Shruti Hasan is a glamorous heroine and there would be no cross questions on this statement. When it comes to attending the film functions, heroines go overboard with their styling just to attract the cameras and thereby gain the public attention.

In fact, Shruti is an in-form heroine and there’s no need to play any such silly tricks for grabbing the eyeballs but her overtly exposing costume does all buzz at IIFA celebration. As you see above, Shruti wore a really revealing outfit which caught many of the viewers by surprise.

Although, she has done such feats many times in past but the depth was so deep this time and her pictures from the event sold like hot cakes on internet. Puri roped in Priyanka Chopra’s Cousin

After a lot of dilly dallying and actresses like Amyra Dastur, Aisha Sharam, Pooja Jhaveri walked out of Puri Jagannadh’s Rogue in the mid way, writer-director Puri has roped in Mannara Chopra as the female lead. Mannara, who happens to be Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra’s cousin, is zeroed in on for the Telugu-Kannada bilingual film which Puri took it as prestigious project.

What’s more? Already, Puri has begun shooting for Rogue with Mannara and the shooting is presently progressing in Bangkok. Mannara will be seen playing a spunky girl in the film a la Puri’s heroines. Not too long ago, Aisha Sharma shot for Rogue for a considerable portion and it’s still unclear why she stepped out of the project abruptly.

Since Rogue is Puri’s next after Loafer debacle, Puri is taking special care on the script work and taking care of even minute details. The movie marks the debut of hero Ishan, who is nephew of noted Kannada producer CR Manohar. Let’s hope at least the heroine woes for Rogue ends with Mannara and Puri finishes the film on time. If all goes well, Rogue is slated for March release.

AP Women Happy With Jayalalithaa’s Gifts

During the last general elections in Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister Jayalalithaa miraculously fought off the anti-wave among the public by introducing several freebies and sops to the women folk. The low cost Amma Mixers and Amma Grinders were among those super hit schemes that turned the fortunes for Jayalalithaa.

Now, these Amma Mixers and Grinders have found a huge patronage among the women from the bordering Telugu villages and especially in Nellore and Prakasam districts. Priced between Rs. 500 and Rs. 2,500 respectively, the Amma mixers and grinders are being sold like hotcakes across several AP villages.

Telugu traders are buying the unused Amma Mixers and Grinders from Tamilians and are selling them off in Nellore and Prakasam for decent rates and minting money. Apparently, each trader is selling a minimum of 30 to 50 mixers per week.

Buoyed by the grand success of her freebie schemes, Jayalalithaa is keen on repeating the same tactic for middle-class housewives and students in the wake of the upcoming general elections which are due in mid-April.

Actress Charmi Kaur was spotted crying inconsolably at the famous awards event IIFA which took place in Hyderabad recently. A photo of Charmi crying loud is being shared online on various social networking platforms. And she was accompanied by actress Shriya Saran who was trying to console Charmi.

While exact reasons behind her weeping is not known, talk is that Charmi got emotional with an incident happened at Awards event and couldn’t control herself. But known for her spunky, bold nature, many couldn’t believe that Charmi sobbed a lot.

A perfect blend of beauty and talent, Charmi is of late, going through rough phase in her career. While her recent films didn’t fare well at the Box Office, she’s being getting limited offers. Although she sizzled in few item songs earlier, now those also seems to have stopped.

Donald Trump’s blunt-speaking candidacy has boosted ratings for the Republican presidential debates. U.S. Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump on Tuesday abruptly withdrew from a debate with party rivals this week out of anger at host Fox News, leaving the last encounter before Iowa’s first-in-the-nation nominating contest without the front-runner. Mr. Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, told reporters after a combative news conference held by the candidate that Mr. Trump would definitely not be participating in the debate scheduled for Thursday. During the news conference before he addressed a large crowd in Marshalltown, Iowa, Mr. Trump expressed irritation that Fox News planned to leave in place as a moderator the anchor Megyn Kelly, whose questioning of Trump at a debate last August angered him.

