CM’s Party Is Very Poor!

Share

kejrival

When Arvind Kerjriwal took over as chief minister of Delhi in 2014, the first observations of the political pundits ranged from expecting a quick stretch of Aam Aadmi Party in all states to competing the rooted parties BJP and Congress nationwide. Considering that next round of state elections just around, it would be interesting to see how things will roll out for AAP and its chief.

Aiming to gain some good numbers in Goa and Punjab polls next year, Arvind Kejriwal himself making inroads to majority of constituencies by frequent road shows and public gatherings. Addressing the Scheduled tribe and Schedules Caste members of the party last night, the Delhi CM says, ‘AAP doesn’t have money to fight election and I can show you my bank account too.’

Despite being the head of a sensational Indian party, Kejriwal fails to inherit the characteristics of a conventional political party leader and so, we are seeing such results. One would find it odd to know the status of ruling party in Delhi, AAP.

Overconfidence of Nani?

Share

nani

After scoring hat-trick hits, natural star Nani looks to be filled with confidence or shall we call it overconfidence?

Nani, who delivered a series of disasters, came back strongly with the successes of ‘Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy’, ‘Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gaadha’ and the latest ‘Gentleman’. With this confidence, he has lined up 3-4 films with promising directors.

His immediate release will be ‘Majnu’, a romantic comedy directed by Virinchi Varma of ‘Uyyala Jampala’ fame. Going by the promos, the film looks promising. But, does that mean the film can sustain any kind of competition?

Latest reports suggest that Nani is planning to release ‘Majnu’ for Dussehra. Well, the festival season is already packed with Ram Charan’s much awaited ‘Dhruva’ and Ram’s ‘Hyper’. Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Premam’ is also aiming for the same festival slot. Among such biggies, can Nani’s film get a breathing space? Of course Nani is not a small hero but audiences have already seen two of his films this year. If given a chance, wouldn’t audiences prefer to watch a Ram Charan starrer or Premam for that matter instead of a 3rd Nani starrer this year?

Trade analysts opine that Nani has good market and craze but he must act wisely to not squander his stardom with overconfidence.

Director N Shankar might have been away from the media glare from longtime now. The director of Jai Bolo Telangana was in news last time when he had claimed he would be teaming up with Kamal Haasan. However, it didn’t materialise and Shankar had been away from limelight.

The latest is that Shankar is back in headlines after long hiatus. He has beaten the star producers of film fraternity and bagged the Telugu remake rights of Malayalam super hit Two Countries. The film was one of the most successful Malayalam films and hence there’s a great buzz on its Telugu remake especially after films like Drushyam worked well.

Shankar is going to remake the film in Telugu with Sunil as the star. Apparently, Shankar himself going to direct and produce the film. Like its original, Shankar is planning to shoot the total film in US. The firm’s muhurat is expected to take place soon. Looks like, Sunil doesn’t want to experiment much and wanting to go with a safe bet.

After building much hype surrounding the first look of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s prestigious comeback film Khaidi No 150 and then disappointing the fans by only releasing the film’s pre-look, Mega Power Star Ram Charan revealed some unknown tidbits about the film in a media interaction.

Revealing the reason behind turning producer, Charan said that it was his mother’s dream to see him as a producer and that he had talked to his uncle Allu Aravind, who was supposed to produce the movie initially, and took the responsibilities as a producer.

Charan said that the decision to release even the pre-look was taken in a haste and that an explosive first look of Khaidi No 150 will be released as a Diwali blast. Charan also said that VV Vinayak has wrapped up a majority of the film’s talkie part.

According to Charan, Vinayak has surprisingly completed a cool one and a half hour edited version of the film and only the songs, a few crucial scenes in the second half and a few action sequences are left to be shot in the coming schedule.

Saying that the entire shooting will be wrapped up by October, Charan thrilled the fans by confirming that Khaidi No 150 will be released during the next Sankranthi, adding fuel to the reports that the film may be out in Jan 13th, 2017.

MS Dhoni Movie Gets Threats

Dhoni

Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni’s biopic titled ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ is one of the much awaited films of the year.

The thunderous response from the audiences for the film’s trailer is proof for the craze of the biopic of Dhoni. To cash in on the craze, the filmmakers have decided to dub the film in all the noted regional languages like Telugu, Tamil, Marathi etc. But, it seems that regional political parties in Maharashtra will not let it happen.

Film affairs wing of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), Chitrapat Karmachari Sena (CKS) has objected to the idea of dubbing the Hindi film in Marathi. The regional political outfit opines that dubbing the much awaited Hindi film in Marathi language will pose threat to the regional Marathi films, which are already facing shortage of theatres due to the invasion of Hindi films.

CKS President said that Maharashtra people know Hindi and if they want to see ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’, they could watch it in Hindi. The party asked the producers of ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ not to dub the movie in Marathi or they will protest against the release of the Hindi version as well.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey and starring Sushant Singh Rajput in the titular role, ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ is set to hit theaters on September 30.

Telugu Director Blessed with Triplet

Ashok

Director G Ashok is so elated as he is promoted to new level in personal life today. Ashok has turned father as his wife delivered beautiful babies. What’s more interesting is that he was blessed with a triplet on Tuesday and Ashok was naturally on cloud nine. It’s said that Ashok’s wife gave birth to two baby girls and a baby boy. Doctors have stated that all the babies and the mother are healthy.

Ashok started his career as a child artiste before turning as a choreographer. He even worked as dance assistant and choreographed for over 300 songs and worked under famous dance masters like Raju Sundaram, Lawrence. However, Ashok found his calling for direction and turned into filmmaker.

Ashok made his debut as a director in 2010 with Aakasa Ramanna. However, it’s Nani-starrer Pilla Zamindar with which he shot to fame. While his film with Aadi and Nisha Aggarwal, Sukumarudu, failed miserably, Ashok is now filming a high-budgeted female oriented film Bhagmati with Anushka Shetty in the lead. It’s coincidental that he turned father and blessed with triplet during the making of Bhagmati.

Needless to say that congratulations are pouring in for Ashok.

Babu & Sr Journalist In A Body War

Even as the PIL against Chandrababu’s government in the Supreme Court regarding the ‘injustice’ caused to Amaravati farmers during land acquisition fizzled out in the apex court, the chief architect behind the petition and senior journalist ABK Prasad vows to continue his fight against Babu.

ABK Prasad is fuming on Babu’s furious comments on ABK’s petition and calling ABK a ‘unmadi’ (psycho) has led to a bloody war between the AP CM and the senior journalist. ABK maintained that he is not opposing the capital construction and that he is only opposing Babu’s ways of acquiring lands, discarding the Siva Ramakrishnan committee’s report.

ABK further accused Babu of forming a corporate committee and acquiring the lands in the capital region. Pointing the centralisation of development in Hyderabad, ABK went on to say that Babu is following the similar model and that while Amaravati may see some progress, the rest of the state will not be developed as Babu’s entire attention is centred on Amaravati.

Rebuking the recent media reports that he is an employee at a media house that is vehemently against Babu, ABK said that he only works as a guest columnist and that he has no property and that he has been taking shelter in Chandra Rajeswara Rao old age home for the last 15 years.
