House has the highest power – Setback for Roja !
MLA RK Roja hogs the lime light right now in Andhra Pradesh Politics. A single judge revoked her suspension for one year, but still she was not permitted inside the House and that created more chaos. YSRCP MLA’s protested and there was huge drama outside the assembly for past few days.
Today morning A division bench of High court heard an appeal filed by the Andhra Pradesh legislative affairs department challenging a single judge order staying operation of the Assembly resolution suspending YSRC MLA Roja from assembly for a period of one year.
Acting Chief Justice Dilip B.Bhosale and Justice P.Naveen Rao, senior advocate of Supreme Court P.P.Rao said that the court cannot have Judicial review on any order passed by Legislature and they said the house has all the powers to suspend a member from the assembly.
The division bench dismissed the interim order passed by the single bench. Assembly however said that they are ready to forgive her and revoke suspension if she is ready to apologize for her ‘inappropriate behaviour’. It has to be noted that Roja made some cheap remarks against Chandrababu Naidu on December 18, 2015.
US Rights Of ‘Theri’ Bagged For Rs.3 Crore
The US theatrical rights of superstar Vijay-starrer Tamil actioner “Theri” have been bagged for a whopping sum of Rs.3 crore by CineGalaxy Inc, a Texas-based distribution company.
“The rights were procured for Rs.3 crore. We’d like to thank producer Thanu for trusting us and giving us the opportunity to release the film. It will be a grand release on April 14,” Sanjay of CineGalaxy Inc. told IANS.
Directed by Atlee, the film features Vijay in the role of a police officer, donning three different avatars.
Although an action film at heart, “Theri” will also focus on the bond between a father and his daughter.
Also starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Amy Jackson, the film introduces veteran filmmaker Mahendran as the antagonist.

With her star not currently shining in politics, Jayaprada is eyeing roles in the movie industry and Tollywood. But her conditions are indeed difficult to meet.

Sardaar to wrap Hyderabad Shoot
- Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh shooting is nearing completion. Today will be the last day shoot for the team in Hyderabad and they will be flying to Europe tomorrow for the last schedule there. The team will be canning the remaining two songs in the film there.
Dinesh Master will be choreographing both the songs. Sardaar Gabbar Singh is being readied for April 8th release as Ugadi Special and so the post production works are also happening simultaneously. It is said that Kajal Aggarwal will be dubbing herself for her role in the movie.
This is the first time, the actress is dubbing for her role in any film industry. With this, the actress joins the elite club of Tamannah and Rakul Preet Singh with this feat. The movie is a hot cake in trade and it is witnessing never before offers from trade.
It is estimated that the pre-release business will be around 80-90 Crore. Hindi version of the movie will be releasing on the same day. The dubbing works are also going on. Eros International will be releasing the film in Hindi.
Surya To Play Mahesh Babu’s Villain
Superstar Mahesh Babu who is presently busy wrapping up the family entertainer Brahmotsavam will make his entry into Kollywood with a new bilingual film to be directed by AR Murugadoss. Buzz is that, Tamil director SJ Suriya has been approached to play baddie in the film.
SJ Surya is well-known to Telugu spectators with the films like Jodi, Kushi, Nani and Puli. He mostly plays at least cameo roles in all his films and was seen essaying crucial roles in other directors films too. Surya will next be seen as antagonist in Pizza fame Karthik Subbaraj directing Iraivi starring Vijay Sethupathi in lead role.
Surya was lauded for his acting abilities in his previous films. So, he is definitely a big add-on for Mahesh Babu’s film, if the news is true. On the flip side, Surya is speculated to direct Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s next film Kushi 2 to be produced by AM Ratnam.
Coming to Mahesh-Murugadoss film, it is expected to go on floors from June or July. The makers are in talks with Sai Pallavi, Keerthy Suresh and Parineeti Chopra for the female lead. More details about the high budget entertainer will be unveiled soon.
