Allu Aravind’s strategy to counter Sardaar
Mega fans are eagerly waiting for the arrival of Sardaar Gabbar Singh and no wonder this movie is getting maximum coverage in all sections of media. With Sardaar hogging the limelight, the other biggie that is also slated for April release is being sidelined by fans as well as the media. We are talking about Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu that is set for April 22nd release.
Producer of Sarrainodu Allu Aravind is well experienced and knows how to deal with such issues. So he has sketched a plan to promote Sarainodu without getting into the way of Sardaar Gabbar Singh. Sarrainodu audio launch was supposed to be a grand gala event. However Aravind is aware that mega fans wouldn’t be that excited about this event with Sardaar release round the corner.
Therefore Sarrainodu audio will be directly launched into the market without any events. Allu Aravind is planning to conduct audio success event on April 10th as Sardaar Gabbar Singh releases on April 8th. Sardaar’s verdict will be out by then and fans would look forward to another mega movie. This will give much scope for Sarrainodu to draw the attention of fans and the media as well.
Toughest Task For Nagarjuna
Nagarjuna has played variety of roles and experimented with different genres in decades of his career. Films like Shiva, Geethanjali, Hello Brother, Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu, Rajanna, Manam, Sogade Chinni Nayana and most recently Oopiri demonstrate that he hasn’t restricted himself to particular class or genre.
Interestingly, Nagarjuna admits that his role of Hathiram Baba in his next film Om Namo Venkatesaya is going to be toughest task in his career hitherto. For this role which requires him to look lean, Nagarjuna is regularly hitting gym to lose weight.
“We have recognized that there’s no specific image of Baba Hathiram in modern culture. So we have no reference to understand how he dressed or what he looked like when he was around. Getting into the character will be a bigger challenge,” says Nagarjuna. Directed by K Raghavendra Rao, the film Om Namo Venkatesaya will start rolling soon.
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is basking on the success of Vamsi Paidipally directed Oopiri which is raking record collections at the box office. The Karthi and Tamannah Bhatia co-starrer film is set for another blockbuster for Nagarjuna.
