TDP to Shock Modi Through Congress?
Last week, the well known and close aide of the late YSR, KVP Ramachandra Rao, the Rajya Sabha MP from Congress had moved a Private Bill regarding the Special Status of Andhra Pradesh. The main opposition party in Parliament is keen to have a voting for this bill.
In case, if the voting becomes imminent, TDP is reportedly planning to vote in favour of this bill thereby sending a strong and hard hitting signal to the BJP led Union government. This would even serve to send a message to the people of AP that TDP doesn’t compromise on the state’s interests.
This will definitely pile up more pressure on the central government. The discussions on the bill wasn’t complete even now. The discussion resumed on Monday and if the member who actually introduced the bill asks for it then the house has to go for voting.
Congress has the required majority in Rajya Sabha to get this bill passed. Sources say that voting may happen next Friday. If the bill actually passes in Rajya Sabha, it may become a big embarrassment for Modi & Co! We have to see how the whole thing will be sorted out.
Allagadda Alludu for KCR?
Pratyusha was in news a year ago when she was allegedly tortured by her father and step-mother. She was then adopted by none other than the Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. She was then sent to girls’ hostel. This gesture from him was hailed by many at that time.
She had dinner with KCR as well as his family members few days ago and also passed her Inter exams successfully. She later informed officials that she would be soon joining the B Sc (Nursing) course for her career. It turned out to be an inspiration for many others.
But now sources say that Pratyusha more or less has given a shock to the Chief Minister. She reportedly told the officials that she is no longer interested in education and that she prefers to get married. She is reportedly in love with a guy and expressed that she wants to marry him.
Since KCR had assured of getting her married, Pratyusha is expecting the Chief Minister to help her. When KCR asked officials to know about the boy’s whereabouts they found out that he is from Allagadda in Kurnool district and is employed at an automobile shop in Hyderabad.
12,000 Crore Investment in AP
In what is considered as one of the biggest investment deals, the government of Andhra Pradesh has inked an MOU with a UAE based company for a whopping Rs 12,000 Crore investment. The firm is going to invest the amount in healthcare and tourism in the state.
After signing the MOU, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu shared, “AP Govt & BRS Ventures of AbuDhabi inked an MoU for investments worth Rs 12K Cr in healthcare & tourism in the state.”
Naidu shared his vision for the state with the corporate tycoons in the recent Maritime India Summit and gave an open call for the investors into the truncated state. Describing AP as the gateway of opportunities, he said that the new state will flourish soon and turn out as hub of growth & development.
Baahubali Takes Prabhas Into The Elite List
Young Rebel Star Prabhas has become pan-India actor, after the release of Baahubali: The Beginning that minted over Rs 650 crore gross worldwide. Prabhas has signed few new endorsements and is flooded with offers in Bollywood. Nonetheless, he is not interested to venture into Bollywood at this point of time.
Now, Prabhas is the new entrant in Times Of India’s Most Desirable Men list. He is ranked 13th, while superstar Mahesh Babu and tall hunk Rana Daggubati are placed at 6th and 11th respectively. Interestingly, Tollywood’s top actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan didn’t get place in the top 50 list, wherein his nephew Ram Charan is ranked 38th.

Will You Walk Along My Tsunami: Trivikram Asks PK Fans
During the audio launch function of his latest film A..Aa, writer-director Trivikram gave an inspiring introduction about his close friend Power Star Pawan Kalyan and showed his love for Pawan in the form of a poem which was received with a thunderous response.
In his words, Trivikram said that Pawan is like a mountain that never bows to anyone and a wave that never stops for anyone. The ‘matala mantrikudu’ then described Pawan as his tsunami, his hidden army, his weapon to fight the enemy and a raindrop that came down to touch everyone’s heart.
Trivikram then asked all the ecstatic fans, who are already floored by his rousing speech, if they are ready to walk along with Pawan Kalyan. One wonders if Trivikram was referring to Pawan’s political aspirations and is encouraging fans to walk along his footsteps and support him in his endeavors.
International Actor in Gautamiputra Satakarni
International actor Kabir Bedi might have recently hit the headlines for marrying his girlfriend Praveen Dusanj (41) on his 70th birthday and might be in news as his daughter Pooja Bedia expressed her dissent openly on her father’s fourth marriage, but the latest is that the actor has bagged a significant role in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s landmark film Gautamiputra Satakarni.
Kabir is well-known in Italy and even fluent in Italian. He is popular face in Bollywood and among TV audiences. He enthralled audiences as emperor Shah Jahan in Taj Mahal: The Eternal Love Story, a 2005 historical drama. Roping in him for a crucial role in GPSK, it’s evident that Krish wants to play a big game.
