the wedding, happy married life Vijay Kumar Konda!!

There is no clarity yet on when NTR Jr would join the sets of #NTR27 but a very early rumor on the film’s business has started spreading in media.

Reports are emerging that a producer has offered a huge Rs 85 Cr just for the worldwide theatrical rights of #NTR27. The rumor looks to have been formulated on the theatrical business of Janatha Garage, which has collected around Rs 82 Cr share in its full run.

Well, we have heard of some astronomical deals in the recent times for particular areas no Tollywood producer has dared to take the rights of all areas by offering a sum higher than the career best of a star hero. Of course, Bollywood production houses like UTV, EROS, Fox Star etc.often crack such deals.

Even if some producer comes up with such unbelievable offer, producer Kalyanram Nandamuri might not give away the rights as the very reason for NTR doing this film for his brother’s banner is to cover up the losses of distributors of Kalyanram’s earlier films.

For now, the shooting of #NTR27 is swiftly progressing but NTR hasnt yet joined the team.

Ram Gopal Varma is back with the trailer of Sarkar 3. And it doesn’t require a mastery on films to derive that Sarkar 3 has striking resemblances with the third part of Godfather. The trailer of Sarkar 3 indicates that the film is loosely based on Francis Ford Coppola’s Godfather 3 that in turn is based on Mario Puzo’s novel.

While Godfather 3 sees old Michael Corleone as guilt-ridden and is semi-retired from mafia business, his nephew Vincent Corleone rises against to his wish. And exactly Sarkar 3 emulates this albeit with slight modification. Apparently, Mahesh Babu and his director Koratala Siva are facing court trouble as a writer accused them of plagiarism when it comes to the script of Srimanthudu movie.

In connection with the petition filed by novelist RD Wilson alias M Sarath Chandra, a local court on last Monday issued summons to Mahesh Babu, his director Koratala Siva and producers Mythri Makers to appear before the court on March 3rd. The novelist accused that Koratala and Co copied “Srimanthudu” story and scenes from his serial “Chachenta Prema” that was published in Swathi weekly in 2012. He has published the story under the pen-name Sarath Chandra in the weekly.

However other day First Additional Chief Magistrate has given stay on the orders produced by the Local Court with Mahesh Babu’s G Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt Ltd requesting an interim stay on the orders citing busy nature of the actor with work. While the case for copyrights breach is yet to be heard, Mahesh and his director now got a relief from attending the court.

We hear that the proceedings on the case will however go on until the parties either settle the dispute outside the Court or the Court pronounces a final verdict after hearing the arguments of both the parties.

Earlier when there is buzz that his supposed “Auto Jaani” with Megastar Chiru got cancelled, he announced Mahesh Babu’s Jana Gana Mana all of a sudden.

Ever since the news of Akhil and Shriya’s engagement got cancelled and their destination wedding in Italy in May was called off, there have been several speculations and innumerable rumours. And Chai-Sam wedding was supposed only for 2018 depending on both the actor’s professional commitments – especially Samantha’s. So, the decision of Samantha and Chaitanya’s marriage was left to Samantha as she wanted to do films before marrying and settling with Chaitanya. Although Sam would continue to act post wedding, but she is much aware of the act that she wouldn’t get the offers post marriage like before. So, she decided to take time and her beau Chaitu, father-in-law-to-be Nagarjuna too agreed for it.

In fact, Samantha had even told media that her wedding would not be sooner and would be later next year.

But everything has been changed in Akkineni camp. In the last 10 days, in a drastic change of events, Akhil’s wedding was cancelled and this is seen as a major jolt to the family. As per the latest discussions within the family and also after consultations with a top astro pundits, it’s said that a ‘Subhakaryam’ (Good Event) shall overturn all the vibes.

