Kshanam Remake Rights Sold
Kshanam starring Adivi Sesh, Adah Sharma and Anasuya is a decent hit at the box office backed by superb positive talk and reviews. Foxstar Studios released the movie across the nation couple of weeks back with English subtitles.
On the other side, a popular TV channel picked up the satellite rights of the film for 1.75 Crore which is a sensational amount for a small film. Famous Bollywood producer Sajid Najiadwala, who earlier remade Ravi Teja’s Kick in Hindi, grabbed the remake rights paying a hefty amount.
Rumours are that Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan may star in this remake project. This will be a big achievement for a small movie if that happens Kshanam was made with a shoestring budget and will be bringing super profits to every one involved in the film trade.
Kshanam has story penned by Adavi Sesh and is directed by debutant Ravikanth Perepu. PVP Cinemas will breathe in relief with this movie success as they have no commercial hits in their journey so far. They have Oopiri and Brahmotsavam lined up for release.

If reports are to be believed, leading Telugu news channel TV9 has been sold. And it’s bought by none other than Telangana CM KCR’s close aide and real-estate baron Rameshwar Rao Jupally. Rameshwar Rao, the chairman of My Homes Constructions, said to have bought the channel for staggering price.
While the exact deal value is not yet disclosed, an official announcement regarding the same is awaited. The channel management has been planning to sell it from longtime and many famous news networks in country were interested in taking it over. However, nothing worked out due to the high price quote to make a deal.
Now that Rameshwar Rao decided to pump in big monies, the TV channel management seems to have budged for the sale. The channel which also has a sister channel in Telangana is likely to be the part of the deal. More details are yet to be revealed.
TDP Ready with Plan-B,C & E for Roja?
YSRCP MLA R K Roja has finally got some kind of relief from the High Court, which had stayed her suspension from AP Assembly for a period of one year. Now political observers are watching keenly as to how the ruling TDP would handle the firebrand lady in the coming days.
Sources say that the Minister for Legislative Affairs Yanamala Ramakrishnudu held discussions with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to discuss future course of action. One option is that the government would approach division bench of the High Court and get this stay vacated.
If this may not happen, then it may be moving the Supreme Court even as Yanamala reportedly came out with an interesting suggestion wherein they would allow Roja into the Assembly. As expected she would create an aggressive posture and make some nuisance in the House.
If she remains calm, then the TDP members themselves would anyway provoke her to cross the red line. Once she comes and falls into their trap, the Speaker would then suspend her for the rest of the session. One rumour is that the privilege committee is working out an option to suspend her for three years.
