Remember the cute actress Shweta Basu Prasad, who was arrested in a sex scandal?

After making super hit debut with ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’, Shweta went on to act in several Telugu and other southern films, but she couldn’t score any big hit owing to her poor choices. Later, the actress was arrested and subsequently acquitted in the prostitution racket in Hyderabad.

After her acquittal, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap had offered her script consultant job at his production company, Phantom Films. Now, we hear that cute actress has found her soul-mate. Shweta Basu is currently dating a budding Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Mittal, whom she met at Anurag Kashyap’s office. The duo is said to be dating since February this year.

It seems that both her professional and personal life is progressing on a happy note. Shweta had earned accolades as a child actress in ‘Makdee’ and Nagesh Kukunoor’s Iqbal.

Going by the latest reports from the film industry, we hear that another actor from Daggubati family is getting ready to test his luck in Telugu film industry. The actor is none other than Daggubati Abhiram, the son of popular producer Suresh Babu and brother of Rana. This looks really very interesting, but nothing was confirmed now. The film will be directed by senior director Vamsy. Madhura Sreedhar Reddy is expected to produce the film.

Director Vamsy is planning the sequel for super hit film Ladies Tailor and the film have been tentatively titled as Fashion Designer S/O Ladies Tailor. The makers considered Raj Tarun for the lead role in the beginning but later changed their mind. The sequel is based on the life of Rajendra Prasad’s son, and Abhiram will be seen as a fashion designer. Rajendra Prasad also plays an important role.

Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej’s Thikka is currently in the last leg of its shoot. They are currently shooting the item song in the film. Farah Karimaee who made her Bollywood debut in Himesh Reshammiya’s ‘Tera Suroor 2’ movie, is shaking her booty for the song which goes like ‘Rap Chic Rap Chic…Thoda Thoda Bam Chic’. Prem Rakshit is composing steps for this song.

The First Look Teaser of the film will be released for tomorrow while the audio release event of the movie is being planned for July 30th. The movie will be releasing on August 13th as Independence day Special. Thikka is being directed by Om 3D fame Sunil Reddy and it also comes with a caption ‘Handle with Care’. It is interesting to note that Sai Dharam Tej has given a chance to Sunil Reddy despite a disastrous debut directorial, Om 3D.

Mumaith Khan will be seen in an important role in the movie. Foreign Model, Larissa Bonesi is playing the female lead in this film. Mannara Chopra is the other heroine. Thaman is composing music for the film. Sai Dharam Tej recently made a hattrick of success with his Summer release, Supreme being the biggest hit of his career.

Mega Princess Niharika Konidela is back in the news again after the debacle of her debut film Oka Manasu. Niharika has got a good name for her performance in the film, but the film ended as a big flop. The actress is now in confusion as to what should be taken as next step. There were several rumors that Niharika is going back to short films and web series but it looks like there is no truth in such news and Niharika will be doing in an interesting film.

Looks like she will be starring in the remake of a Marathi film “Happy Journey”, a movie that deals with the relation of a brother and sister. This film is said to be an interesting one as there is so many interesting elements in the plot. Bekkam Venugopal is trying to bankroll this project. A sister who loves her brother very much never gets to see him in life, and she turns ghost after her sudden death.
