Even though the film’s shooting began only during the release of his recent release, Gentleman, Nani’s Majnu has surprised everyone by releasing the film’s first look poster and the visual teaser at a jet speed.
Not stopping here, the makers went on to state that Majnu will make it to the theaters on September 17, ensuring Nani’s third release of this year. The teaser has generated a huge positive buzz for the film.
Now, in a surprising twist, young hero Raj Tarun is said to be essaying a special cameo in Majnu towards the film’s climax. Apparently, Raj Tarun’s role will be a hilarious one and will completely change the proceedings towards the film’s climax.
The fact that Raj Tarun was the lead hero in Majnu’s director Virinchi Varma’s debut film Uyyala Jampala has pulled off this cameo coup for Majnu. Producer-distributor Dil Raju has snapped the theatrical rights of Telugu dubbed version of filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s upcoming Tamil romantic drama “Kaatru Veliyidai”, which stars Karthi in the lead.
“Producer Raju has acquired the rights of the Telugu dubbed version of ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’ for a fancy price. He had also bought the rights of Mani Ratnam’s last outing ‘Ok Kanmani’ and released it in Telugu as ‘Ok Bangaram’,” a source told IANS.
The source revealed that producer Bandla Ganesh had originally planned to acquire the rights.
“Ganesh was ready to pay much more than what was quoted by original makers. However, since Ratnam had previously worked with Raju, and was happy with their association, he sold the rights to Raju,” he said.
Also starring Aditi Rao Hydari, the film’s music has been given by A.R Rahman.
While Karthi plays a pilot in the film, Aditi plays a doctor.
Talented director Krish’s latest movie Gautami Putra Satakarni has been evincing a lot of interest among the audiences not just because it happens to be the 100th film of Nandamuri Balakrishna, but also because of its historical significance. Krish is desperate to release this high budget film on coming Sankranti.
Normally, any such mega venture would take considerable time for completion. Unless every technician is given complete freedom, the output will not be extraordinary. That is precisely why Rajamouli had taken his own time to complete films like Baahubali and Magadheera.
But Krish wants to finish off the film at the earliest and is bringing pressure on his team to speed up the works. That is one of the reasons why music director Devi Sri Prasad dropped out of the movie. Since there are no other star music directors to replace DSP. Krish has engaged Chirantan Bhat, who did music for his earlier film Kanche.
Everybody is of the view that Krish should take his own time to complete Satakarni and think of releasing the movie only after he is fully satisfied about the product. But, surprisingly nobody knows why he is in such a hurry to complete such a gigantic project within six months and release it on Sankranti. Only he has the answer.
With several non-resident Indians (NRI), especially from the US, complaining to the Cyberabad East police that their banking details were accessed by fraudsters by phishing, police have issued an advisory on Saturday urging citizens not to share passwords on email chats.
“After taking the email account into their control, hackers are selectively sending mails and also communicating on Gmail chat to persons in the contact list of the hacked Gmail accounts.
“The hackers, during the chat, are making persons in the contact list (most of them relatives and friends) to believe that, due to technical reasons, their bank accounts are frozen and they are unable to draw money and requesting them to share their net banking details such as account number, user ID and password, so that, they can draw money abroad,” Cyberabad East commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat said in the release.
