High Court’s Shock To KCR

In a major embarrassment, the High Court has suspended the Government Order issued by Telangana CM KCR’s government for the long pending appointment of Vice Chancellors to eight universities.
The two member judges of the High Court bench ordered the government to stop the recruitment immediately as the case is pending in the courts for the last two years. The judges expressed anger over the sole decision by KCR’s government for issuing of orders without court permission.
There is a strong criticism that Telangana government recruited Vice Chancellors who have already retired from their service and some of them are even affiliated to political organisations.Interestingly, the new VCs took charge even before the orders were issued two days ago.