This comes after Hema Malini has been cast as Rajamatha Gautami.As per the unit sources, Kabir is joining the shoot in Morocco and participate in the battle scenes.
‘Mega’ competition for Rajinikanth
Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali First Look Teaser released couple of days ago and the response is just mindblowing. Suddenly the movie is a hot cake in the trade. The makers are planning June first or second week release for the movie. The audio release event later this month will kick-start the promotions.
On the other side, Rajinikanth may have a surprising competitor from Mega family. Its none other than Nagababu’s daughter, Niharika Konidela with her debut movie, Oka Manasu opposite Naga Shourya. The movie is also being planned for release on June 3rd or June 10th.
We will have to see if she stays in race or make way for Rajinikanth Directed by Ramaraju of ‘Mallela Therram lo Sirimalli Puvvu’ fame, Oka Manasu is a joint production of Madhura Sreedhar and TV9. Niharika is already popular with Telugu people after she hosted couple of TV shows. She is hoping to make it big in films as well with this movie touted to be a romantic entertainer.
Mega Hero’s Two releases in Two months
Supreme Mega Hero Sai Dharam Tej’s next film, Supreme is all set for a grand release this Thursday. The movie is carrying good expectations as Sai Dharam Tej had gained the reputation of being a minimum guarantee hero. Besides Supreme, Sai Dharam Tej has another project, Thikka under production.
Interesting update is that Thikka is nearing completion and only 10 days of shooting is left to be complete. The movie may be released in July which means Sai Dharam Tej will have two releases in two months. Thikka is being directed by Om 3D fame Sunil Reddy and it also comes with a caption ‘Handle with Care’.
It is interesting to note that Sai Dharam Tej has given a chance to Sunil Reddy despite a disastrous debut directorial, Om 3D. Mumaith Khan will be seen in an important role in the movie. Foreign Model, Larissa Bonesi is playing the female lead in this film. Thaman is composing music for the film.
One more Bollywood addition to 2.0
Superstar Rajinikanth and Sensational director Shankar’s 2.0 is getting bigger and bigger. We have already seen him picking up Akshay Kumar to play the main villain in the film. And now he brought in talented Hindi actor, Adil Hussain will be doing a key role in the film.
Adil is the same actor who played Sridevi’s husband in her come back film English Vinglish. The movie shooting is currently on at Tharamani Film City where few crucial scenes on Rajinikanth are being canned. After this schedule, the team will shoot scenes on Akshay Kumar for 10 days at the EVP, Tiruvottiyur and a few other locations until June 3.
Few leaked images of the film show Akshay Kumar playing negative role will be seen in a different avatar resembling a crow. According to reliable sources, the movie is titled ‘Chitti 2.0’ in Telugu and the title is also registered with the Film Chamber.
The movie is being shot in 3D made with top technicians from all over the globe making it a complete world class film. Amy Jackson is the female lead. The movie will be costing a whopping 350 Crore according to an estimate.
Mega scion targets Overseas audience now!
Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej got a recognition for himself in mass audience and Mega fans partly with his talent and partly with his ‘usage’ of Mega Brand like remix of Megastar songs and Pawan Kalyan references. Now the actor is targeting Overseas audience as well with his Thursday release, Supreme.
Supreme is releasing in close to 80 screens in the USA. This is the biggest release for Sai Dharam Tej till date in Overseas. Sai Dharam Tej is hopeful of making it big at the box office with this film. The makers have opted for Thursday release to milk Summer holidays and to maintain gap from Suriya’s 24.
Supreme has the distinction of being sold out completely even before the shooting is complete. Abhishek Picture purchased the negative rights of the film for a fancy amount. Raashi Khanna is the heroine in the film and she plays a cop in the film. The movie comes with a caption, ‘Don’t Sound Horn’ and will see Sai Dharam Tej playing the role of a cab driver.
Kajal Risking In Pay-Back To Director
Kajal has not stepped down from top league yet, but she is adding more flops to her film list these days. And now she is taking risk at wrong time for paying back a director who made her what she is today, in a way!Rumor says, Kajal Aggarwal has signed a movie to pair opposite small time hero with no big hits, Sandeep Kishan’s Nakshatram.
Kajal is said to have joined the movie just for the sake of Krishna Vamsi, who gave her the ‘Chandamama’ a huge hit and later ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’ an average one. Usually, star heroine of Kajal’s range think twice to pair opposite small heroes, otherwise if it is for remuneration like Samantha singed for Bellamkonda Srinivas.
But Kajal seems to be in a mood to help Krishna Vamsi and her presence can make enough buzz to project the film as a big one. It takes sometime to find if this Nakshatram pulls Krishna Vamsi and Sandeep Kishan onto hit track or pulls Kajal down to small movies!
