The teaser of Katamarayudu has stirred up the feud between fans of Pawan Kalyan and Allu Arjun. While all mega heroes including Ram Charan has responded on the teaser, Allu brothers are the only ones from the mega compound who haven’t talked about the teaser. Neither Allu Arjun nor Allu Sirish has commented or shared the Katamarayudu teaser.

Especially Bunny’s silence has added fuel to the earlier controversy of him – “Cheppanu Brother” – that irked Pawan’s fans. As soon as directed Harish Shankar announced on his Twitter page that the first look and teaser of his next film Duvvada Jagannadham with Allu Arjun would be out soon, comments from Pawan’s fans poured in. Many of Pawan’s fans have made it clear that they won’t watch the film, a few fans of PK said that they’d watch the film for Harish Shankar, a self-proclaimed Pawan’s fan, but not for Bunny.

Naturally, the comments of Pawan’s fans below Harish’s Tweet hasn’t gone well with the fans of Allu Arjun who strongly countered to the criticism of Pawan’s fans. On the whole, the ‘DJ’ tweet from Harish led to a Twitter war of PK fans and Bunny fans.

In this curtain raiser to the upcoming teaser, Vijay is spotted hugging his female lead Shalini tightly on the sets of the film during its schedule in Rishikesh. On one hand he hold Shalini and on other hand he holds a burning cigarette.

Apparently, the temperature then was minus 7 degrees and to show the intensity of the shivering temperature, even Vijay is seen kissing his girl on camera. Needless to say that the act is nothing but publicity-seeking act.

This is not all. Calling Arjun Reddy as ‘bloody crazy’ film, Vijay said that the film was shot in Mussoorie, Italy, Munich (Germany), Mangalore, Rishikesh and Hyderabad. Vijay claimed that they didn’t have access to shoot on Moon else they’d have got it shot there. This statement is something that has gone overboard again.

Based on a true story, Arjun Reddy is directed by newcomer Sundeep Vanga and it will have its teaser launch on Feb 14 for Valentines’ Day. Given that Vijay raised the curiosity with pre-teaser itself, let’s wait and see how the teaser is going to look like.

Mega Star Chiranjeevi is continuing his storm at the Box Office. Silencing his detractors, Chiru made a splashy comeback as the film has crossed Rs 100 Crore share mark.

The Telugu remake of Kaththi directed by VV Vinayak said to have crossed total world-wide  “distributor” share of  Rs 100 Crore. As per trade, Khaidi had a decent 4th Sunday and this made it achieve the magic figure of 100 Crore share.

Thus it emerged as the ‘All Time Second Highest Collected film’ in Telugu, standing next only to magnum opus Baahubali, Khaidi No. 150. As per the trade analysts, Khaidi has also set new record in Vizag.

With this, Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu has been pushed to Third Highest Collected film in Telugu.

Released on Jan 11 on Sankranthi eve, the film achieved this rarest feat in 26 days.The film is the maiden production of Ram Charan on his home banner Konidela Production Company while it’s presented by Chiru’s wife Konidela Surekha.

Nenu Local has reportedly opened to good occupancy on its first Monday as well. At this steady rate, the romantic entertainer starring Nani and Keerthy Suresh is expected to place all its distributors in safe zone in the first week itself.

Over the last few months, biopic films and movies based on real-life incidents have become more customary in Bollywood. While many of them amazed us in theatres, there are plenty of interesting biopics on the way.

One of them will be ‘Haseena’, based on the real story of underworld don and mafia gangster Dawood Ibrahim’s sister. Touted as one of the most authentic film developed based on Dawood’s story, the film has Bollywood sister-brother duo playing onscreen roles of Haseena and Dawood (sister and brother) as well.

Filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia, who directed Ram Charan’s Zanjeer in the past, is helming the project wherein actress Shraddha Kapoor is playing the lead role Haseena and her brother Siddhant will be seen as Dawood. As the makers, on Monday unveiled its first look featuring Shraddha, Bollywood is highly in praise for the actress.

Since the character has negative appeal, Shradhha Kapoor’s look was quite rugged and completely different from what we got see from her in the past. The black mascara on her eyes are making her look more audacious and bold. Since Shraddha was always confined to glamorous roles and had never tried something offbeat, it’s going to be definitely a challenging role for her.

The film will bring to screen the life of Haseena from the age of 17 till 40. As Haseena had passed away in the year 2014, it was tough for the ‘Ok Jaanu’ actress who had not many inputs to understand her antics. However, she’s confident of getting into the character impressively. Titled as Haseena-The Queen of Mumbai, the Bollywood biopic will stride into cinemas on 14th July, 2017.

We have already reported that mass maharaja Ravi Teja’s new film, ‘Raja The Great’ was launched today. Kalyanram Nandamuri has given clap for this movie and his act not just officially kick-started the film but also dismissed two rumors that were in circulation earlier.

It is known that Ravi Teja’s ‘Kick 2’ was produced by Kalyanram on NTR Arts banner. The film turned out to be a disaster and brought huge losses to the Nandamuri actor-producer. Before it was released into theatres, Kick 2 was postponed for several months and there were umpteen rumors that Ravi Teja and Kalyanram were not on the same page regarding the film’s output. As the time passed, those rumors faded away but did not die.

