Chiranjeevi Opens On Kaththi Moustache
Chiranjeevi is of course excited to begin his milestone 150th film but it has been very long time, he could not find a worthwhile story and script to take this Mega project forward. Finally, ‘Kaththi’ Telugu remake is the only best choice left before them and VV Vinayak is given the megaphone to begin pre-production operations.
In parallel, Chiranjeevi also began the preparations about managing his looks. ‘I have been preparing up to get my look right for Kaththi remake from the last couple of months. This moustache is part of my new look,’ Chiranjeevi reacted when a news media agency tried to find an answer for his new moustache.
The handlebar moustache which Chiru is sporting currently can be taken as the rough first look for ‘Kaththi.’ More of refinement might happen in coming days but this is first time, Mega Star spoke openly on ‘Kaththi’ remake confirmed as his next undertaken project. ‘Pre production works are in final stages. If everything goes as per plan, we will start shooting from end of next month,’ reports say Chiranjeevi added a final word.
Rashi Khanna working on slim look
These are the days of Zero Size heroines sporting hot bikinis, but there are occasionally very few heroines who still attracts the audience with their chubby looks. After the age of Sridevi, Radha and Rambha, we have only Anushka. And very recently there is Rashi Khanna. The actress had a successful debut with Oohalu Gusagusalade.
She is never short of offers but there are negative results all over except for Bengal Tiger. However for some reason, Rashi wants to shed her chubby image and is working on toning down her weight. Bunny in Dhoom-4?
Please do not get excited about our own Stylish Star making his Bollywood debut with the prestigious Dhoom-4. He is going to star in Dhoom-4 but not that famous Dhoom series. His blockbuster film, Race Gurram is being dubbed in to Hindi and the makers have titled it as Dhoom-4.
Its a sort of trick usually employed by dubbing film makers to get some attention to their films. Race Gurram Hindi dubbing works are complete and it will release very soon. Race Gurram is the first 50 Crore share film for Bunny. Lets see if it manages to put up good show in Hindi as well.
Krishnam Raju Reveals About Prabhas Marriage
The only subject audience would love to discuss about Prabhas other than ‘Bahubali’ is his ‘MARRIAGE.’ Yes, the most eligible bachelor hero of Tollywood might soon become a family man if at all Uncle Krishnam Raju words come true. There is a lot of pressure built on Prabhas to find a right girl for marriage because his age is tolling into mid 30s and there can’t be any right time than this.
Sometime ago, gossipmongers have circulated rumors on Krishnam Raju found a suitable girl for Prabhas in Bhimavaram but the joy was only short lived. This time Krishnam Raju again spoke some interesting lines. ‘Yes, Prabhas promised me on marriage during the Sankranthi festive get together time. I don’t know whether it’s going to be love marriage or arranged marriage. I left the choice to Prabhas,’ as said by Krishnam Raju.

Tarak Vs Ram Charan?
Young Tiger NTR’s next project, Janatha Garage had its launch couple of months ago and it was then, the makers have announced that their film will release on August 12th as Independence day special. But now the makers of Ram Charan’s next are also targeting the same day release.
Janatha Garage’s regular shooting will begin from 8th/10th of next month and Ram Charan’s Thani Oruvan remake will start rolling from 16th. So both the films have almost equal chances of making it for the August 12th release. The release date works largely in the movies’ favour as there is a long weekend holiday due to Independence day holiday on Monday.
Varun Tej’s Birthday Celebrations
Mega Prince Varun Tej’s birthday was celebrated yesterday and Mega heroes such as Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej became the part of these celebrations. And Niharika was also part of the celebration.
Three movies of Varun Tej, in a span of one year, have been released. Varun Tej’s debut movie ‘Mukunda’ was showcased with decent performance of the hero. Varun Tej was praised for his all-round performance in his second film ‘Kanche’. And his latest offing ‘Loafer’ exploited mass angle of the star.
Varun Tej’s new movie will be directed by ‘Kanche’ director Krish again. This spy thriller has tentatively been titled as ‘Rayabari’. The movie will be shot extensively in various locations across the globe. More details of this project are awaited.
A US investor who is betting on North Korea
He searched for oil in the badlands of Somalia and fuelled a stock market boom in Mongolia. He sued the world’s smallest republic, far out in the Pacific, for a chunk of what it is worth. Now, he is betting on North Korea. James Passin, a hedge fund manager at Firebird Management, believes the nuclear-armed country sits on as much as 1 billion barrels of crude — enough to make it as big a producer as Oklahoma. If the oil exists, he wants to help unlock it. “You have a country with 25 million people — young, highly disciplined, literate — and a strong military-industrial complex,” he said in an interview. “It’s possible that the early investors will be rewarded with potential for massive appreciation.”
The risks of sinking cash — even just $7 million or so of Firebird’s $700 million in assets — into a neo-Stalinist state with labour camps and virtually no private property are obvious. The geopolitical volatility was on full display last week, as North Korea claimed that it had tested a hydrogen bomb. And Mr. Passin is treading on murky investment territory, given the U.S.’s sanctions against the country.
His investors have experienced the wild rides that come with such frontier markets. Two of his funds are being liquidated after deep losses, including on banking in Iraq, gold in Armenia and oil and gas in Kenya. But Mr. Passin isn’t deterred. “I see opportunities when other people are afraid,” he said.
Mr. Passin, 44, studied philosophy at St. John’s College in Maryland. He was inspired to enter finance, he said, in part by the story of Thales, a philosopher in ancient Greece who got rich by monopolising olive presses before a bumper harvest he had foreseen in the stars. After graduating, Mr. Passin began his career as an editor at Taipan, a financial newsletter in Baltimore, recommending obscure foreign stocks.
Peter Schiff, the chief of Euro Pacific Capital in Connecticut, met Mr. Passin in his newsletter days and later invested, on his advice, in Hurricane Hydrocarbons, an oil company in Kazakhstan, buying shares for as little as 25 cents apiece. Eventually, the company was sold at $55 a share, Mr. Schiff recalled. “I’ve bought some stocks from him that have gone to zero,” Mr. Schiff said. “But this was such a big winner.” Mr. Passin dismisses concerns that any oil exploitation would fortify Kim and others in the country’s ruling elite. He said business with North Korea would both benefit ordinary people and encourage the totalitarian state apparatus to become “more open and less harsh.”
