Janatha Garage Trailer Storm On Youtube
Jr NTR starrer Janatha Garage has created a storm on Youtube. The makers are very much happy with the amazing response they have received for the theatrical trailer of the film. Upon release of the trailer on Youtube, the trailer has been watched by 30 lakh people so far, and it is still going strong. The makers were also very happy that the jukebox, which has been listened by 10 lakh members already. Mythri Movie Makers is the production house which is bankrolling Janatha Garage. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director. Koratala Siva is the director.
Samantha and Nithya Menen played the female leads in the film. The makers are going to unveil the audio of the movie in the Malayalam language on 20th of this month in Cochin. The film is slated for a release on 2nd September.
Kajal Enters Janatha Garage
Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in to sizzle in a special song for the film Janatha Garage. The hot actress is also going to receive a pretty decent sum as a remuneration for the film. Kajal finally entered the sets of Janatha Garage for the song shoot. Kajal has joined the film sets yesterday, and the film shoot will progress for five days at Ramanaidu Studios in Nanakramguda. The makers are very happy and excited about the final schedule of the film. Koratala Siva is the director. The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
On the other side, the film unit is widely promoting the film with Janatha Garage Challenge name by encouraging the people and fans to grow plants. The film’s audio is already getting a huge response and the film is scheduled for a release on 2nd September.
Baahubali 2 First Look Date Confirmed
Baahubali The Beginning is a big hit on Indian screen. Prabhas, Rana, Anushka, and Tamannah have played the lead roles in the film. ARKA Media works is the production house which bankrolled the project. SS Rajamouli is the director of the film. The makers are currently busy with the shoot of the movie Baahubali The Conclusion. The film unit has already finalized the release date for the second part. Baahubali The Conclusion will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi languages on 28th April 2017. Meanwhile, here is an interesting update about the first look of the film.
The first look of the film will be revealed on October 23rd on the occasion of the lead actor Prabhas’s birthday. Already, in the past for the first part, the makers revealed a special making video of the film for Prabhas birthday and now, they might come up with a first look this year.

After the leaked video of actress Radhika Apte’s nude sex scene from her upcoming film ‘Parched’ went viral on social media, her co-star from the infamous sex scene, Adil Hussain has now raised an important question.Speaking to a leading English daily, Adil Hussian questioned, ‘Why the leaked video is being circulated as ‘Radhika Apte’s Nude Sex Scene’? Why not call it ‘Adil Hussain’s Sex Scene’? As I am also present in the video, why use only her name? Why this discrimination towards actresses? Radhika’s name has been maligned with such derogatory titles’.
‘Sex scenes in films are very common in western countries but it still is a taboo in India. In the patriarchal society in our country, it is not big news if a man takes part in sex but it will be chaos if an actress does the same,’ added the acclaimed actor.
The leaked video is currently going viral on whatsapp and other social media platforms. It is yet to find out who leaked the scene. This is the second time Radhika fell prey to a sex scandal. Last year, her full frontal nude pictures from a short film made for Hollywood audiences were leaked.
Nani Growing Big!
Probably, Nani is the only hero these days to score 4 hits in a row within one and half year. It all started with ‘Evade Subramanyam’ and there was no looking back for Nani from then. His movies started to get amazing response in overseas as well.
His ‘Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy’ gained 1.5 million overseas. His last two films ‘Krishnagaadi Veera Premagaadha’ and ‘Gentleman’ too collected nearly one million each. As Nani’s films offer variety compared to other heroes, his films started to get good hype. KV Adding ‘Extra’ Glamour
Director Krishna Vamsi is doing all the right things to generate buzz on his new film Nakshatram. The Sundeep Kishan starrer film has Regina Cassandra and Prakash Raj playing important roles.Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej will be seen in a cameo as a cop which is going to be the biggest asset for the film. Tej has already joined the unit yesterday. Currently, shooting is progressing in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
Kannada star Sudeep of Eega and Baahubali fame has been roped in to play an important role. Seems like, few well-known artistes from all the southern industries are part of this film which would be helpful for the makers to dub and release it in other languages.The latest to join the star cast is Pragya Jaiswal, the slender beauty who stole everyone’s hearts with Kanche, who will play the role of a fiery cop. With such padding of artistes, Nakshatram will surely raise expectations.
Nakshatram is an ambitious project for Krishna Vamsi as it’s been a long time since he delivered a hit. Actress Regina Cassandra, who has good popularity in the Telugu and Tamil film industries, has hit headlines for backing out from her promise of walking at a fashion event held in Chennai, after her demand for hefty money was not met.