He also expressed displeasure at a Fox News statement on Monday night saying Mr. Trump would have to learn sooner or later that “he doesn’t get to pick the journalists” and that “we’re very surprised he’s willing to show that much fear about being questioned by Megyn Kelly.” “I was all set to do the debate, I came here to do the debate. When they sent out the wise-guy press release done by some PR person along with (Fox News Chairman) Roger Ailes, I said: ‘Bye bye, OK’” “Let’s see how much money Fox makes without me in the debate,” he added.

Mr. Trump’s blunt-speaking candidacy has boosted ratings for the Republican presidential debates. The August debate on Fox News drew 24 million viewers, a record for a presidential primary debate and the highest non-sports telecast in cable TV history. His boycott will leave Thursday’s debate without the leader in the crowded Republican field not only in Iowa but nationally. Ahead of Iowa’s caucuses next Monday, Trump leads in the polls over Texas Senator Ted Cruz, whom Trump dismissed as a “nasty guy” who “nobody likes.” A boycott could prove risky for Trump as Iowa Republicans seek to take one more look at who they want as their presidential candidate for the Nov. 8 election. Rivals like Cruz, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson could reap the benefits.

But Trump, a billionaire businessman and former reality TV star said he would hold a competing event to raise money for U.S. military veterans. Mr. Trump has been engaged in a public spat with Fox News since the network hosted the first debate and Mr. Kelly asked Mr. Trump about his treatment of woman, prompting a stream of insults from the candidate. At the news conference on Tuesday, Mr. Trump was introduced by Arizona’s Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who has sought tougher measures against illegal immigrants.

“Everything I believe in he’s doing and he’s going to do it as president,” said Arpaio. Mr. Trump, pressed on his plans to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexican border and deport many illegal immigrants, defended his proposal and said he would be able to persuade the U.S. Congress to go along with his plan.

He used to feed me with idlis mixed with ghee and from then I became habituated to gheer and became bulky. When Rajamouli narrated Yamadonga, he remarked that ladies will not come to theaters with that physique”.

NTR then revealed that he underwent liposuction and after that continued to maintain the same physique by working out in gym regularly. From Yamadonga, NTR’s physical transformation is amazing and got a new lease of life to his career.

His movies always seem promising under production because of the genres and the directors. Right now he is busy with Brahmotsavam directed by SVSC fame Srikanth Addala. Brahmotsavam is a family entertainer that could work wonders if it strikes a chord with the target audience.

Mahesh chose to do a family movie right after scoring a super hit with Srimanthudu. He is effortlessly switching between the genres and always been cautious by choosing in form directors. His next is a mega budget movie with Murugadoss which is already making a lot of buzz. While Mahesh is zooming ahead with superb projects up his sleeve, his close competitor Pawan Kalyan is sliding with some bizarre choices.

How can anyone team up with a director that has made an unforgettable flop like Komaram Puli? SJ Surya might have made memorable movies like Vaali and Khushi in the past, but direction is not his priority anymore. Even Tamil heroes are not considering a movie with him at the moment.Pawan fans are devastated to know that his next film will be directed by Surya. Even Sardaar Gabbar Singh is not a crazy project in terms of combination. Pawan chose Bobby among all to direct this film. Bobby’s first film was an average fare and fans cannot rest assured of a ‘Power’ful entertainer from him.

Recently released ‘lungi’ teaser has brought down the expectations on Sardaar as it indicated that there isn’t much stuff in the film except for Pawan’s walking skills!

Aadi’s Garam is being planned for 12th February release while the makers of Manchu Manoj’s Shourya have announced that their film is marked for February second week release.

In fact, Garam and Krishnagaadi Veera Premagaadha are looking at same day release now. Several of these films are carrying good promise and we will have to see who will emerge as winner in this February race!

Dasari Plays Spoilsport For Chiru’s Movie!

