Superstar Shoots Down Rumours Of Working With Prabhas
Superstar Hrithik Roshan has denied reports that he is teaming up with Prabhas for the fourth instalment of thriller-action Dhoom.
There were reports that the 42-year-old actor and the Baahubali star were roped in to play the main villains in the Yash Raj franchise.
“There are ONLY 2 movies I am doing. KAABIL and yashraj next with victor! THATS IT (sic),” Hrithik said during a chat session with fans.
Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Kaabil stars Yami Gautam opposite Hrithik. It is expected to go on floors by the end of this month and will release on January 26 next year.
The other Yash Raj film, which Hrithik has signed recently, is Thug. It’s an action adventure movie directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who wrote the dialogue of Dhoom franchise.
This year, the Bang Bang star will be seen in Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama Mohenjo Daro.
INSIDE STORY: Nayantara stunned Chiranjeevi?
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film is currently the most discussed topic in Telugu film industry. Everyone from producers to audience are equally excited about this project. Every detail of the film is creating interest in people. It is said that Chiranjeevi finalized Nayantara as the heroine of his comeback project.
However this also came as a shock to Chiranjeevi. The Megastar sent VV Vinayak to her to narrate the story and finalize the deal. He expected that Nayantara will feel herself lucky to be cast opposite him in such a prestigious project. But what happened there is totally different. Nayantara stunned Chiranjeevi.
She is not at all bothered about the oppurtunity and is only keen on the remuneration she will be getting. She also made it clear that she will not settle down for any thing less than 2.5 Crore for the film. This will be a record amount even for the most happening heroines in the South right now. We are said that the makers have agreed to all her demands and signed her for the project.
Good Films In Bad Time
2016 started off with a bang for Tollywood. After a super hit beginning to the year on Jan 1st with Nenu Sailaja, Tollywood’s success streak only got better with the two Sankranthi blockbusters, Soggade Chinni Nayana and Express Raja.After the Sankranthi mayhem, the box-office battle was mostly limited to small and medium budget films in February and March, before the biggies take it over from early April, starting with Sardaar Gabbar Singh. Films like Kshanam and Kalyana Vaibhogame were termed good hits, while Jabardasth Rashmi same Guntur Talkies from being a dud with her sensuous exposure.
The success of these three low budget films only makes one feel that their box-office collections would have been even higher had that released in a proper season. Usually, February and March are considered dull seasons for film trade as a majority of moviegoers, the college students, will be busy with their exams.
All the recent hits, Kshanam, Kalyana Vaibhogame and Guntur Talkies collected nothing less than 5 crores share and trade pundits predict that another 1-1.5 crores could have easily been added had they released in the right season.
NTR, Siva To Take Profit Share
Tollywood stars and directors are keen on taking shares from profits, rather obtaining remuneration. This indeed is obliging for stars as well as filmmakers. Likewise, young tiger NTR is also following the same path that of Mahesh Babu in terms of remuneration for his new film Janatha Garage.Mythri Movies offered shares in profits for Mahesh Babu and director Koratala Siva for the blockbuster Srimanthudu. Both Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva were happy for pocketing big sum for the film.
The production house is now following the same trend for Janatha Garage. NTR and Koratala will be taking their share from profits as remuneration. Good resolution by the producers.
Both NTR and Koratala Siva are basking on success of their previous films. So, expectations are boundless for their combination film- Janatha Garage which is in starting stages of production.
Surprising thing is distributors are in hurry to acquire theatrical rights of the film for their zone. The film is expected to make highest business in NTR’s career. So, both NTR and Koratala Siva will surely get huge pay for Janatha Garage.
Grand Reception for Srija in Hyderabad
Remember Srija, the younger daughter of Megastar Chiranjeevi? Few years ago, she eloped with a guy called Sirish Bhardwaj and even made allegations against her own father. But later, she got divorced and came back to her father. Srija was living with Chiranjeevi since then.
The family is getting married yet again. She is all set to get married on 28th of this month and the event is going to be a family affair. However Chiranjeevi had arranged a reception on 31st of this month at Park Hyatt hotel, Hyderabad.
The grand reception will be attended by the who’s who of the industry, VVIPS and celebrities from all walks of the society. Even few Bollywood celebrities are also expected at this glittery evening on the big day.
The bridegroom is an industrialist from Hyderabad, Kalyan. He is the son of famous industrialist, Captain Kishan of Chittoor. Kalyan and Srija are reportedly classmates in their college days. We congratulate both of them on this occasion!
Mahesh’s family visits Burripalem
Our readers are aware that Superstar Mahesh Babu had adopted two villages – one each in AP and Telangana. In Telangana, he adopted Siddhapuram village of Kottur mandal in Mahabubnagar district and in AP, he adopted his native village , Burripalem of Guntur district.
The work in Burripalem began today Mahesh had sent his wife Namratha, son Gautam, daughter Sitara and Sister Padmini to Burripalem. They will be seeing around the village and will be identifying the needs and problems of the village in the interaction with the people there.
Previously Superstar Krishna also did several development works here. Local people are hoping that Mahesh babu will also help the village in all possible ways. Burripalem is currently being plagued by problems like drainage, roads and unemployment.
Lets see if Mahesh changes the face of the village like he did in Srimanthudu movie. On the other side, Mahesh is planning to adopt similar strategy for the Telangana village.
Anasuya Was Not Asked For Bunny
Actors usually laugh and ignore most of the rumors until and unless someone dares to ask them at a one-on-one interview. The new trend is different where a director like Rajamouli loves to keep gossip mongers starve and small time actors bring up their own gossip and condemn it on social media.TV host turned actor Anasuya has earned few decent points with her Kshanam performance, though there is a large room for improvement. Her appearance in Soggade is not any good than a TV show she does. After her Kshanam success, rumors popped up that she was asked to be part of Allu Arjun’s next film.
Anasuya usually responds to rumors and she did it this time too, saying she was never approached by anyone asking for a bunny’s film and wondered where these rumors start at.
A filmnagar bird chips that Anasuya never gets a chance to sizzle in any Mega hero’s film. Anasuya had a tiff with Bunny’s fans sometime back, when she commented stylish star’s looks from his debut film Gangotri. Though the actress claims to have superb rapport with Allu Arjun, she fell in bad books of his fans and who knows what Bunny felt about it?