This is said to be why Samantha and Naga Chaitanya have now decided to go for marriage before than earlier. And yes, it will be two weddings – one as per Hindu traditions and second as per Christian customs. After going back and forth for many days, Ram Charan’s next film with Sukumar was finally launched in the last week of January. While postponement of Dhruva and subsequent of Khaidi release were reasons behind the delay, it’s also said that confusion of Sukumar is one of the reasons. Be it the change of initial heroine Anupama Parameswaran or the delay in music sittings or now the delay film’s shoot is raising several doubts.

Even a month after the film’s opening, the film hasn’t started its shooting. This is giving raise to speculations like what’s cooking between Ram Charan an Sukumar. Inside talk is that Sukumar hasn’t come up with the bound script and said to be working on the changes that Ram Charan insisted.

It can be noted that Sukumar has been fine tuning the script since Nannaku Prematho time. And yet nothing seems to have shaped up. Meanwhile, a team is scouting for the shooting locations. Since many thought that the film would hit the screens for Dasara, looks like this may not make it for Dasara given that the film hasn’t hit the floors yet.

Meanwhile, Rana has signed yet another war film. Set against 1945, the period film is about a soldier who fought for India’s Independence in British Raj. On other hand, his most-awaited Baahubali 2 is slated for release April 28, i.e next month.

Akhil’s second film is long-overdue. After his maiden film Akhil turned out to be dud, the actor has been in discussions for several stories including the remake of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani with Oopiri director Vamshi Paidipalli. However, nothing materialized and finally Manam director Vikram Kumar has been zeroed in on.

While the first story of Vikram for Akhil that was in discussion for a while too stopped midway due to few script issues in the second half, at last, a fresh and energetic story of Vikram got nod from Nagarjuna and Akhil. The story would be on the lines of Nagarjuna’s Shiva and would portray Akhil in an interesting backdrop.

As the preparations for the film’s launch is underway and is in pre-production phase, turbulence in Akhil’s personal life has come in as a jolt. His engagement with designer Shriya Bhupa has been cancelled and the marriage that was scheduled in May in Italy is called off, the actor has got time to go back to work.

Currently, Vikram Kumar and his team is scouting for the locations. It’s reliably learnt that Akhil and Vikram would soon launch the film in the first week of March and begin the regular shoot of the film. Insiders say the film’s launch and shoot are expected to begin from March 5.

The ongoing feud between fans of Allu Arjun and Pawan Kalyan has taken an uglier turn after the recent teaser of Allu Arjun’s Duvvada Jagannadham received nearly 1.5 Lakh dislikes. While the allegations are rife that Pawan fans could be behind it, the heat could be felt by Allu Arjun and producer Dil Raju. Apparently, Bunny too isn’t happy over the way things are unfolding between fans of both the stars.

Since the issue is becoming nasty, mega producer and Bunny’s father Allu Aravind has stepped in as a peacemaker between both the parties. It’s reliably learnt that Aravind is trying to mediate between Pawan Kalyan and son Allu Arjun & thus send strong signals to mega fans that ‘all is well’ inside mega family. Aravind is said to be toying with the idea of launching a song of DJ by Pawan Kalyan. As per latest reports, a prominent US buyer has shelled Rs 3.75 Cr to bag the US rights of Nani’s new film ‘Ninnu Kori’. It may be noted that ‘Ninnu Kori’ must collect at least USD 1M to land the buyer in safe zone. This deal is the highest figure in Nani’s career for this region but the distributor seems to have very high confidence on Nani’s crowd pulling capability, especially in the US.

Ever since ‘Yevade Subramanyam’, all of Nani’s films barring Majnu have brought profits to buyers. Collecting around USD800K looks cakewalk for Nani’s films and with positive talk, USD1M is no impossible task. The actor’ latest outing ‘Nenu Local’ has proved this already by becoming his 2nd million dollar film.

‘Ninnu Kori’ is completely set in the US backdrop so nativity aspect will be another advantage to attract crowds to theatres. The distributor hopes that Nani’s success streak will surely bring him profits despite his hefty investment.
