Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s much awaited film, Sardaar Gabbar Singh is now a hot cake in the trade. According to the film circles, the movie’s pre-release business would be up to 95 Crores. Looking at the prices being quoted by the makers and what distributors are ready to offer, The film could go for 30 Cr in Andhra, 20 Cr in Nizam, 10 Cr in Ceeded, 10 Cr in overseas and rest of India for 8 Crore, which is coming up to 78 Cr Pre-release business.

When we include the satellite rights, dubbing rights and audio rights, the figure will be around 95 Crores. However, it is only next to Baahubali and Srimanthudu. On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan has wrapped up the latest schedule of Sardaar yesterday, in Hyderabad and the team will soon be moving to Kerala for its next schedule. Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead and she is said to be playing a princess, who elopes from the palace and lives a normal life in the village and that’s where she happens to meet Sardaar. Sanjjana and Lakshmi Raai are the other female leads. Directed by Bobby, Sardaar Gabbar Singh is being bank rolled by Sharrath Marar of North star Entertainments and Eros International. Apparently, the team will start its next schedule in Kerala in two days, which will go on for a week and immediately they move to the sets in Hyderabad for a fresh schedule.The team has been shooting non stop and are aiming to release the film on 8 April. If everything goes well, Sardaar will have its audio launch on 13 April and Megastar Chiranjeevi might grace the event as the chief guest. Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Sarainodu North India rights were picked up for a whopping 60 Lakhs. This is the highest ever price for a Telugu film there. Bunny is popular face there due to his brand endorsement for Hero Motocorp’s new 125CC bike.

The recently released First Look Poster increased the expectations and hype on the film. As of now they are planning to release the movie on April 8th as Allu Arjun’s Birthday Special.

The film probably will be the first star release in Summer-2016. Sarainodu will have its audio launch on February 14th as Valentines day Special. Anjali will be seen in an item song of the film.

Young Tiger NTR’s Nannaku Prematho crossed the Two Million dollars gross at USA Box Office on Saturday. This is only the third Telugu film to be in the coveted club. Only Rajamouli’s Baahubali and Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu are the films in the club.

The movie would have performed even better there if the premieres would have screened as per plan or if not for the snow storm that affected several states in USA last weekend.

With this success, the asking rate of Janatha Garage has increased suddenly. On the other side, Jagapathi Babu who is in Dallas for the weekend, watched the film along with fans and movie lovers on Saturday.

Young hero Nithin has been running on rough patches. His last few films such as Heart Attack, Chinnadana Nee Kosam and Courier Boy Kalyan were flops. Nithin’s last production venture Akhil starring Akkineni Akhil was a commercial disaster, providing over Rs 20 crore losses to him.

Nithin’s latest venture ‘A.Aa..’ directed by Trivikram Srinivas is also delaying due to various reasons. Music director Anirudh walked out of the project and Mickey J Meyer has been roped in place of him. Now, Nithin keeps all hopes on Suriya starrer 24 for which he bought Telugu rights by fetching big price of Rs 20 crores.

On the flip side, Suriya is also not in best phase of career, but he always has decent trade value in Tamil as well as Telugu. If his films have sufficient entertainment, then they will do wonders here, irrespective of other factors. Likewise, Suriya’s 24 which is doing positive buzz is expected to release on April 14th.

The only problem for 24 is Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Allu Arjun’s Sarainodu are releasing in same month of April. If 24’s Telugu version will not get at least one to two weeks free time at box office, then it will be sandwiched between the Telugu biggies. Let’s wait and see whether the makers will dare to compete with Pawan, Bunny films or postpone it to a safe date.
