Film stars facing the heat on social media is nothing new and even the biggest of the stars could not escape the fans’ fury. The latest celebrity to become the internet victim is the doe-eyed Kannada beauty Pranitha Subhash.

With a handful of big ticket Tollywood films such as Atharintiki Dharedhi and Brahmotsavam, Pranitha is a popular actress down in Telugu and Tamil, apart from her native Kannada film industry. Now, Pranitha’s support to the Telugu Warriors team in the recently launched Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) has hurt her Kannada fans who started abusing her and even called her a traitor.

In the previous editions, Pranitha supported the Karnataka team and her sudden shifting of loyalties to the Telugu team has not gone down well with the hardcore Kannada admirers who tweeted rude comments like ‘I hate you now’, ‘how could you do this?’and ‘traitor’ etc.

Deeply upset by this sudden fury, Pranitha said in her latest interview, “People think that we can choose which team we want to be a part of, but that’s not how it works. I have been doing several Telugu films of late, which is perhaps why the Telugu team approached me.”Pranitha further said that if given a chance she would support all the teams equally since it’s all about cinema in the end.

Young actor, Raj Tharun is having the fourth release of his career, Seethamma Andhalu Ramayya Sitralu tomorrow. The actor is on a high with hat-trick hits with the first three films of his career. In one of the promotional interviews, he clarified that he is consciously working with new heroines only because the pairing should look nice and nothing other.

However he revealed that he have a huge crush on Samantha and would love to romance her. Raj Tharun is currently working on the remake of a Punjabi film. It is a multistarer film along side Manchu Vishnu in the direction of Doosukeltha fame G.Nageswara Reddy. After that, he also have couple of projects for Geetha Arts and Dil Raju.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Thani Oruvan remake will have its launch in February. The regular shooting will immediately followed and the movie is planned for the second half of the next year. Rakshak is the title in rumour mills for the film.

Music directors duo – Hip Hop Tamizha began the music sittings of the film in Bengaluru. They are planning to infuse fresh talent for the film. Ram Charan’s uncle, Allu Aravind and Senior Producer NV Prasad will be jointly producing the film which is being directed by Surender Reddy.

NV Prasad earlier produced Charan’s Racha. Arvind Swamy will be reprising his role from the original for the film.

Our readers are aware that Creative director Krishna Vamshi is working on a film in Dil Raju’s Production for his next project. It was then said Anushka is playing the female lead in this film. It was said that the film will have one more heroine and five other young actors in its ranks.

Now it is said that the team is in talk with Samantha. We do not know Samantha is the second heroine in the film or is replacing Anushka. The movie is reportedly of horror genre and will be made in limited working days.

They say the movie will have some good CG content and they are planning it like never before in Telugu Cinema. Krishna Vamshi’s last outing, Govindhudu Andhari Vaadele is an average grosser at the box office. We will have to see if this new project will be a comeback film for the ace director.

Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal escaped a major accident on Thursday. The car he is travelling met with an accident at Malayattur in Kerala as it hit a tipper coming fast. Mohanlal did not sustain any injuries in this accident.

This happened while he is travelling to the shooting spot of his Puli Murugan movie. This will come as a huge relief to the makers of Telugu movies, Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s Manamantha and NTR’s Janatha Garage as he is playing crucial roles in both the films.

Mohanlal also appointed a tutor and is learning Telugu so that he can dub on his own for his characters in both the films. Janatha Garage shooting will begin with Mohanlal episodes in February second week.
