BJP Decides To Remain A Tail Piece Of TDP?
The Bharatiya Janata Party appears to have decided to remain content with playing second fiddle to the Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh and be its tail piece, rather than growing into an independent and alternative political force in the state.It was evident from the way the BJP national leaders have been competing with one another in singing paens for TDP president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
While BJP national president Amit Shah is understood to have told the party leaders from AP not to get into confrontation with Naidu and not to admit any TDP leaders into the party, one union minister after the other has started showering praises on Naidu.The latest example is Unoin Energy Minister Piyush Goel, who declared that he had never seen any chief minster as dynamic and hyperactive as Chandrababu Naidu.
He went on to declare that Naidu was a task master and would not sleep till he gets the best for the state. This was really embarrassing to local BJP leaders like Somu Veerraju, who have been going hammer and tongs against the corruption in Naidu regime.
Earlier, other union ministers like Nirmala Sitaraman, Smriti Irani, Nitin Gadkari and J P Nadda and of course, Venkaiah Naidu had come to Andhra Pradesh and showered encomiums on the dynamism of Naidu. If that is the stand taken by the central BJP leadership, what can the BJP leaders back home like Kavuri Sambasiva Rao, Daggubati Purandeshwari and Kanna Lakshminarayana do?It is better they look for alternative political platforms at the earliest!
World’s First Kabali Show in USA
The gangster drama is all set for huge release across India in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages on July 22. However, much before the film hits screens in India, it will release in several countries in the western part of the world. As per latest reports, the foremost show of ‘Kabali’ will be screened in the US on 21st itself.
As per India time, the first show of Kabali will be screened at 11 AM on 21st July in the US, which is almost 20 hours ahead of film’s release in India. Kabali is releasing in as many as 400 screens across the US.Audiences are waiting with bated breaths to watch the gangster avatar of Rajini in this stylish film.
Allari Naresh To Don Director’s Hat
Sudden Star Allari Naresh made his debut with the film Allari. Allari Naresh is seen as an actor in so many films so far, and he also completed 50 films. His father who is a director always wanted Naresh to be a director. Hence, Allari Naresh is now making plans to turns director soon. He is going to make his directional debut in a couple of years. Allari Naresh revealed that he becoming a director, it was his father’s (Filmmaker EVV Satyanarayana) dream.

The shoot of this film started silently in Hyderabad a couple of days back. The tentative title for the movie is Bhagmati. The makers are in talks to change the title of this movie. Due to some reasons, Anushka is over weighted now. She is now concentrating more on getting slim to fit the cop role.
Hit banner UV Productions is producing this movie. Ashok G is the director. This is mostly a female oriented movie, and the genre will be a thriller. Cop and thriller is a rare combination in Telugu. Hope it will work out well.
Sunil Risking, But Has No Option
Comedy hero Sunil is going through lean phase and is finding difficulty in releasing his upcoming film Jakkanna. Sunil keeps high hopes on this Vamsi Krishna Akella directed film made on highest budget in his career. Biggest problem for Sunil and his Jakkanna film makers is they postponed the film few times in search of non-competition zone for release which is unfeasible for them every-time.
Finally, Jakkanna release date is locked to 29th of this month, exactly a week after the theatrical outing of superstar Rajinikanth starrer highly anticipated flick Kabali. It is risky move by Jakkanna, but they don’t have any other option.In next two months several biggies like Babu Bangaram, Janatha Garage, Premam etc are releasing and moreover it will be financial burden for Jakkanna makers, if the release is further delayed.
At one stage they thought of releasing Jakkanna for 22nd, with news of Kabali postponed to 29th. Since the Pa Ranjith directorial is gracing theaters on initially planned date, Jakkanna is postponed by a week. Fortunately for Jakkanna, no big film will be releasing for at least two weeks until Babu Bangaram arrives on August 12th.
Why Such Negativity On Tollywood Stars?
Film stars often become soft targets for the media who lambast the stars for unnecessary and injudicious reasons. In a latest instance, a section of media is ridiculing all the senior and junior Tollywood stars who have been participating in Telangana CM KCR’s ambitious Haritha Haram plantation project.
Several attacking reports are doing the rounds in the media which condemn these Tollywood stars’ soft corner for Hyderabad and their “yes, sir” attitude towards KCR and other Telangana leaders.These media reports accused the Tollywood stars, who are predominantly from Andhra, of joining hands with KCR only because they are scared of KCR and that they are siding with KCR only to protect their lands and assets in and around Hyderabad.
These were the same stars and there were many other stars too who chipped in and stood in support for Vizag when the entire city was devastated by the Hud Hud cyclone in October 2014.Stars taking part in noble causes should be seen as a good deed and should not be seen negatively as their participation will encourage millions of their fans too to participate in social welfare activities.
‘Gadapa Gadapaki’ Flop Show By YSRCP
With all his strategies to corner his arch rival and Andhra Pradesh’s CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu failing show any impact, YSRCP’s President YS Jagan kick-started yet another desperate campaign in the form of ‘Gadapa Gadapaki’.Through ‘Gadapa Gadapaki’, Jagan and his party leaders planned to step in each threshold in Andhra Pradesh propagate Chandrababu’s failures as a CM and make people aware of the scams committed by Babu & Co.
However, Jagan’s ambitious ‘Gadapa Gadapaki’ has turned out to be an utter flop show by Jagan & Co. The program was launched on July 8 on the occasion of YSR birth anniversary.On the first day, several YSRCP leaders visited a few households and distributed pamphlets featuring 100 points that explains Babu’s election promises and his failures keeping his promises. Since then, the YSRCP leaders took a break and handed over the baton to their cadres to continue ‘Gadapa Gadapaki’.
These cadres are lazing around and have already given up visiting each household and thus Jagan’s ambitious program ended up as a flop venture by his own party members.

Bollywood Costume designer for Gautamiputra Satakarani
The makers of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Prestigious 100th film, Gautamiputra Satakarani have roped in India’s best costume designer and three times National Awards winner Neetu Lulla to design the costumes in the film. Neetu Lulla is working closely and dedicatedly with director Krish, cameraman Gnanashekar VS and Art department crew to create the costume designs in right texture and color.
She also took up a wide research studying on art and culture prevailed during Satavahana times of 78 to 100 AD. She is very soon joining hands with world’s best jewelry makers to sketch the authentic model samples and preparing jewels. Gautamiputra Satakarani is currently being canned in Georgia.
The climax sequences of the film are being canned there. The makers are shooting non-stop for the film so as to make sure the movie releases on January 12th, 2017 release as Sankranthi Special. The recently released first look poster of the film is greeted to good response and increased hype on the film.
