Chiru A CM Candidate In 2019?
Before the 2009 elections, Megastar Chiranjeevi formed Praja Rajyam Party and campaigned extensively along with his brother Pawan Kalyan. However, the Mega brothers failed to transform their charisma into votes and suffered a huge defeat.
Chiru later merged PRP into Congress and served as a union minister and is currently the party’s Rajya Sabha MP. On the other hand, Pawan differed with Chiru’s political ideologies and formed Janasena and he is raging to go all out in the 2019 elections.
Now, latest buzz in the political circles is that Pawan is working towards bringing Chiru into BJP and make him the party’s CM candidate in the 2019 AP elections. Even though Chiru denied quitting Congress till the end of his political career, chances are apparently high that he will join BJP in 2018 after his Rajya Sabha tenure ends.
Pawan will disassociate himself with the TDP and team up with BJP during the 2019 general elections, according to the reports. Also, BJP lacking a strong and charismatic leader to head the party in AP is going in the Mega brothers’ favour.
Charan Clarifies On Divorce And Affair Rumors
From past few days, speculations were rife that, all is not well between mega power star Ram Charan and his wife Upasana. And according to the reports, Charan’s rumored affair with tennis star Sania Mirza is reason for the tiffs between the couple. Some reports further stated that, Charan and Upasana have decided to part ways.However, Ram Charan is reported to be condemned the rumors stating, Sania Mirza is a very good friend of him and there is no truth in plans of giving divorce to his wife Upasana. Charan also requested media not to spread such false rumors and informed that he and Upasana are currently busy with his sister Srija pre-wedding works.
In fact, the rumors of Ram Charan moving close to Sania Mirza have started since the both were spotted together at many public and private events in recent times.
On film front, Ram Charan is presently shooting for his latest flick under Surender Reddy’s direction. Dhruva is working title for the movie which is official remake of Thani Oruvan.

Union Minister for Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu was thoroughly exposed on Wednesday for his double standards on granting special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
Reacting to a private member bill moved by Congress MP K V P Ramachandra Rao in Rajya Sabha, Venkaiah tried to cover up the inefficiency of the NDA government, by stating that the issue of special status to AP was not part of the AP Reorganisation Bill.
“It was only an assurance by then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Rajya Sabha. The blame should go to the Congress party for not making the special status issue part of the AP Reorganisation Bill. We are not at fault. We are sincerely trying to implement whatever is there in the Act,” he said.
What Venkaiah tried to conceal is that the issue of special category status to AP had come up for discussion on the last day of the Parliament when the Rajya Sabha took up the Reorganisation Bill for voting.
It was Venkaiah who forced Manmohan Singh to make a statement on the issue to do justice to AP post-bifurcation. He had, in fact, demanded special status for a period of 10 years. He did not explain why the BJP had supported the Bill without the clause for special category.
Venkaiah also forgot the fact that the BJP had mentioned the special status issue in its poll manifesto and he and present Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured the same when they addressed public meetings in AP during elections.
What happened to all these assurances, Mr Venkaiah?
Relief For Roja In Supreme Court
At last, firebrand YSR Congress party MLA from Nagari R K Roja got some solace in the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
The apex court directed the Hyderabad High Court to take up her petition challenging her suspension from the Assembly for one year.
A division bench of the Supreme Court comprising Justice Gopal Gouda and Justice Arun Mishra, which heard Roja’s arguments against her suspension, expressed surprise as to why the High Court had rejected her petition.
The Supreme Court ordered that the petition be taken up for hearing by the Chief Justice court on Wednesday itself. It sent an email to the HC asking it to take up the hearing on Wednesday.
The Supreme Court bench wondered how the High Court had come to the conclusion that Roja’s petition was not maintainable.
It also warned of serious action against Assistant Registrar of the High Court who was responsible for the rejection.
Expressing serious concern over the way the case was dealt with by the High Court, the SC stated that a case involving a public representative was not treated with due importance.
It was a moral victory for Roja, who knocked every possible door in all the courts to get justice.
With the Supreme Court giving a strong order in her favour, she is now expecting a favourable judgement in the High Court.
Child worker rescued from Ex-Speaker’s apartment
Few months back, a shocking report revealed that there were more than 100 Child labourers in Hyderabad. Now Officials has rescued two 14 Year children (Girl workers) from ex-assembly deputy Speaker and TRS leader Harishwar Reddy’s flat.
Child rights representatives said that they were alerted and they raided the apartment to find about the child labourer. Labour department Officials made this raid as a surprise factor.
E.Gangadhar who is the Joint labour commissioner said, “Our officials got a tip-off and we entered the apartment of former legislator, we found the 14-year-old girl making rotis on the stove. When we quizzed the girl, she said she is working at their house hold for more than 45 days.
We rescued the girl and found out that she is a native of Penumelle village in Uppunutula mandal of Mahbubnagar. Harishwar was also given a notice under Child Labour Act 1986 and a demand notice for Rs.20,000.” Another 14 year old kid was rescued from Canteen of MLA Quarters. The manager of the canteen was served an immediate notice.
