Veteran director Kodanda Rami Reddy who directed several blockbuster films with Chiranjeevi in the past, retired many years ago. The comments he made at a Public event about Chiranjeevi’s Prestigious 150th film created a huge uproar in media. Back then, he said people would laugh if Chiranjeevi goes on saying he would do something for farmers in the film.

“It was not intentional. All I wanted to say that a comedy and romantic entertainer will work for him rather than a message oriented film. But the comment was blown out of proportion by the media which made me feel bad. I have very good relation with Mega family and I personally apologize Chiranjeevi garu, VV Vinayak and Ramcharan for my words. All the best for the whole team,” Kodanda Rami Reddy said.

Pokemon Go has become an international sensation overnight with the young and old alike getting hooked to it. Apart from reports of a few mishaps, including gamers falling off cliffs while playing the game, mobile phone battery has become an issue. The game eats up the battery life, forcing people to stop in the middle of the adventure.

Gamers can turn to power banks and battery case for alternative but it is not very convenient to carry them around. So, here are five simple steps to save battery life of your device and play Pokemon Go for longer time:

1) Pokemon Go battery saver: The game has battery saver feature, so one can turn it on by going to settings on top right of the screen. The handset will turn black when it is hold upside down but vibration will alert users when something new happens.

2) Turn off augmented reality (AR): The background will turn dull when AR is turned off but it reduces consumption of battery tremendously and makes the task of catching Pokemon easier. To turn off AR, go to the upper right corner of the screen when a Pokemon appears.

3) Phone battery saver: It is a good way to save battery but it will limit location services, which means one may come across lesser number of PokeStops and Pokemon. To enable this feature on Android devices, go to Settings > Battery > Battery saver, and for iPhone, go to Settings > Battery > Low Power Mode.

4) Display: Reducing the brightness of the screen is a simple way to safe battery. To adjust brightness of your phone screen, go to Settings > Display.

5) Disable features: Gamers can turn off music, sound effects and vibration if their devices are running out of battery. One can do so by tapping the Poke Ball and then Settings on top right.

Nintendo’s Pokemon Go was released in the United States, Australia and New Zealand on July 6 before spreading to the UK, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Canada. It is expected to be released in about 200 countries, including India, very soon. The popular augmented reality mobile game is compatible only to Android and iOS devices.

North Korea test-fires three ballistic missiles

Share

North Korea test-fired three ballistic missiles on Tuesday, in further defiance of the international community and in apparent reaction to the planned deployment of a U.S. defence system in the South. The launches drew swift condemnation from the United States and Japan, who vowed a coordinated response to Pyongyang’s repeated violations of U.N. sanctions that bar it from weapons tests.

They come as North Korea’s isolation deepens after it said this month it was severing all diplomatic channels with the US.
Two SCUD missiles flew between 500 and 600 kilometres (310-370 miles) into the Sea of Japan, while a third, believed to beRodong intermediate range ballistic missile, was fired about an hour later. The trajectory of the Rodong missile was still being analysed, spokesman Jeon Ha-Kyu of Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said.

The SCUD missiles’ range is such that they could strike anywhere within South Korea, the military said, adding that the latest tests were presumed to be linked to the North’s recent threats.Pyongyang last week said it would take “physical action” after Washington and Seoul announced the deployment of a sophisticated U.S. anti-missile defence system.

The announcement of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system, or THAAD, was prompted by a series of missile launches this year that analysts say demonstrate that the North is making progress toward being able to strike the US mainland.Another military source said that the SCUD missiles would likely be Pyongyang’s weapon of choice if it were to target places like Seongju, where the THAAD system will be deployed.

“We strongly condemn this and North Korea’s other recent missile tests, which violate UN Security Council Resolutions explicitly prohibiting North Korea’s launches using ballistic missile technology,” Pentagon spokesman Gary Ross said.”We intend to raise our concerns at the UN to bolster international resolve in holding the DPRK [North Korea] accountable for these provocative actions,” Mr. Ross said.

Japanese Defence Minister Gen Nakatani said the latest launches “compromise peace and safety of the region, including Japan”.”The Japanese government will strengthen cooperation with related countries, namely the United States and South Korea, and strongly urges North Korea to exercise self-restraint, while preparing for any contingencies,” he said.
