Tejaswini Nandamuri, daughter of Nandamuri Balakrishna completes her MBA at Santaclara University in California, United States. Tejaswini has been accompanied by her dad Balakrishna, mom Vasundhara Devi and hubby Sri Bharath, while receiving the degree.
Balakrishna is overjoyed and would be feeling proud for his two daughters. While the younger daughter Tejaswini has completed her MBA, his elder daughter Brahmani Nara is looking after her family business.
Apparently, Brahmani is quite animated for her sister and shared a candid picture where the younger one is seen kissed affectionately by her dad and hubby. “Congratulations on your graduation little sister! You’re so lucky to be celebrating this milestone with near & dear,” she posted on social blogging site.
Siddhu In The House Next Door
Young hero Siddharth too much experimented in recent times. Although very few gave him positive results, many others have bombed at box office. His last movies Kaaviya Thalaivan, Enakkul Oruvan, Aranmanai 2 and Jil Jung Juk were commercial failures. Irrespective of results, Siddharth is signing films one after the other.
Siddharth is presently starring in an untitled Tamil flick being helmed by Sashi and will next be teaming up with director Karthik Krish for Saithaan Ka Bachha. The talented actor has now signed a trilingual project to be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi simultaneously. The film is titled as The House Next Door.
Directed by Milind Rau, the movie will be bankrolled by Siddharth’s Etaki Entertainment in association with Viacom18. Andrea Jeremiah is finalized as leading heroine. The movie is expected to have great casts from all this three film industries. It will start rolling from August.Sunder C directed Something Something was the last Telugu straight film from Siddharth and he is making comeback to Telugu screens after three years with The House Next Door. The title hints that, the film is going to be a horror thriller.
Don’t Underestimate Telugu Audience
Tollywood hunk Rana Daggupati is currently working on 4-5 films. Few months back, he was approached for acting in remake of a Tamil film. Rana was impressed by the original but felt that it would not impress Telugu audience and rejected it. But now, the dubbing version of that film became a blockbuster here.
Yes, we are talking about Vijay Anthony’s ‘Bichagaadu’.
After getting rejected by Rana, the makers have sold the dubbing rights for 50 lakhs. The film started off slowly but the word of mouth publicity made the film a blockbuster. It collected over 10 crores leaving the producers and distributors on cloud nine.If the movie would have remade here, though success cannot be assured, it would have remained as one of the special films in Rana’s career.
Syria: Twin suicide, car blasts claim 8 lives in Damascus suburb
Amman: At least eight people were killed and scores wounded in twin suicide and car bomb blasts on Saturday in a Damascus suburb that contains Syria’s holiest Shi’ite Muslim shrine, state television said.State media, which flashed the news, did not give further details about the bombings in the Sayeda Zeinab area, where at least three bomb attacks claimed by Islamic State militants have killed and injured scores of people this year.
A Shi’ite religious cleric on the state-run Ikhbariyah TV channel said the car bomb blast was not far from the shrine area in the main al-Taen street. The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the death toll was at least nine. The heavily garrisoned area is a well known stronghold of Lebanon’s powerful Shi’ite Hezbollah group, a major backer of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Thousands of Iraqi and Afghan Shi’ite militia recruits who volunteer to fight against the Sunni rebel groups trying to bring down Assad’s government normally come to the area before being sent to frontlines across Syria. They say they come to Syria to defend the Sayeda Zeinab shrine from radical Sunni extremists.
Chiru Rejects Sonia’s Request?
While the AP Congress Committee fell into deep trouble with the lack of a capable leadership, the party’s senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP K Chiranjeevi declined AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi’s request to take over the party’s cudgels in Andhra Pradesh . Discussions in political circles are rampant that in the wake of the intensified agitation by the Kapu community for BC reservation under the leadership of Mudragada Padmanabham, the party’s high command asked Chiranjeevi to assume the AP CHIEF post and step into takeover the party’s reigns.
Sources said that since the film star turned political leader hailed form the same Kapu community, the party is of the view that it is the right time to revive the Congress party in the state and also project Chiranjeevi as a mass leader by exploiting the present situation.
But, Chiranjeevi is not keen on plunging into the top slot at this moment as he is occupied with his much hyped 150th film’s shooting which will begin soon. He informed Sonia Gandhi that he would join the party activities actively only after the release of his film in 2017.
The Milkman Of Telangana
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has yet again surprised Telangana people by announcing another scheme. This time, he projected himself as milkman of telangana and aimed to solve the increasing burden of purchasing milk at higher prices for poor families.
KCR announced two milking cows would be distributed to every family benefited under the two bed room scheme. Initially, the cattle would be supplied free of cost to all two bed room households in KCR’s adopted village Erravelli in his native Medak district.
Later, the scheme would be extended to all other villages where the beneficiaries are provided cattle at highly subsidized prices. KCR announced this new scheme during his visit to the adopted village. With his latest move, no doubt that KCR has paved a golden path for winning the masses’ trust before the 2019 elections.
Traditional Look: Gopichand In Oxygen
Here’s the new look of Tollywood’s macho man Gopichand-starrer Oxygen. Oxygen is being directed by AM Jothi Krishna, son of senior producer AM Ratnam who produced blockbusters like Khushi, Bharateeyudu, Oke Okkadu and Gentleman etc. Oxygen stars Raashi Khanna as the female lead.
Oxygen is completing its shoot swiftly and it will release in cinemas later this summer.

Akkineni Nagarjuna who is basking on the hat trick hits will next be working with senior director K Raghavendra Rao for a devotional film Baba Hathi Ram Ji, a biopic on the godman Hathi Ram Baba who was a great devotee of lord Venkateswara. The movie is likely to go on floors soon.
Latest we heard is popular Hindi TV actor Sourabh Raaj Jain will play lord Venkateswara in the flick. The TV artist is popular for his devotional roles in TV serials such as- Jai Shri Krishna and Mahabharat where he played Lord Sri Krishna. He played the role of Lord Vishnu in Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev. Hence, it is right choice for picking Sourabh for the role of Lord Balaji.
Earlier there were reports that, yesteryear actor Suman will portray the Lord Balaji role. Nonetheless, latest reports suggest that, young actor Sourabh Raaj has replaced him for the role. JK Bharavi, known for the films Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu, is writing the script for Baba Hathi Ram Ji.Baba Hathi Ram was a north Indian settled down in Tirupati. The godman used to worship the main deity daily and many myths say that Lord Balaji himself used to play dice with Baba. Baba had also constructed a mutt near the temple.
Trivikram Next To Rajamouli
The hilarious family entertainer A Aa (Anasuya Ramalingam Vs Anand Vihari) directed by Trivikram Srinivas is already biggest hit in hero Nithin’s career. So, the question is who should be given credit for this success- hero Nithin, million dollar actress Samantha or successful director Trivikram Srinivas?
Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde that minted around Rs 22 cr shares was previous highest grosser for Nithin. Later, the young hero starred in few films which all provided losses to producers. The film A Aa has given him much needed break. Moreover, it has opened market for him in overseas.
Although Nithin has played his part precisely, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu dominated the show with bubbly and energetic performance. Samantha is sometimes called as million dollar baby, since she has more million dollar collecting films than any other actress in south. Coming to A Aa, she gets more marks in acting category.
But, the success credit should be given to director Trivikram Srinivas for providing a pure family entertainer and scoring blockbuster hit with medium range star. Directors like Rajamouli, VV Vinayak, Boyapati Sreenu etc have their own considerable market value, irrespective of range of stars in their film. Now, Trivikram Srinivas also joins the league with A Aa.Producer S Radhakrishna should also be appreciated for making meaningful films under his production house.
