Alluri Seetharamaraju Prequel with Gautham?
Superstar Mahesh Babu’s son Gautham, who made his acting debut in Mahesh starrer ‘Nenokkadine’, is gearing up to make his debut in full-fledged role.
As per latest reports, senior writer Nadiminti Narasinga Rao, who provided story for films like Gulabi and Anaganaga Oka Roju, has now written a story based on the situations that inspired Telugu freedom fighter Alluri Sitharamaraju to take up the cause of Independence. He seems to have done enough research on Alluri’s childhood to come up with an emotional and hard hitting story. He couldn’t think of anyone else but Gautham to play the young Alluri in this prequel to Superstar Krishna’s iconic patriotic film ‘Alluri Seetharamaraju’.
Nadiminti has reportedly met Mahesh and Krishna to narrate the story and ask their approval to cast Gautham as young Alluri. The father-son duo is yet to take a call on this. If they give their consent, the prequel of ‘Alluri Seetharamaraju’, with the title ‘Sriramaraju’ will be the debut of Gautham in lead role.
Ghattamaneni fans are eagerly waiting for the good news.
Varun Tej To Decide After Premam Release
Mega hero Varun Tej is on signing spree. The young actor is simultaneously shooting for Srinu Vaitla directing film Mister and Sekhar Kammula’s Fidaa. Latest we heard is he is in talks for yet another film.
Director Chandoo Mondeti whose debut directorial Karthikeya was a big hit and his new film Premam starring Naga Chaitanya is set for release in next month has narrated a story to Varun Tej. Apparently, Varun will make his decision after release of Premam.
Although Varun Tej is doing films one after the other, he is watchful about scripts of his films. He kept Mister on hold until Srinu Vaitla made needful alterations to the script. Varun rejected few films in the meantime, mainly because of his dissatisfaction towards the scripts.
Likewise, Varun Tej is choosy about directors too, since he doesn’t want to take any risks at this stage. The ‘Mukunda’ star is typically picking experienced directors who have the abilities to provide him hits.
In fact, Varun Tej is not worried about fate of Premam, he wishes to see how the director Chandoo handles the subject and the hero.
On the flip side, Chandoo Mondeti who has become one of the most sought after directors with Karthikeya is hoping to score second hit with Premam. Let’s see whether he gets nod from Varun Tej!

Sreenu Vaitla Chasing Young Hero?
Post disasters Aagadu, Bruce Lee, director Sreenu Vaitla is going through rough phase. Though he managed to start his next Mister with Varun Tej and currently shooting for the film, the film has been in news for wrong reasons since its inception. The latest is that the film is moving on at snail pace.
As he is walking a tight rope, Vaitla is now after energetic hero Ram with whom he had delivered a super hit Ready which was eventually remade in Hindi with Salman Khan. Considering the bond with Ram, Vaitla is after Ram who is now on success track with Nenu Sailaja.

Instant mobile connections with Aadhaar under e-KYC service
Indian mobile users with Aadhaar cards can now skip complex paperwork required to acquire SIM after new guidelines were issued under the government’s electronic-Know Your Customer (e-KYC) initiative on Tuesday.In a statement released by Department of Telecommunications (DOT), it pointed out that the ‘Aadhaar’ e-KYC would replace the existing PoI/ PoA document based processes. The process would help users in hassle-free acquirement of SIMs.
It said: “In the e-KYC service, customers will online authorise UIDAI through Aadhaar authentication using Aadhaar number and biometrics to provide his/her demographic data, along with his/her photograph to licensees.”The procedure to acquire mobile connection would become significantly simpler as service providers would be able to provide these services through various mediums including agents, distributors, and employees.
According to reports, Bharti Airtel has planned to roll out the Aadhaar-based e-KYC solution this week. Other companies such as Vodafone India and Idea also plan to rollout the new Aadhaar-based SIM acquisition system in the upcoming weeks.With the implementation of this process, several problems can be resolved. Customers can acquire SIMs earlier than before. The current process involving documents also cause significant delay at times as the process involved takes time.
The most important benefit of introducing Aadhaar-based process might see an end to selling of illegal SIM cards.
Asus Zenfone 3 India launch live stream: How to watch ‘Z3nvolution’ event on PC
Taiwanese consumer electronics major Asus is scheduled to launch the company’s new generation smartphone Zenfone 3 series in New Delhi on Wednesday.The company has announced that Zenfone 3 launch programme – “Z3nvolution” will be telecast live online with 360-degree view option. The event will kick-off at 4:00 p.m. on Aug. 17.
“As a brand, we strive to bring innovative approaches to our product launches. 360-degree live streaming for Z3nvolution helps us reach our potential audience who could be located anywhere in the world. It also provides the consumers a chance to be a part of the actual live event with 360-degree visual access, guaranteeing a premium experience to every single person,” Marcel Campos, marketing director – Mobile Division, Asus India, said in a statement.
Asus Zenfone 3 series was originally unveiled in late May at Computex in Taipei. It comes in three models — a generic Zenfone 3, a top-end Zenfone 3 Deluxe and a phablet Zenfone 3 Ultra. All the specification details are in the public domain, but details in regard to price and variants the company intends to launch are yet to be ascertained.
For the uninitiated, the top-end Zenfone 3 Deluxe model bound for India is said to come with superior Snapdragon 821 SoC (System-on-Chip). It is said to be faster and 10 percent more powerful than the Snapdragon 820 processor found in current crop of flagship phones, which includes LG G5, Samsung Galaxy S7 series and HTC 10, among others.
Besides the top-notch processor, it boasts state-of-art camera hardware as well. Zenfone 3 Ultra flaunts a massive 6.88-inch full HD screen and comes packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core CPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage and to power the mammoth display, the company has incorporated a high-capacity 4,600mAh battery. It also features the same camera hardware as seen in the Deluxe model.

Actress Pragya Jaiswal, who made scintillating debut with acclaimed film ‘Kanche’, has got the chance to romance another mega hero. She is romancing with Sai Dharam Tej, and they will get married on screen for the movie Nakshatram. Actress Pragya Jaiswal will be seen as a wife of Sai Dharam Tej in Nakshatram.
Creative director Krishna Vamsi, who is currently making a film titled ‘Nakshatram’ starring Sundeep Kishan and Regina Cassandra, has roped in Pragya to essay a pivotal role. We have already reported that mega hero Sai Dharam Tej will be seen in a crucial role, playing a police officer, in this film.

Post Bengal Tiger, we did not see Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja doing a new film. Almost three to four proposals came in, and a couple of the films appeared to be materializing. But all of a sudden everything was canceled. But the latest buzz from the sources close to Ravi Teja reveals that he might be teaming up with K S Ravindra who made Power. K S Ravindra has already narrated the script for his next film, and Ravi Teja immensely liked it. Apparently, it was learnt that the film would be a Korean remake.
A Korean film has really impressed Ravi Teja and Ravindra K S. Hence, they have decided to take it forward in Telugu. The pre-production and script work is in progress. An official announcement on the same would be made shortly.
