Nithiin Depends On Kishore For A Hit
After a slew of failures, hero Nithiin now wants to piggyback on a hit director. Now, he wants to do a film with Nenu Sailaja director Kishore Tirumala.
Nithiin’s recent films have failed to create a buzz. After Ishq and Gundejaari Gallantayinde, his films have flopped. Added to this, the film he produced for Akhil Akkineni also flopped.
Now, he wants to make another film under his Sreshth Movies banner. The film will be directed by Nenu Sailaja director Kishore Tirumala.
Interestingly, after Nenu Sailaja, Kishore Tirumala is flooded with offers. Ram has already announced a film with him.
First Resignation After Greater Results
After the major setback in GHMC elections, the first resignation came from Danam Nagender. The congress leader resigned as greater Hyderabad congress president today. There were speculations about Danam plans of joining TRS before elections, but they were ruled off by himself in the last minute and Danam pledged to continue in Congress.
After the disastrous result in greater polls for Congress, Danam resigned to the post taking the responsibility of failure. He also gave some blame to party leaders for not giving him the needed powers during the polls.
Danam praised the TRS chief KCR and KTR for their victory and comments after the win. These praises supported many other hints on Danam’s interest in entering the pink house soon. The Congress leader called for a press meet today to reveal the reasons behind his resignation and his plans ahead.

Celebrations to mark Jayalalithaa’s 68th birthday, which falls on February 24, have already begun in Tamil Nadu. AIADMK cadre conducted 68 marriages in Udumalaipettai in Coimbatore on Friday, to mark the special eve.
While Jayalalithaa was not present in person to bless the newlywed couples, the party cadre made sure Amma would supervise the weddings in the form of bands of her picture, that couples wore right on their foreheads.
The long list of Amma-branded products and services include, canteens, cements, medical shops, water bottles, tea, school bags, food material and now weddings, has made sure that Amma is everywhere in Tamil Nadu.
Attack On TV Channel In Vijayawada
A popular news channel with its operation hub in Vijayawada is attacked with stones by some unidentified. While the reasons for attack is yet to be known, the area surrounding the TV Channel office turned alarmed and tensed.
The TV channel is hailing as the top among all and few unidentified men pelted stones at office building on Friday night, leaving the glasses completely broken.
No one got injured in this unfortunate incident and the channel authorities have complained on the attack to police. Cops have started investigation with a preliminary visit at attack location and nothing is revealed yet.
Mahesh’s Nannaku Prematho Act
Superstar Krishna is making comeback to silver screen with a revenge drama film Sri Sri. The film is very special for Krishna as it marks his silver jubilee (50 years) in industry. To make this film a memorable one for his dad, Mahesh Babu will be attending the film’s audio launch event to be held at Shilpa Kala Vedika on February 18th.
Off late, Mahesh Babu is gracing audio launch functions of other stars. So, he is delighted to gratify his dad and family fans by making his presence for Sri Sri audio event. Apart from Mahesh, others from Krishna’s family and several industry bigwigs are likely to grace the ceremony.
Krishna is playing the role of common man who is inspired by legendary revolutionary poet Sri Sri. Says a Bollywood source, “Katrina is senior to Aditya Roy Kapur. So it was felt she should be paid on par with Aditya. In fact, the actor should have been paid much less. Since he is producer Siddharth Roy Kapur’s brother, he got the kind of money that he wouldn’t have otherwise demanded and got.”

Producers are now queuing up for the dates of this young hero but true to style, he is not in a hurry and waiting for scripts with a difference. His next movie is likely to be in the direction of Mahesh who earlier directed Sundeep Kishen in ‘Ra Ra Krishnayya’.
Bhutan’s queen gives birth to a baby boy
The tiny Himalayan nation of Bhutan has a new crown prince.
The Royal Media Office in capital Thimphu said on Saturday that the baby boy was born on Friday to King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck and his wife, Queen Jetsun Pema.
Wangchuck married Jetsun Pema in a Buddhist ceremony in 2011.
The child, the royal couple’s first, was delivered by a medical team at the Lingkana Palace in Thimphu. The media statement says that King Wangchuck was by the side of the queen during the delivery.
Hillary, Bernie debate who is more progressive
Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders pulled no punches attacking each other, trying to prove more progressive than the other on Thursday night, at the final debate before the primary in New Hampshire on Tuesday. Mr. Sanders’ line of attack focused on the big vulnerability Ms. Clinton is trying to overcome — her connections with big banks and companies that have paid her millions in campaign donations and speaking fees.
The Senator from Vermont, a State that borders New Hampshire, said Ms. Clinton represented the ‘establishment’ and he represented the “ordinary Americans,” a foggy categorisation that has defined the fault lines in both parties in the current election season. New Hampshire is 95 per cent white, with blacks, Asians and Latinos combined making up the rest. The state has progressive and libertarian strands influencing its political history – it is the second least religious of all U.S. states, was one of the first states to legalise gay marriage. The State also has near absolute concepts of private property and follows an ‘open carry’ gun policy.
The gender card The cornerstone of Ms. Clinton’s strategy to fend off the allegation that she is part of the establishment is to play up the fact that she could be the first woman President of the U.S. “I am amused that the first woman running for President is being called establishment,” she shot back at Mr. Sanders. A large number of people in New Hampshire, men and women, accept that point. But the alleged Wall Street connections have eroded her ‘progressive credentials’, as Mr. Sanders raises it in every speech, but never naming her. Ms. Clinton confronted him on the issue. “If you’ve got something to say, say it directly, but you will not find that I ever changed a view or a vote because of any donation I ever received,” she said. Ms. Clinton did not disagree with Mr. Sanders on most issues, but offered herself as a better candidate for achieving those goals. “A progressive is someone who makes progress,” she said.
“I’m fighting for people that cannot make those changes and I’m not making promises that I cannot keep,” she said, reiterating the point that Mr. Sanders was making unrealistic promises and would never be able to build the political support for their implementation. Voting records The ‘who is more progressive contest’ also extended to their voting records as senators. Mr. Sanders said he has always been opposed to Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal, while Ms. Clinton had to explain her change of mind. “I believe in trade, but in trade that works for the middle classes of this country, and not only for the multinational companies.
The trade deals we have are written by corporate America for corporate America, it has started a race to the bottom for wages,” Mr. Sanders said. His position echoes Republican front-runner Donald Trump’s on this issue.

Amaravati Needs $10 Billion In 10 Yrs
$10 billion in 10 years is what the AP government needs to build its new capital Amaravati, as revealed by Ajay Jain, the Secretary of AP Infrastructure and Investment Department during his speech at India Investment Summit.
Ajay Jain further stated that the AP government is working closely with the Singapore government and hoped to finish the construction of important government complexes and iconic buildings the next three years.
Addressing a large platoon of investors from India and abroad, Ajay Jain further stated that Andhra Pradesh has the 2nd longest coastline among the Indian states and ranks second in ease of doing business. Listing out other incentives further, Ajay Jain said that several prestigious universities will be setting up campuses in Amaravati.