Next, before NTR decided to go ahead with Bobby’s directorial after Janatha Garage, Anil Ravipudi was the most probable to direct him. NTR had promised to give his new project to Kalyanram but Anil Ravipudi was committed to direct a film in Dil Raju’s banner. Rumormongers linked there two theories and spread gossips that Kalyanram forced NTR drop Ravipudi’s script as the young director wasn’t willing to direct the film for NTR Arts banner.

Now, months after that, Anil Ravipudi has launched his new directorial, the same subject of a blind protagonist that NTR was impressed with but hesitant to do, with Ravi Teja and Dil Raju. Interestingly, Kalyanram gave the clap to the first shot. This friendly gesture of the Nandamuri hero is a substantial proof of his very amicable relation with both the ‘Kick 2’ hero and Ravipudi and a slap on the faces of rumormongers.

At a time when a biopic is being planned on Mahanati Savithri, why not a biopic on Senior NTR? The legendary actor’s life story could be make into one epic biopic given it has seen the heights of both film industry and politics. Meet the small girl seen in the teaser of Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu that is rocking the YouTube. The cute girl is none other than Yuvina Parthavi and she is well known as Baby Yuvina.

Baby Yuvina is spotted in the 25th second of the teaser when Pawan tries to save her from goons. Though it’s a blink-and-miss presence in the teaser, it’s learnt that the girl has a significant role in the film.

Yuvina has kick started her acting career at the age of three in TV. She was introduced as a child actress in AVM Productions television serial ‘Uravukku Kai Koduppom’ (2011) and her performance in the serial received acclaim. Since then, there’s no looking back to the cute Yuvina. She also did a few TV commercials before making her silver screen debut.

Yuvina made her filmy debut in 2014 where she appeared in Ajith’s ‘Veeram’. She shared the screen space with Ajith and she got good recognition. She went onto act in Linguswamy’s production ‘Manjapai’. Yuvina also acted in a one scene role in Vijay-AR Murugadoss’s Kaththi where she is the girl at the airport cared for by Samantha. She has acted in a slew of south films and acted in the films of Ajith, Vijay, Suriya, Arjun Sarja (Jai Hind 2).

While doing several Tamil and Kannada films, she has been signed for Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu. This would be Yuvina’s Tollywood debut.

In a touching gesture, Kangana has reportedly gifted her guru a costly 2 bed-room apartment which worth Rs 2 Cr.

Going into the details, when Kangana landed in Mumbai form a remote village in Himachal Pradesh, she saw a man, Surya Narayan Singh doing gymnastics at Juhu Beach. When she asked him to teach her, he did it for free and since then Kangana has reportedly been learning yoga from him and she also takes many key decisions of her life after consulting him.

Reports further stated that although her guru never asked her for anything in return, Kangana felt the need to do something for him as a ‘Guru Dakshina’ and hence she has gifted her two-bedroom apartment to him. She is apparently also helping him remodel the place so that it looks like a yoga centre with great atmosphere.

Kangana has always been nice to people close to her. Earlier, she had gifted a two-bedroom flat to her sister when she got married.

Rana’s forthcoming Ghazi is India’s first underwater war film. While only those underwater submarine moving shots or collisions are made in CG using 3D animated models, all the action, drama and emotional episodes in film one see on screen from February 17th are all real and shot completely live when Rana or other artists are performing.

However, the submarine PNS Ghazi set is going to be the highlight. What kinda toil that went into erecting the huge set?

Pakistan submarine Ghazi’s actual length was approximately 300 feet but based on cinema budget and feasible technical grounds, Ghazi technical team designed a 125 feet huge setting in lower tank bund area of Secunderabad.

“We erected 125 feet Ghazi submarine close to scrap market in and around Rani Gunj, Musheerabad, Kavadiguda areas of Secunderabad because 30 to 35 percent material consumed in making Ghazi setting live was used from this scrap market to cut down the expenditure. To give the realistic appeal for Ghazi model and to learn about real time submarine mechanism, we spent three weeks of time in Vizag museum with curator’s permission. During those time periods between 1940 to 71 communication was completely analog and not digital,” Shivam Rao, art director of Ghazi, highlights the passion and dedication behind Ghazi.

All this was on one side of pre production before the entry of PVP and Matinee Entertainment banner into production. Once when Prasad V Potluri of PVP Cinema and Niranjan Reddy of Matinee Entertainments agreed to produce Ghazi with Rana as lead, the whole set had to be redesigned.

“We redesigned the complete submarine setting just before beginning the production phase because our first setting could not accommodate Rana’s height. Producers were very co-operative and a further big submarine was built with three compartments. Designing the interior architecture with propulsion system and armaments used was a challenge.

Except the remains of PNS Ghazi in Visakhatapnam museum, there were no references and evidences to study about USS Diablo (first name for Ghazi submarine) because it was built in 1944 in US, said Shivam Rao, who took it as challenge and erected the set.
