Actress Pooja Jhaveri says that her role in upcoming Telugu romantic-drama “Dwaraka”, which stars Vijay Deverakonda in the lead, gave her lot of scope to perform.

“My role is such that it has given me immense scope to perform, unlike other roles in my career so far. My character is the reason behind everything the hero does in the movie. In a way, the entire story revolves around my role,” Pooja told IANS.

Directed by Srinivasa Ravindra, the film features Vijay in the role of a thief.

“It’s an interesting story of how a thief (played by Vijay) becomes a baba. What are the circumstances behind his transformation? All these things form the crux of the story. Although it’s not an out-and-out commercial film, it does have its commercial moments,” she said.

In the film, which features a battalion of actors, Pooja plays a Hyderabadi girl.

“She’s just out of college and she’s being forced to get married. However, she’s against the idea and has something else on her mind,” she said, adding it was a lot of fun working on the project.

“In each scene, there were about ten characters on screen. In that case, you can imagine the number of actors who worked in the film. The set was always busy, full of people,” she added.

Talking about the experience of working with Vijay, who is basking in the success of “Pellichoopulu”, she said: “His film released around the time when about 70 per cent of our film was completed. Despite the success and fame, nothing has changed about him. He’s a great friend and a wonderful co-star.”

Currently awaiting the release of Dhanush-starrer Tamil film “Thodari”, Pooja is in talks for a few Telugu projects.

Ram Charan Teja has a bad habit. Though he decides on his next film well in advance, he would take a very long to start the shooting. If he wants his film to be released on Dasara, he would hurry through the shooting only four months before the festival.

As a result, the directors would have to move heaven and earth to meet the deadline. Charan did the same for his earlier film “Govindudu Andari Vadele,” by bringing pressure on director Krishna Vamsi to complete the film in a short time. As a result, he had to release the film without shooting a song.

Same had happened in thecase of “Bruce Lee.” Though the director wanted to shoot a song on Chiranjeevi, he had to drop the idea because of Charan wanted the film to be released hurriedly. Needless to say, both the films turned out to be failures.

Now, the same story is being repeated in case of Dhruva. Charan has fixed October 7 as the deadline to release the film. But, sources say, not even half of the film has completed shooting. It means, the remaining half of the film has to be completed within a month and go for post-production before the deadline.

One can understand how the film makers have to struggle for this. And in the process, if the quality of the product gets affected, there is no point in blaming the director and technicians.

Now as per latest buzz, Ritu Varma had accepted a leading role beside Nikhil Siddharth. This movie is being directed by Sudheer Varma. It should be noted that, this is the second time Sudheer Varma join hands with Nikhil after ‘Swamy Ra Ra’.

Sudeep who impressed everyone with ‘Naan Ee’ scored a hit recently with ‘Mudinjaa Ivana Pidi’. The actor even shared screen space along with Vijay for ‘Puli’. However Sudeep feels some other actor is better than Vijay. He said ‘Thala Ajith’ is real and doesn’t fake anything.

He further said that he would love to act with him un future. He also said Ajith is a gutsy person and he never reveals his actual age on screen. According to report from TOI, “I feel he is very real.

He doesn’t fake anything, both on and off the screen. When I see in interviews and his lifestyle, I think it’s something amazing. It is always nice to be associated with films like that, where he himself doesn’t expect too much from his films.

And one more thing that strikes about him is that he comes out with his natural self. You need guts to do that. Normally all heroes would like to look younger than their original age, including me.”

Rashmi Gautam, who hit stardom as the anchor of ‘Jabardasth’ show, has announced that she wants to become the princess of the genre of films she does.

To avoid further suggestions from so-called caring people, Rashmi announced her intention behind choosing bold roles by tweeting, “I choose 2 be the princess of my hut” (for all those people who have issues with my choice of films)”.

Telugu producers of Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menen starrer ‘100 Days Of Love’ say that the film’s original version of the same title which was released in last year was a super hit.

But, the fact is the film directed by Jenuse Mohamed received positive reviews in Malayalam, but it ended as an average grosser at box office. Will the Telugu version releasing today astound Telugu audiences?

Everyone wants to know ‘why Kattappa killed Baahubali? Apparently, Rajamouli didn’t know reason behind it, when he was making the Beginning part. Rajamouli’s dad and film’s writer Vijayendra Prasad in an interview long ago said, ‘Why do you think Kattappa killed Bahubali? He had just stabbed him. For all you know, he might still be alive.’

As per latest reports, Rajamouli shot four versions to give answer for ‘why Kattappa killed Baahubali?’ at climax in Baahubali: The Conclusion. Rajamouli will decide on which is to be included, before production works come to an end.

Rajamouli indeed is an expert in dealing tough tasks, so he would definitely choose best out of the four. It sounds as if Rajamouli would release four versions in few days gap between each version. Thus, it will be helpful in bringing audience to theaters 4 times.

Meanwhile, Baahubali 2 is slated for release on April 14, 2017.