Just as Chiranjeevi is preparing for his comeback movie with the remake of “Katthi”, here comes the news that Telugu Film Directors’ Association and Film Federation Members have decided to boycott the movie. The reason is that the makers of Chiranjeevi’s “Katthi” are not honouring the decision taken by Katha Rachayitala Vedika headed by Dasari Narayana Rao.

A writer named Narasinha Rao has been claiming that the story of Murugadoss’s “Kaththi” is his and the team of Murugadoss has used it without giving him credit. But Murugadoss turned down his claims. Later the writer approached Katha Rachayitala Vedika which was chaired by Dasari and Dasari declared that the film shouldn’t be cleared for dubbing/remaking into Telugu unless the makers settle the issue with this writer.

But the Director’s Association now says Chiranjeevi is remaking the movie without settling the matter with writer. Hence the association forwarded the issue to the Federation and they decided not to cooperate Chiru’s production team. The issue is now at film chamber of commerce. It is clearly Dasari vs Chiranjeevi’s battle. Everyone knows they don’t get along well.

Malayalam Star clarifies Janatha Garage rumours!

With the inclusion of Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal, there are several Malayalam rumours about the movie. Recently they said Unni Mukundan was chosen to play Mohanlal’s son in NTR’s upcoming film, Janatha Garage.

Unni Mukundan is a popular name in Malayalam and is riding high on the success of his latest film, Style. The actor however confirmed that there is no truth in the rumours and he is not approached for the project.

Janatha Garage will go on floors on February 8th/10th. The makers are getting a huge set erected for the movie at Saradhi Studios for this purpose. Art director AS Prakash is supervising the set construction. The shooting will begin with the shooting of the Flashback sequences with Mohanlal first. NTR will be joining the shoot in the second schedule.

As per a latest update, Dasari is creating new hurdles for Mega Star’s prestigious 150th movie that is Tamil hit ‘Kaththi’ remake to be directed by VV Vinayak.

As we all know, ‘Kaththi’ story is prepared by AR Murugadoss and he directed it in Tamil with Vijay as hero. During those times, a writer named Narasimha Rao came forward claiming that ‘Kaththi’ is a story written by him and Murugadoss copied/used it without giving him any respect both in title credits and also in financial success.

At a time when Vinayak and his team along with Paruchuri Brothers are deeply involved in making changes to Tamil version, Narasimha Rao approached Katha Rachayithala Vedika headed by Dasari. Immediately, Dasari ordered for non-co-operation to Chiranjeevi ‘Kaththi’ and till the time Narasimha Rao is given the due recognition, there’s no way Dasari is going to loosen his stand. The issue has now headed to Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce for a solution.

Rajamouli Bahubali 2 To Be Affected By Padma Sri

Padma Sree Award is not just an honor or a matter of grown respect; it also builds a sense of responsibility on SS Rajamouli to think and execute his forthcoming films with much more accountability, sincerity and of course a social cause. A honor which isn’t decorated for greatest of directors like K Raghavendra Rao, Dasari Narayana Rao and other specialized commercial directors especially garlanded on SS Rajamouli might obviously throw some critics into aggressive mode but the Award is announced and we need to accept it.

True that Rajamouli redefined commercial and Box Office value of Telugu cinema and thus Indian cinema with projects like ‘Magadheera, Eega’ and ‘Bahubali’ made on highest technical standards ever used in Indian movie making. Displaying a brilliant eye in visualizing creative scenes added with enormous technical grandeur resulted in magnum opuses. But, how far these films showed a path for societal enlightenment or in which way they are different from ongoing trend?

Time has come for Jakkanna to forget his commercial storylines and begin his hunt for experimental lines to be coated with commercial treatment. This could be possible only if Rajamouli’s dream project ‘Maha Bharatha’ is materialized. Despite those routine glamour and heroic elevations his films are popular for, there is another side of the coin where Rajamouli has to work on. Will there be any effect of Padma Sree on ‘Bahubali 2’ or will he continue to excel in his own known way?
