Unofficially, Chiranjeevi’s 150th milestone film is into pre production works with Tamil hit film ‘Kaththi’ Telugu remake in direction of VV Vinayak. In fact, Mega Star waited for so long time hearing the scripts and stories from a wide variety of writers and directors but he was unimpressed with all of them. Finally, ‘Kaththi’ is analyzed as the best subject for Chiranjeevi comeback and when Vinayak came forward to take up the responsibilities, the burden was halved for Mega camp.

If reports are to be believed, Vinayak and Ramcharan are now looking into finalization of star cast for the film. Nayanathara is heard to be the frontrunner for heroine character and Chiru is also very much in acceptance with the same name. Having understood the scarcity of heroines which Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and other veterans are facing, Mega camp hasn’t got much of options open.

Nayanathara can be a perfect mix of glamour and performance to make it an apt pairing besides Chiru. With a bit of romantic chemistry needed between lead pair, Vinayak would be happy to see Nayan getting in because he also had the experience of dealing her in past hit films.

Lavanya Tripathi will be seen in a saree-clad avatar throughout the coarse of her upcoming flick ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’. Our ‘Andala Rakshasi’ Beauty wasn’t accustomed to wearing such traditional clothes, So its always a daunting task for her.

Sharing her experience on the sets, The former Miss Uttarakhand comments: ‘I don’t know whether I look good or not in a saree, but Supriya (Annapurna Studios executive director & Pawan’s debut heroine) insisted I must wear them at any cost. Not less than an hour was spent to wear a saree’ .

After shot to fame with Kumari 21F, there’s no looking back for Hebah Patel. Hebah, who is awaiting for the release of NTR-Rakul’s Nannaku Prematho in which she did a significant cameo, has signed another film on the dotted line. Hebah will be teaming up with hero Nikhil in his up next film.

The movie directed by VI Anand, has Avika Gor in another female lead. Interestingly both Avika and Hebah were paired opposite Raj Tarun in Uyyala, Cinema Choopistha Mava and Kumari 21F respectively. Now both Avika, Hebah will be seen alongside Nikhil.

Though the names of Taapsee, Catherine did the rounds earlier, latest buzz has it that they’re out of the project. Apparently dates and remunerations could possibly the reason. Now the makers are hunting for another heroine to rope in opposite Nikhil.

Meanwhile, Nikhil is prepping to act in the sequel of Karthikeya which was a sleeper hit in 2014. The film also stars Swathi and will have direction by Chandoo Mondeti. Post the debacle of Sankarabharanam, Nikhil is keen on scoring success with these two flicks and leaving no stone unturned.

Athithi Devo Bhava, the campaign initiated by Government’s Incredible India for promotion of Indian Tourism had Aamir Khan’s face as major attraction in TV channels and other forms of media advertisements. As Bollywood Star’s intolerance remarks sparked a new controversy, now he is no longer going to be a part of tourism campaign.

McCann Worldwide is the agency which roped Aamir Khan into Athithi Devo Bhava by hiring him on a contractual job. As the contract with McCann is expired by now, this means Aamir Khan is no more the mascot for campaign. Ministry of Tourism has also clarified the same expressing the disconnection with Star Hero who was actually into this brand ambassadorship during the last UPA regime.

Though Aamir Khan’s controversial comments on perceived intolerance may not be the reason behind his absence in Athithi Devo Bhava, it’s the lapse in contract which should make McCann to hunt a new face. Union Tourism Ministry will look for a new celebrity to replace Aamir Khan.

Bollywood megastar, Amitabh Bachchan, also the brand ambassador of Gujarat Tourism is reportedly the next face of Incredible India according to sources.

On Thursday, from the reports of Union Ministry of Tourism, it emerged that Big B will be the first choice to replace Aamir Khan as the brand ambassador of Incredible India. Others who are under consideration are Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Akshay Kumar.

Aamir who was the face of the campaign was asked to discontinue with his services as the contract with the agency was over. At the same time, many reports close to the megastar said that no formal offer has been made so far and also gave a hint that the speculation regarding this was ‘disclosed’ by an unverified twitter account.

Bachchan is currently the face of Gujarat Tourism and reports stated that since he began the campaign, the state has seen an upsurge in popularity.

“Our contract was with McCann Worldwide (ad agency) for ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ campaign. The agency had hired Aamir for the job. Now the contract with the agency is over. The ministry had not hired Aamir. Since the contract with the agency is over, automatically the arrangement with the actor no longer exists,” Union culture and tourism minister Mahesh Sharma told.

Aamir Khan was recently in the news due to his comments on intolerance in India during the Bihar polls which invited strong remarks from public and government parties.

Stylish star Allu Arjun faced injuries while shooting for an action sequence for his latest flick Sarainodu. The actor hurt his elbow and was advised to take bed rest for few weeks. Doctors also suggested him not to perform any risk involving stunts for a month days. Nonetheless, Allu Arjun after taking medicines has continued shooting and doing action sequences as not to disturb the schedules and not to become the reason for delay in release. This shows Allu Arjun’s commitment.

Sarainodu next schedule will commence from January 24th, where the film unit will can climax sequences. So, Allu Arjun is expected to perform much risky stunts in the schedule. Boyapati Srinu is directing the movie after delivering a blockbuster Legend that starred Balakrishna. Rakul Preet Singh is female lead in the mass action entertainer, wherein Catherine Tresa is playing second fiddle and actress Anjali will be seen shaking her leg opposite Bunny in a special number.

Allu Arjun is essaying an IPS officer in Sarainodu being produced by Allu Aravind and senior actor Srikanth will be seen in an important role. Pataas fame director Anil Ravipudi who is presently making Sai Dharam Tej starrer Supreme has penned dialogues for Sarainodu which is slated to release in summer.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s most eagerly awaited film Dictator completed its censor with a U/A certificate and is all set for a huge worldwide release on this 14th. The film being Balayya’s 99th project, has attained a never seen before  hype. Advance bookings have started in several areas and tickets are being sold like hot cakes.

The fans’ euphoria is no less in the US. Balayya fans on social media are discussing that the film’s US distributor auctioned Dictator’s first ticket and a  diehard NRI fan grabbed the film’s first ticket for a staggering $5,555 amidst cutthroat competition.

The amount totals to roughly Rs. 3.6 lakhs and if the news is indeed true, this is by far the highest ever price any Tollywood star’s film ticket has been sold for. In the past, Balayya’s Legend’s first ticket was sold for 40,000 in Rayalaseema.

Couple of months ago, it is said that Anjali will be shaking her booty for an item song in Allu Arjun’s next, Sarainodu. But now the makers have change of plan. They have brought in Loafer fame Disha Patani to do this song.

Disha Patani recently also bagged a role in M.S Dhoni’s Biopic. Sarainodu is progressing at brisk pace. The makers are making arrangements to release the First Look of the film for Sankranthi. As of now they are planning to release the movie on April 8th as Allu Arjun’s Birthday Special.

The film probably will be the first star release in Summer-2016. Rakul Preet Singh is romancing Bunny in this movie which is being directed by Boyapati Srinu.

Akhil Akkineni’s debut film, Akhil – The Power of Jua ended up as a miserable flop at the box office. The young lad is obviously disappointed but not dejected. The youngster is currently busy listening to scripts for his second project and various endorsements.

The actor recently gifted himself a G-63 (black) model, Mercedes Benz which costed him a whopping 2.6 Crore. The actor got himself the vehicle as New Year gift. This gift is from his first pay cheque and so he will remember it for a long time.
