The bonding of director Koratala Siva and Mythri Movie Makers is getting stronger day by day. As the ace writer-director shares great camaraderie with the producers Naveen, Ravi and Mohan, the latest is that Siva will be working with Mythri again. Apparently, Siva too has good comfort with the producers and hence he too is keen on doing another film for Mythri.Talk is that Mythri, Siva are going to team up for third film soon after their present film Janatha Garage. However, it’s not clear whether it’ll be Siva’s immediate film or he’d do another film in between this.

“Siva is good director with paying attention to minute details. And he’s proven writer. Above all, he is producer’s director. Though he has good resources around and producers willing to splurge by arranging whatever he asks for movie making, Siva is strict on budget spends. This is what makes him producer’s director,” divulged an industry source who has closely watched Siva’s work.

Meanwhile, talk is that Siva and Mythri would be joining hands for Superstar Mahesh Babu film. Even Mahesh has raved about Srimanthudu combination recently during the 1 year completion of the film. If all goes well, this may go onto floors after Mahesh-Murugadoss film. Let’s wait and see.

One year back, milky beauty Tamanna is left with no offers except ‘Baahubali’. But the success of the film changed her fate and she got flooded with offers. Now, she is again left with no films in her hand.

After ‘Bengal Tiger’ and ‘Oopiri’, Tamanna is not seen in Tollywood. She got more offers in Tamil films. Her latest film ‘Dharma Durai’ with Vijay Sethupati will be releasing this Friday. Also, Vishal’s ‘Kathi Sandai’ is going to hit the screens on 29th October. Her trilingual horror film ‘Abhinetri’ is expected on October 7th. Her film with Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh turned to be just an advertisement.

Though she is a part of ‘Baahubali-The Conclusion’, she won’t be having a meaty role in the film. With this, Tamanna is left with zero films in her kitty. Let us wait and see what happens next.

After the miserable failure of “Orange,” young hero from mega camp Ram Charan Teja has stopped doing love stories and started focussing on mass movies. Though they clicked initially, doing such routine movies has had its impact on his career.While heroes who did films that appeal to all sections of audiences are able to go up the ladder in their career, Charan is forced to look for pros and cons for every film. After Govindudu Andarivadele and Bruce Lee, Charan has changed his strategies and thoughts.

He has apparently decided to bank on stories and try for experimental concepts, rather than mass masala movies. In the process, he doesn’t want to get disheartened even if there are a couple of flops; but do love stories.It is learnt after Dhruva being made by Sukumar, Charan has okayed two more love stories. At present, the directors of these films are in the process of finalising the scripts.

One of them is said to be Merlapaka Gandhi, director of Express Raja. If the films turn out to be unexpected successes, there won’t be any looking back for Charan!

Mahesh Babu’s next film is surely one of the hottest upcoming projects among the trade. Directed by Murugadoss and made on a high budget close to 100 crore, this film is attracting buyers from all corners.As per the buzz, makers of this mega budget commercial entertainer have been quoting exorbitant price for the distribution rights.For example, producers are expecting 25 crore for the overseas rights of this bilingual. Yes, if the buzz is to be believed, producers have quoted 25 crore for overseas rights for both the versions.

Buyers are willing to buy it for 15 crore, but producers are not willing to come down as they believe that this film has the potential to do $ 5 Million business in both the languages.Overseas distributors like to bet on Mahesh, but they are not banking on Murugadoss as his films don’t perform that well in this territory. Even Murugadoss’ Kathi did not set the cash registers ringing in overseas.

It will be pretty hard to recover 25 crore with the Telugu version itself. So, Tamil version also should be a blockbuster for the buyers to recover that price.Mahesh’s previous film Brahmotsavam was bought for 13 crore which left the buyers in agony. 25 crore seems a far cry considering all these facts. Let’s see who will dare to gamble on it.

Vikram is a talent and hardworking actor. He tries to bring in some new element in his films. But unfortunately, he is not able to get the results in tune with his hard work. After the tremendous success of Aparichutudu, Vikram could not get any result of that range. But now, he is once again going to present innovation in his own style.

In this film, Vikram is playing the role of a transgender villain. The trailer looks very promising, but it is too premature to assess whether it is going to fetch him huge success or not. It may be mentioned that the trailer of Vikram’s earlier movie “I” directed by Shankar also raised a lot of expectations of the audiences, but ultimately, it ended up as a disaster.

Even award committees did not acknowledge the difficulties faced by Vikram in doing “I.” Normally, such a flop would plunge the hero into depression, but Vikram took it very sportively and did not deviate from his style. Hard work always pays. Let us see whether this saying would prove right in case of Vikram.

Diwali festival this year is going to be a rather interesting one with the respective films of real life brothers Suriya and Karthi set for a gigantic clash.Director Hari of Suriya’s ‘Singam 3’ has many a times reiterated that the action entertainer will hit screens for Diwali 2016. Through the first look poster of Karthi’s upcoming experimental thriller ‘Kashmora’, makers have announced that this film will also have Diwali release. Will the brothers really clash or one opts for another date to allow safe passage for the other?

‘Kashmora’ is being made on a budget of Rs 60 crore, which is way over Karthi’s box office potential. Positive word of mouth and a solid festival release can only recover such huge investment. So, there is no way makers of Kashmora back out from Diwali race.The theatrical business of ‘Singam 3’ has already been closed. Since makers promised it would be a Diwali release, distributors invested heavily on this much awaited action entertainer. So, even if Suriya wants to back out, he will have to face anguish of distributors.

Trade analysts hope that the unavoidable clash is not good for either of the two films.
