From a while, a word has it that it’s quite a herculean task to meet Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. In what can be called as a support statement to that, the Krishna district buyer of Sardaar Gabbar Singh yesterday alleged, ‘it is very tough to meet Pawan Kalyan and a coterie surrounding him is literally barricading everyone. Eventually, I cannot meet him and seek help for the losses I incurred with Sardaar.’

Adding to it, Industry folks also carry a report that it is really a daunting task to approach Pawan Kalyan, as he doesn’t devote time to meet visitors or frequently engage with fans like other movie actors. Even the personal mobile number of Pawan Kalyan is not known to many, except to his very close group of friends, family.

Now that Pawan is into politics, the similar style of rule sheet and group of the inner circle could hinder his chances of meeting diverse people and listen to them. Producers of Winner said to have taken two days of Rakul’s dates and using those dates during the publicity activities of film.

Going into details, Rakul’s dates were blocked much in advance by the producers. As per the initial plan, a song was supposed to be shot on both Rakul and Sai Dharam Tej. However, the makers said to have dropped to shoot the song since the film’s release date – Feb 24 – is announced already and don’t want to miss the date as it also coincides with Maha Shivratri festival.

This isn’t all. Even the film’s budget said to have shot up already and taking note of all these, director, producers and the team in unison decided to call off the shoot of the song.

This resulted in the two days dates of Rakul and producers decided to use it for the promotions of Winner. So, if one is wondering how come Rakul is aggressively promoting Winner and giving a spree of interviews to TV channels, print media, this is the story.

The last week’s bilingual release Ghazi, starring Rana Daggubati and Taapsee in lead, has kicked off with a superb mouth talk right from day-1 of its release. By end of first weekend, the first Indian under-sea war film has made good profits for the production company PVP Cinema. Directed by a debutant Sankalp Reddy, the Hindi version of Ghazi was presented by Bollywood producer-director Karan Johar.

Sampath Kumar, who said to have bought the theatrical rights of Pawan Kalyan’s last film Sardaar Gabbar Singh, called for a press conference on Monday and leveled seriously allegations against producer Sharrath Marar and the film’s executive producer MSR alias Sreenivas.

Alleging that he lost nearly Rs 2 Crore on the film, Sampath said he was promised to compensate the loss with the actor’s next film Katamarayudu. According to Sampath, Sreenivas of Pawan’s office had told him that he’d be given Pawan’s next film Katamarayudu and asked him to meet him in February first week. However, Sampath said that he felt dejected when he’s been trying to approach them since January last week.

“I’ve been calling them but none of them are answering my calls. I left messages and no replies to the messages even. Neither producer Sharrath Marar nor executive producer Sreenivas are responding positively. 2 Crore loss is unbearable for an ordinary man like me. Any one in my position would commit suicide,” Sampath shared his woes. He added that Sreenivas had told him to contact Eros from whom he had bought the film.

“I was told to contact Eros after 1 year. Then why was I promised of Katamarayudu rights? Only because of Pawan sir, I bought the film. Even I signed the agreement without reading anything keeping only Pawan sir in my mind,” added Sampath.

“I had even tried to meet Pawan Kalyan sir at his party office and tried for his appointment. I was turned down and denied appointment stating that Pawan wouldn’t talk about films in his party office. We even approached through Film Chamber. When a few have spoken to Sreenivas about me, he threatened me of serious consequences. Sreenivas even called my friend in Mumbai and told him that I’d have to face the consequences,” he said.

Claiming fan of Pawan Kalyan, Sampath said that he wants justice from Pawan and alleged that Pawan’s aides are “using” him and making profits out of Pawan’s film. Sampath said that he bought the rights of SGS for Krishna district for Rs 4.5 Crore from Eros International and as the film garnered around 2.58 Crore share, it incurred nearly 1.8 Crore loss.

Some months ago, news popped out that actor Nandamuri Balakrishna would be working with maverick filmmaker Krishna Vamsi for his 101th film ‘Raithu’. Also, the actor-director duo approached Bollywood Big B Amitabh Bachchan to ask him for a crucial role in film. Post Gautami Putra Satakarni, Balayya intended to cast Shriya Saran opposite him in Raithu. Since that film is not materializing and director KS Ravi Kumar is interested in casting Tamannah in this film, Shriya Saran needs to play a waiting game to achieve her next Telugu offer.
