This Friday’s releases are struggling to attract the audiences. Both “Aatadukundam Raa” and “Chuttalabbayi” have received bad talk and thumbs down from the critics.And both the movies are nonstarters at the ticket window. On Day 1, both of them have failed to register 50 percent openings.

Since Aadi has no hit recently and director Veerabhadram’s last film was a disaster, “Chuttalabbayi” has failed to bring the audiences to the theaters in big numbers. Still, the makers claim that the movie has received highest number of openings in Aadi’s career. But the trend is not so bright for the movie. How this film fares over the weekend with such negative talk remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, “Aatadukundam Raa” has collected better collections than “Chuttalabbayi” thanks to Akkineni fans. Still the movie is facing huge hurdle to bring the audiences to the theaters. The movie is targeted for mass audiences. But on day one, it has not attracted them either.

Despite not so good content and bad talk, “Babu Bangaram” has completed its first week run with good numbers.Many factors including luck have benefited this movie’s good run. Since there is no competition and no other big film for audiences to watch, “Babu Bangaram” has posted such collections.

By end of the first the week, the film has reportedly collected Rs 17 Cr share in Telugu states. From Nizam, the movie has collected nearly Rs 6 Cr and 2.53 Cr from Ceded area. Rest of the amount is from Coastal Andhra.Although these figures are good, still it needs another eight crores of rupess to get breakeven. Given major drop in the collections in the last two days, it is hard for it to reach the break even stage.

“Babu Bangaram” starred Venkatesh and Nayanathara. While Venkatesh had done his share of promotion well, heroine Nayanathara didn’t attend any event. The movie is directed by Maruthi.

Most dreaded gangster Nayeem’s links with the political and police circles are being discussed openly in the media. Apart from threatening the city’s rich and famous, Nayeem allegedly made several extortion calls even to a few Tollywood celebrities.Even before public could sink in the news of Nayeem threatening a star heroine and encroaching 6 acres of her land on Hyderabad’s outskirts, a latest report about a star Tollywood producer spending sleepless nights due to fear of death from Nayeem is rattling the film industry.

According to the reports, Nayeem threatened a leading Tollywood producer who produced a film with Pawan Kalyan and warned him to transfer hundreds of crores of assets in the city on his name.The said producer approached the police top brass but they expressed their helplessness. After spending several sleepless nights fearing for his and his family members’ life, the producer mediated with Nayeem and settled the deal by paying the gangster 8.50 crores.

Nayeem also threatened several other Tollywood producers for money and he was also reportedly in talks with a few star directors to produce a film before he contested in 2019 elections as an MLA.

After Nani, Sharwanand is the most happening young hero currently. After scoring back-to-back hits with films like ‘Run Raja Run’, ‘Malli Malli Idhi Raani Roju’ and ‘Express Raja’, he is coming up with a cop drama directed by a debutant Chandra Mohan.

According to recent reports, Sharwa will be getting more remuneration for this film compared to his earlier films. He will be reportedly getting 1 crore along with the overseas rights which costs around 1.6 crores.

So, he will be getting 2.6 crores in total. Hope he scores a hit with this film too and increase his market. Also Lavanya Tripathi will be seen alongside Sharwa in this film.On the other hand, his next film under Dil Raju banner will be going on floors soon.

The debut of power star Pawan Kalyan’s son Akira has been confirmed.It may be noted that Akira had played a small role in his mother Renu Desai’s directorial debut Marathi film ‘Ishq Wala Love’ which released to miserable fate in 2014. After a lot of struggle, Renu Desai successfully sold the Telugu satellite rights of the film to ETV.

Now, the Telugu dubbed version of ‘Ishq Wala Love’ is gearing up to be screened on ETV on September 4. The information has been revealed by Renu herself. It has to be seen if Akira has the knack like Pawan to impress audiences and create his own style.

If she shows interest in films, it will not be a tough task for him to have a mega launch in few years. The charisma of Pawan Kalyan will pave red carpet for him in Tollywood for sure. Let’s see if he has that capability or not.
