Ever since Devi Sri Prasad has been kept out of Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra Satakarni, there’s a lot of curiosity on who’s going to replace Devi for the Balayya’s landmark film. Since the film happens to be historic epic, many in film circles thought Krish may zero in on Keeravani or Ilayaraaja. However, Krish proved their guesses wrong by roping in Kanche music director. Chirantan Bhatt is finalised to compose music for Gautamiputra Satakarni.

Given that the music of Kanche was well received, Krish had retained Chirantan. Chirantan had worked for films Gabbar is Back, Ragini MMS 2 and even worked for two tracks in Ram Charan-starrer Zanjeer.

But Chirantan feels working for GPSK is challenging and interesting as he doesn’t have much freedom to use instruments like he does for regular commercial films. What’s more? Chirantan has already started working on the tunes and since it’s historic epic, the film would mostly have melodies.

Jr NTR starrer Janatha Ganage, which is re-scheduled to hit screens on 1st September, has been making headlines from last few days. Now days before the film’s release, a section of Pawan Kalyan fans in Andhra Pradesh are boiling over the murder of their co-fan Vinod Royal, who was reportedly killed by Jr NTR fan in Karnataka.

Agitating the death of Vinod, a large section of PK fans and members of Jana Sena are protesting against Jr NTR’s latest outing Janatha Garage and decided to quit the film.

On other hand, Pawan Kalyan met Vinod’s family and expressed his deepest condolences in Tirupathi. Off the Renigunta airport-Tirupathi road, towards Vinod’s residence, the roads are filled with Pawan Kalyan fans.

It remains to be seen how this move by Pawan Kalyan fans will effect Janatha Garage.
