Senior Telugu film writer Vijayendra Prasad, who garnered nationwide recognition by providing stories for blockbusters ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, has revealed that he is working on the biopic of Tenzing Norgay.

We have seen biopics of several athletes but here comes the biopic of the man, who was the first person to scale the Mount Everest. Norgay also scaled several other peaks during his career. Vijayaendra Prasad revealed that he is writing a script to bring Norgay’s life onto the silver screen. It will be a big budget adventure film.

‘I am also writing sequels for ‘Nayak’ (the Hindi remake of Arjun’s ‘Oke Okkadu’), Rowdy Rathore (remake of Vikramarkudu) and a story about the life of a man affected during the Babri Masjid demolition. I have many other storylines in mind, and several stars are in touch with me asking for scripts,’ added Prasad.

Currently, entire Tollywood is waiting for the audio launch of ‘Janatha Garage’. This is the first big Telugu film after ‘Brahmotsavam’. There is a lot of hype over this film. As the audio release is getting closer, the makers are releasing new posters every day.

Most of the posters portray NTR in an intense look. We know that NTR will be seen as an IIT student in this film along with Samantha and Nitya Menon. Teaser suggests that he enters Mohanlal’s Janatha Garage and start repairing the society. The reason behind an IIT graduate turning into a rowdy forms the crux of the story. We have seen many films with which run on similar lines. Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Shiva’ was the first film to start this trend.

But, narration plays the crucial role any film’s success. We’ve seen many films with routine content becoming hit because of its fresh treatment. Hope ‘Janatha Garage’ which had intense posters, shows the same intensity in the film too and becomes a blockbuster.

After her maiden movie Oka Manasu turned out to be disaster, Niharika Konidela has become more choosy. Though she’s getting several offers, Niharika is wisely selecting her projects. While she has agreed to do be part of the Telugu remake of Punjabi thriller, she even okayed to do another film with a newcomer director. After listening to an impressive story by debutante Karthik, Niharika has given her nod to do the film.

The big news is that the film’s lead actor has been finalised. And it’s none other than Pelli Choopulu hero Vijay Devarakonda. Niharika is going to romance with Vijay. While there’s no clue on who’s going to produce the film, reports have it that the film would be bankrolled by Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt, daughters of producer Ashwini Dutt.

Looks like, crazy combination is on cards. Let’s hope Niharika will be second-time lucky.

Sai Dharam Tej is emerging as one of the most successful heroes in Tollywood. Interestingly, he is providing break to flop directors. AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary was going through lean phase with flops, before he took up Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitam. The film had become big hit. Tej then worked with another flop director Harish Shankar for Subramanyam For Sale which was also commercially successful movie.

Anil Ravipudi is the only hit director with whom Sai Dharam Tej worked for Supreme. The Dil Raju produced movie was biggest hit in Tej’s career. The young hero is currently awaiting the release of Thikka which will grace theaters on 13th of this month.Thikka is also directed by a flop maker Suneel Reddy whose debut directorial Om 3D was a debacle at box office.

In fact, script is the only thing that pleases Tej, rather than successful directors. Moreover, he has good knowledge in judging scripts like his uncle megastar Chiranjeevi.Above all, Sai Dharam Tej is gaining fans for each new film he is doing. His market range is ever-increasing. Buzz is sky high on Thikka. And if this film clicks at box office, then there will be no stopping for Tej to join big league.

We often come across trolls who go to any lengths to show their audacity while trolling celebrities on social media. While such trolling become a bit nasty at times, there are also a few people whose trolling is harmless, innocent and laughable.In one such funny incident, an aspiring filmmaker and follower of comedian Sampoornesh Babu went on to tweet to the Burning Star saying that he will five story ideas to Sampoo and that the films can be made with just a few lakhs while the profits will be nearly 1,000 crores.

While the young filmmaker’s proposal is indeed funny, Sampoo’s counter to him was even funnier. The Burning Star replied, “1000 rupaayilu isthaanu…mundhu koti rupayilu vachaka…aa tarvatha mee idea prakaram chedhaam”.

The said aspiring filmmaker must have understood Sampoo’s counter and he has didn’t reply to Sampoo again. Apart from Sampoo, the man made the similar proposal to Rajamouli, Baahubali producers and several other film stars.

Sirish has just dubbed for these newly added portions.

Allu Sirish’s work wasn’t restricted for shooting and dubbing parts, he had involved in other crafts too. In an interview, Sirish told that, he didn’t like deletion of few sequences, but he didn’t object as he was fully surrendered to his director Parasuram.The film Srirastu Subhamastu is doing strong business at box office. In fact, the film leads in this week’s latest arrivals to big screens. Addition of new scenes will be helpful for repeated audiences to theaters.

If things go as per plan, audiences can witness the magic of Sridevi and Salman Khan as mother and son.Veteran actress Sridevi, who has made a strong comeback to silver screen with ‘English Vinglish’, didn’t grab offers at will and waited patiently for right scripts. After a long deliberation, she chose to play a queen in Vijay starrer ‘Puli’ but the film turned a disaster. The nuisance created by Sridevi over remuneration even after the movie turned disaster, spoiled her reputation and kept South filmmakers away from her.

But, Salman Khan seems to be looking to give her a chance of playing his on-screen mother. Recently, Salman was impressed the story of a mother and son. Although Sridevi is not approached yet, Salman’s coterie believes no one would dare to reject an offer made by Salman Khan, even if it was Sridevi.

It will be a great combination to watch out for.

Nandamuri Balakrishna and the team of ‘Gauthamiputra Sathakarni’, who are making strenuous efforts to bring the historical film into theaters at any cost for Sankranthi, have received a rude shock from film’s composer Devi Sri Prasad.

As per the inside talk, Devi Sri has not yet recorded a single song for the film. As he is busy with multiple Telugu and Tamil projects including ‘Janatha Garage’ and Megastar’s 150th film, he continued to postpone the work of GPS. Film’s director Krish is heard to have requested Devi to compose the songs at the earliest so that they can finish the shoot on time.

But, as Devi asked for more time, Krish is heard to have decided to sideline him and rope in another musician. Balayya is heard to have very angry about this whole nuisance created by Devi which can hamper the film’s release for Sankranthi. Director Krish is trying to rope in maestro Ilayaraja or Keeravani for Gauthamiputra Satakarna.

Dusky siren Regina Cassandra has pledged to donate her beautiful eyes.

After inaugurating a corporate hospital in Nellore, Regina appealed to people to donate their eyes to provide vision to several people who were either born blind or lost eyes in accidents. On the eve, she pledged to donate her eyes and even signed the concerned papers.

Nellore mayor Ajeez, MLAs Anil and Sreedhar Reddy have also attended the event. Fans came in big number to have a glance at Regina. She had a thorough look at the various departments in the hospital and praised the hospital’s management for incorporating world-class facilities.

The legendary actor is essaying the role of a lawyer affected with Bi-Polar Disorder in the movie. Taapsee is playing one of the three women who were arrested by police on the charge of ‘attempt to murder’. The three women were accused of trying to murder few men, but the girls claim they were just protecting themselves when the men tried to sexually assault them.

The courtroom drama promises to be a riveting thriller. Bachchan’s performance, fierce look and the mysterious mask he wears add an extra edge to this mystery thriller. Taapsee also promised a power-packed performance. The film highlights the burning issue of ‘sexual assault on women & how Law helps them.’ Produced by Shoojit Sircar, Pink will have its release on September 16.
