Actor Raja Ravindra has now kick started his second innings. Raja Ravindra, who was seen playing hero’s friend, brother and baddie, now seems to have entered into the next level of his career. In Raj Tarun’s recent film Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sitralu, Raja Ravindra was seen heroine’s father with negative shades.

“In my first innings, I acted as hero’s brother, brother-in-law and now I moved into new space. I just started my second innings. I’m looking forward to doing several such roles,” said Ravindra who is elated with the response for his role.

After doing several films including Hitler with Chiranjeevi and many such films, now, the talk doing the rounds in industry is whether Raja Ravindra is eyeing to fill the space of character actor Ahuti Prasad.

The movie is also titled ‘Kabali’ in Telugu. Radhika Apte is the female lead in the film. Rajinikanth will be seen in the role of an aging gangster in the movie. Ranjith Pa is wielding megaphone for the movie.

The audio album of Manchu Manoj’s latest film Shourya has been launched by Mohan Babu last night. The theatrical trailer which was unveiled at the do has caught everyone’s attention with an interesting premise.

The trailer starts off with Prakash Raj’s baritone voice-over saying every incident has three stories – people’s perception about the incident, protagonist’s version and finally the actual incident. As Prakash Raj explains, a traditional house, all decked up for an auspicious occasion where all the drama may unravel, is shown followed by Shourya, played by a pensive Manoj.

Then, interesting flashes of Manoj being chased by a worried Prakash Raj as a cop, goons and media people appear in reverse motion, leading to a flashback of Shourya’s love story with Nethra, played by Regina, and the typical happy family set up.

Then comes a twist in the love story where a murder angle is introduced with police investigations and chases on the young couple.

Finally, the trailer ends with an interesting one liner – “Prema anedi evadiki vadiki separate question paper..Ni answer naku paniki radu, na answer niku paniki radu” which makes things even more interesting, adding a suspense element to the three POVs.

Even while the shoot of his current project Sardaar Gabbar Singh is underway, here comes the news about Pawan’s next film. As we first broke news that Pawan would team up with director SJ Surya for his next film, there were speculations that the duo would make sequel to their classic Kushi.

However, quashing them, it’s now learnt that the film would be remake of Tamil superhit Vedalam. Pawan is going to reprise Ajith in the Telugu remake. After several discussions, Pawan finally voted for Vedalam. Tipped to be a revenge drama, the story has perfect mix of action, entertainment.

And talk is that music director Anirudh Ravichander, who shot to fame with Kolaveri Di, would likely to be roped in for the film. The movie is going to be jointly produced by Sharath Marar and Pawan Kalyan’s Creative Works. Sharrath is presently producing Sardaar with Pawan.

An official confirmation on the project is awaited. Meanwhile, director Surya is not leaving the sets of SGS. Currently, pre-production work is going on at brisk pace.

During the release of Sukumar’s debut home production Kumari 21F, producer Dil Raju startled everyone when he announced that he will produce a film launching Devi Sri Prasad as a hero under Sukumar’s direction. Dil Raju also said the film will commence its shoot in a couple of months.

However, there has been no news from either Sukumar or DSP about this much hyped project until now. Breaking the long silence at last, Sukumar finally spilled the beans about the project. Following the success of his last film Nannaku Prematho, Sukumar has been touring the Konaseema region to meet his friends and family members.

During his ongoing Konaseema tour, Sukumar told the media that his film with Devi Sri Prasad will be a family entertainer with a Konaseema backdrop since he and DSP hail from Konaseema region. However, one wonders if this film will go on floors in the near future.

Interestingly, Sukumar also said the other day that he is planning to make his next film with either Ram Charan or Allu Arjun. Industry circles claim that Sukumar recently narrated a oneliner to Charan and the Megapower Star is heavily impressed with it and asked him to develop it into a full fledged script.

Our readers are aware that Krishna Vamshi is making a film titled ‘Rudraksha’. The film will have five female and five male protagonists. Already Anushka and Samantha were roped in to the project.

And now we are said that Krishna Vamsi has roped in his wife and yesteryear heroine Ramya Krishna as one of the female leads. Previously the couple worked together for Nagarjuna’s Chandrakala.

Ramya Krishna’s career graph is soaring recently with the back-to-back successes of Baahubali and Soggade Chinni Nayana, and her inclusion in Rudraksha will surely increase the hype surrounding the film. The film will go on floors very soon.
