Dhanush’s most ambitious project Vada Chennai finally went on floors in last month after numerous delays and several changes in casting. For this film, mass hero Vijay Sethupathi of Pizza and Nenu Rowdy Ne fame is being considered for main antagonist role.Both Dhanush and Vijay Sethupathi are very good friends. It may be mentioned here that, Dhanush was the producer for Nenu Rowdy Ne Tamil version which was a big hit there. Therefore, Vijay may not reject the proposal, opine analysts.

Vada Chennai is a gangster trilogy film to be made as three parts. For the reason that, villain is essential and will have almost equal importance that of protagonist, the makers want a talented and popular actor.

Initially, Rangam fame Jiiva was approached for the role, but the actor refused with a fear of getting negative image. He certainly never played a character with negative shades previously.If Vijay Sethupathy comes on board for the film, the prospects will be multiplied. Directed by Vetrimaaran, Vada Chennai has Amala Paul playing female lead opposite Dhanush.

Looks like Ram Charan is giving full authorities in entire making of his upcoming film Dhruva to Surender Reddy, since he accepted for the director’s request of including less number of songs. They feel forceful inclusion of songs will disturb the film’s flow.The film Dhruva will have only three songs in total, unlike regular formulaic Telugu commercial cinema which will at least have 5 to 6 songs. Interestingly, the film’s original version Thani Oruvan contained 5 songs, including a theme track.

A local court in Muzaffarpur heard a cheating case which was booked against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, actress Anushka Sharma, film director Ali Zafar Abbas and the makers of the latest blockbuster SultanA man named Mohammad Sabir Ansari filed a case in the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s court alleging that Salman Khan, Sultan’s hero, had promised to give him Rs 20 crore as royalty for making Sultan based on his life.

Ansari revealed that he had narrated his life story to Salman Khan in Mumbai in 2010 and that Salman promised to offer him Rs 20 crores if a film was made based on his story. The film released on Eid and has been declared a blockbuster hit as it has collected nearly 220 crores.

The case has been transferred to the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class and the next hearing will be on July 26, 2016. Sections of 420, 406, 504 and 506 were leveled against the Sultan team.