Going into details, the organizers of the recently held Madras Bridal Fashion Show in Chennai have approached Regina to walk the ramp at the event as a show-stopper. Sources revealed that the actress had earlier agreed to make an appearance for free. But, she reportedly backed out at the last minute when the organizers couldn’t arrange the amount she had demanded.Even though the organizers offered to gift her the show-stopper outfit, Regina was adamant about the sum she had quoted. Interestingly, Regina walked the ramp on the second day of the Fashion Show for another designer, of course after they had paid her a good sum.
Reportedly, The organizers felt that Regina has no respect for given word and only cares for money. They expressed their resentment at the actress saying that they would have opted for another actress if she hadn’t accepted their proposal in the first place. Her backing out at the last minute has caused them irreparable damage.
Credit Card Fraud: 6 Lakh Stolen from Actress
Hot Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri has become the victim of credit card fraud as someone has stolen her card and transacted as much as Rs. 6 lakh using it.The actress was initially unaware that her credit card went missing. She found out only after she received a message stating that a transaction of $9,062 took place using her card. The message startled the actress as she had not made any transaction and she immediately lodged a complaint with the Mumbai police.
It is suspected that the transaction might have been committed outside India since the transacted amount is in dollars. Police have sought the help of cyber crime department to ascertain the location where the transaction took place.
This credit card issue has struck the hottie just days after her alleged break up with Uday Chopra. Few days ago, she had left for New York leaving the promotions of ‘Azhar’ as she was hurt with the unexpected break up. She has recently returned from the US to start the promotions of her upcoming Bollywood film, ‘Banjo’. It is very sad to see that she had to face another unfortunate incident post her return to India.
Tanden is co-chair of Hillary team
Indian-American Neera Tanden was on Tuesday named co-chair of the transition team of Hillary Clinton. The transition team usually prepares an incoming President to take over the reins the day he or she is sworn in.The U.S. administration has a large number of political appointees. The new President will have to appoint not only Cabinet members but also fill nearly 4000 posts at various levels. The transition team organises these efforts.
Ms. Tanden, slated to occupy a Cabinet position should Ms. Clinton win the presidency, was a member of the Democratic platform committee. She had been part of Ms. Clinton’s campaign in 2008 and then worked at Mr. Obama’s White House. She is now president of the Centre for American Progress, a Democratic-leaning think tank in Washington D.C.During a recent conversation with The Hindu, Ms. Tanden had said that unlike Donald Trump, Ms. Clinton was “welcoming of all to the table and that includes Indian-Americans, other South Asians”.
Ken Salazar, former Interior Secretary, is the chairman of the team. Former national security adviser Tom Donilon, former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm and Ms. Clinton’s 2008 campaign manager Maggie Williams are the other co-chairs.
China reaching out to Bhutan as part of new South Asia policy
China has signalled its intent to establish diplomatic ties with Bhutan, adding another dimension to its evolving South Asia policy, which has already included a deeper engagement with Nepal, as part of Beijing’s One Belt One Road (OBOR) initiative.Soon after his return from New Delhi, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with visiting Bhutanese counterpart Damcho Dorji on Monday. Xinhua news agency paraphrased Mr. Wang’s remarks as saying that “the early establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Bhutan confirms the common interests of countries, benefiting regional stability and development”.
Chinese scholars, however, caution that given India’s unrivalled influence in Thimpu, China’s diplomatic ties with Bhutan can only be established with New Delhi’s concurrence. “If it happens, it would mean that the trust level between China and India has risen appreciably,” says Long Xingchun, Director of Center of India Studies, China West Normal University, in a conversation with The Hindu.China’s diplomatic outreach to Bhutan converged with the arrival in Beijing of Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Nepal’s Deputy Prime Minister for Finance, as the special envoy of the newly appointed Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, popularly known as Prachanda.
Balancing ties
Analysts say the arrival of Mr. Mahara will test Nepal’s policy of dual engagement—balancing ties with Beijing and New Delhi. Mr. Mahara’s visit precedes the proposed outing to India by Bimelandra Nidhi, a Deputy Prime Minister for Home Affairs, also as the Nepali Prime Minister’s special envoy.The symbolism of balancing ties is also likely to be expressed through an invitation to President Pranab Mukherjee for a visit to Nepal.
Ahead of his arrival, Mr. Mahara, who belongs to the CPN (Maoist Centre) party, underscored that Nepal was seeking a “balanced relationship” with China and India. “We want to have cordial and balanced relationship with both of our neighbouring countries. We expect goodwill and support from our neighbours in our socio-economic development, prosperity and political stability.”Santosh Ghimire, foreign correspondent with the Kathmandu-based Annapurna Post, told The Hindu that “a consensus has now emerged among rival political parties on maintaining a balanced relationship with India and China”.
