It is known news that the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary while speaking to the media at the Parliament has revealed that central government feels there is no need for any Special Status to Andhra Pradesh. This has sent shockwaves in AP.He again reminded how 14th Finance Commission hasn’t recommended Special Status to any new state apart from the existing ones.

He added that Center is already helping Andhra Pradesh with special assistance and some tax incentives. It must be said that this is quite a paltry support.The minister stated that Center is committed to duly reimburse the revenue deficit of the state for the first year as assured by the 14th Finance Commission. Well this being the stance of BJP led Central government, it is important to see what our netas are going to do.

With all their repeated requests to the KCR government to clear their long pending bills going down the drain, the private hospitals JAC in Telangana has decided to boycott the Aarogyasri facilities in all the hospitals across the state starting from today.The Telangana government is yet to clear the bills amounting to Rs. 350 crores to several private hospitals in the region over the past 9 months.

Meanwhile, the Aarogyasri Trust CEO Dr. M. Chandrasekhar has requested the private hospitals JAC to continue their services without causing any disturbances to patients.The CEO also assured that payments to all the hospitals under the Aarogyasri network have been processed as promised and the the money will be debited to their accounts on Monday.

“An amount of Rs.191 crore will be released by the Aarogyasri Trust soon and the balance amount too will be released within the next few days,” said the CEO.

T-TDP always aspired to be the main opposition party in Telangana and it started on right note after KCR’s TRS came to power. Firebrand leader Revanth Reddy started firing on all cylinders and aided by senior leaders it started taking on the ruling party.However as days passed by,going got difficult thanks to CM KCR’s operation akarsh and the reverses in the elections. Many senior leaders left the party and even Revanth Reddy was caught redhanded in note for vote scam.

In the midst of all this Kukatpally MLA,Madhavaram Krishna Rao who won on TDP ticket but joined TRS made shocking allegations. He said Revanth Reddy is the destroyer of TDP in Telangana.

He said Revanth Reddy is interested only in personal benefits rather than the development of the party.He said Revanth Reddy doesn’t need any protection responding to Revanth Reddy approaching High Court fearing for life.

Now that former MP M V Mysoora Reddy has stepped out of the YSR Congress party, he is learnt to have decided to revive the movement for separate Rayalaseema State to get back into political limelight.Mysoora is an intellectual politician and does a lot of study on people’s issues. At present, he is said to be engaged in digging out statistics to explain the backwardness of Rayalaseema and how it is going to suffer in the hands of Andhra rulers in the coming years after the bifurcation of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.

He is also preparing an action plan to relaunch the Seema agitation.However, it is not sure how much support he would get from the other political parties in his agitation for separate Rayalaseema. There are quite a few political and independent activists to support his agitation, but the political parties are not prepared to take part in the agitation, for the simple reason that it would not fetch any political mileage for them.

Nobody would be willing to rule the State with just four districts. At the most, they can come forward to fight for the allround development of the region and a special package for the same.Moreover, the agitation requires a lot of financial support, which no industrialist or political party is willing to bear. And it is going to be a long-drawn struggle.

So, it is not known how long Mysoora can sustain this movement, since he has lost credibility among the people with his frequent defections. He might as well dump it once he gets political rehabilitation, say analysts.

As if the ongoing defections of his party MLAs to the ruling TDP in AP aren’t enough, the YSRCP president YS Jagan is in for a fresh shock and this time from Telangana. According to the latest reports, YSRCP’s Telangana president and Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy is all set to join TRS today.

Ponguleti will be meeting his constituency’s prominent leaders, close associates and his cadre today to discuss his future plans before he joins the pink brigade. Not stopping with this, the party’s Vinapaka MLA Payam Venkateswarlu is also rumoured to be joining TRS very soon.

Ponguleti’s move comes in as a huge shocker to Jagan particularly when he recently announced his Save Delta maha deeksha against KCR’s move to divert the Krishna and Godavari waters to three Telangana districts. With Ponguleti and Venkateswarlu bidding adieu to Jagan, the YSRCP is all set to lose its presence in Telangana’s political scene.

Looks like there’s no end to Kakinada DTC Adimoolam Mohan’s corruption. The ACB officials who raided various properties belonging to Mohan are shellshocked with the way he diverted his illegal assets to his benami companies spread across the twin Telugu states and in Karnataka. According to the latest reports, Mohan’s disproportionate assets now amount to Rs. 1,000 crores.

When the ACB officials began their raids on Mohan’s properties on Thursday, they valued his illegal assets to the tune of Rs.350 crores. Soon when the investigating officials dug deep into Mohan’s properties, the count began increasing to Rs.500 to 800 crores and finally tallied up to Rs 1,000 crores until the latest update.

With the investigators taking Mohan’s benami Mallikarjun Goud in Nellore yesterday, more information about the DTC’s fraudulent companies is expected to come into light. Mallikarjun Goud is the right hand to Mohan and he oversees all the financial dealings for the DTC in three states.

Mohan founded several benami companies on his daughters Saisri and Sai Teja’s names and even bought several properties in his wife’s hometown Bellary. Mohan also duped several banks in the process and Punjab National Bank in Lakdi Ka Pul (1 cr), Federal Bank (2 cr), Allahabad Bank in Himayat Nagar (2 cr), Punjab National Bank n Abids (2 cr), Karur Vysya Bank and PNB in RP Road (4 CR) are the banks he has defaulted after taking loans through his benami companies.