Mr. Mahara highlighted that there would be no disruption in the implementation of agreements signed with China by the previous government of K.P. Sharma Oli—an assurance that has soothed anxieties in Beijing. “This government will sincerely implement the bilateral deals on transit, connectivity, trade, commerce reached between the two countries during the erstwhile government. We want to take bilateral relationship to a new high by implementing those deals,” he observed.
Asia diplomacy
In March, President Xi Jinping had proposed a harmonisation of Nepal’s reconstruction and development plan with China’s 13th five-year plan within the framework of the OBOR. The Chinese President said he visualised Nepal as “a bridge between China and India”.In tune with China’s high-octane Asian diplomacy, the Chinese leadership is set to receive Myanmar’s State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi in Beijing on Wednesday. The state-run Global Times has noted that ahead of the visit, Myanmar has appointed a special committee on the stalled China-backed Myitsone dam project.
Google launches Duo to take on Apple’s FaceTime, Skype
Tech giant Google has launched its video calling app, Google Duo, for Android and iOS users, which will compete with apps like FaceTime and Skype.The video calling app, which was first announced by Google three months ago at its I/O developer conference, aims to take the “complexity out of video calling“.
“Video calling is the next best thing to being with someone in person. We have designed the interface to be simple, easy and welcoming. In places like India, it has been designed to adapt to the network connectivity conditions. We hope to make the experience of video calling more personal, inviting easy and smooth,” Google Group Product Manager Amit Fulay said in a statement.
The rollout of Duo for Android and iOS starts today, and it will be live worldwide in the next few days. To ensure privacy and security, all Duo calls are end-to-end encrypted.Duo allows users to connect using their phone number without a separate username/account.
Google has introduced a new feature ‘Knock Knock’ that allows people to see live video of the caller before they answer, helping users connect with the person even before they even pick up.“Duo has been built to be fast and reliable, so that video calls connect quickly and work well even on slower networks.
Call quality adjusts to changing network conditions to keep you connected when bandwidth is limited, Duo will gracefully reduce the resolution to keep the call going smoothly,” Google said.For video calls on the go, Duo can switch between Wi-Fi and cellular data automatically without dropping the call.
Countdown begins for Cybathlon
Even as the Rio Olympics fever runs its course, athletes around the world are preparing for a competition of a different kind — Cybathlon 2016 — which will see amputees using prosthetic limbs to perform daily tasks that we take for granted, such as pouring themselves coffee or easing into a chair. An Indian team too, trained and supported by Riselegs, a Bengaluru-based organisation that specialises in devising prosthetic legs and mobility devices made of cane, will participate.
Happening for the first time, Cybathlon, set to begin in Zurich on October 8 this year, will host 74 athletes from 25 countries. They will participate in competitions that cut across six disciplines: brain computer interface, powered arm, powered leg races, powered exoskeleton and wheelchair race. Unlike the Paralympics, the Cybathlon looks for excellence and innovation in the way of interfacing the human and the robotic components. Not surprising then that it has been called the Cyborg Olympics.
Riselegs is training two athletes, Prajwal and Nagesh, selected from applications from amputees across the country, to take part in the powered leg discipline.Each requires a different type of training, with Prajwal being a bodybuilder and Nagesh an IT professional. This is being taken care of by Rohan George Mathews, who is a volunteer member with Riselegs. The training includes carefully monitoring the athletes’ nutrition, diet and includes psychological counselling.
Arun Cherian, the founder of Riselegs, is a mechanical engineer-turned-inventor. Having specialised in exoskeletal suits, which are powered suits worn by amputees, having components that perform the role of muscles and help flux the artificial limbs, Mr. Cherian was struck by the pliability, strength and springy nature of cane. He has proceeded to innovatively use it to develop prosthetic legs and powered wheelchairs.
The Riselegs prosthetics are certainly competitive when it comes to cost, for when most of the other teams participating in the Cybathlon are using kits that cost about Rs. 40 lakh, theirs run into a few thousands of rupees.“There are two kinds of prosthetic legs. One that supports high [for example, sport] activity and the other for everyday use,” he says, stressing on the versatility of cane.Mr. Cherian has invented mobility devices using cane, including custom prosthetic legs and sports wheelchairs. Currently the devices are being tested in clinical trials by St. John’s hospital, Bengaluru, and Christian Medical College, Vellore, which are expected to end in about a month.
