The verdict of three out of four Sankranthi movies is out already. Only movie that is still waiting for audiences response is Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana that is releasing today. Nagarjuna has been successful in generating huge buzz for this film. Soggade Chinni Nayana has been grabbing eyeballs ever since the first look was launched.

Expectations on this film have increased by the day and the decision day is finally here. Can Soggade Chinni Nayana live up to the expectations? There is no clear winner among the Sankranthi releases till now. Nannaku Prematho has impressed classes and youth but is not lapped up by masses. Dictator is a routine mass template that could be floating until the festive weekend.

Express Raja is a fine comedy with variety treatment. This too is not receiving unanimous hit talk from all corners. So the true potential of this film will be tested in its full run. With no clear winner until now, Nagarjuna has a great chance to take away the Pongal crown. Buzz around this film is so huge that the advance bookings are in full swing.

With so much hype around the movie, distributors are planning midnight shows and benefit shows in big numbers. All Soggadu needs is decent talk to be the Pongal King.

With steady collections even in week 2, ‘Nenu Sailaja’ has established itself as a blockbuster. The timing of the movie’s release has been perfect with no substantial competition in the first two weeks of its release.

RGV’s ‘Killing Veerapan’ is playing in a select few screens across the two states and although, this is one of RGV’s better films in recent times, the overall response has been rather lukewarm. ‘Nannaku Prematho’, the most awaited film this ‘Sankranthi’ has opened to a superb response but the movie has received mixed reactions from the public.

Along the lines of Mahesh Babu’s ‘Nenokkadine’, the movie may turn out to be a super hit overseas. The actual verdict of ‘Dictator’, Express Raja’ and ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ will be known next week.

If we -true-translate Balupu in English, its arrogance. The popular Telugu movie of Raviteja, Balupu directed by Gopichand Malineni which released in 2013 is all set to be released in Tamil as Evanda.

The star cast included Ravi Teja, Shruti Hassan and Anjali in lead and Raai Laxmi, Prakash Raj, Nasser and Jaiprakash in supporting roles. The music was composed by SS Thaman and was cinematographed by Vincent.

On Saturday, former Miss World from Hyderabad Diana Hayden gave birth to a baby girl named Arya Hayden born out of her eggs which were frozen 8 years ago. Apparently, Diana, now a 42-year-old, was only 32 when she decided to freeze her eggs after reading about it in 2006. Diana froze 16 eggs between October 2007 and March 2008.

Diana married American national Collin Dick in 2013. Diana was later diagnosed with Endometriosis, a medical condition that makes it difficult for women to produce quality eggs. It was then Diana and Collin decided to attempt a test-tube baby and thaw Diana’s frozen eggs.

This relatively new method of conceiving babies proves that egg freezing is a successful method and relieves a lot of  mothers who could be apprehensive that that are running out of time to be a mother as they can have their babies only when they think they are ready to go the family way.

However, this relatively new method of delivering babies is still a controversial matter as egg freezing and thawing could damage eggs and reduce a woman’s chance of becoming a mother.

Prominent Briton actor Alan Rickman died in London on Thursday. Rickmen, who was well known as professor Snape of Harry Potter, was suffering from cancer. The demise of the actor, who was 69, was confirmed by his family members.

With an experience of over 30 years, Rickman was the most admired British actor.

Besides Harry Potter, Rickman acted in Love Actually, Sense and Sensibility, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

Rickman won Emmy, Bafta, Golden Globe and many more awards for his outstanding performance. He never won an Oscar and that became talking point. However, it did not affect Rickman, according to him, ‘Parts win prizes, not actors.’

The second teaser of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s summer entertainer, Sardaar Gabbar Singh has been released this afternoon as a Sankranthi gift for fans. The trailer, although looks similar to the first one, still manages to pack a power punch as it showcased Pawan at his massy best, walking in slow-mo in a lungi.

But now, a huge suspicious difference between the number of views and likes the teaser received on its official YouTube channel is spoiling the euphoria to a large extent. Until a while ago, the teaser clocked more than 18k views. But the number of likes is a shocking 23k. This left many wondering if it was even possible to get nearly 4k more likes than the views.

While anti fans have been ridiculing Pawan’s fans enthusiasm in registering fake likes, many are also wondering if it’s a technical blot YouTube has been stuck into due to heavy traffic. Whatever it may be, Tollywood stars’ fans have of late been giving a really hard time to YouTube with their crazy fandom.

In the past too, YouTube witnessed some similarly unbelievable statistics for the trailers of Baahubali and Nannaku Prematho.

Sardaar GabbarSingh has been conceived and created by Pawan Kalyan himself. Pawan Kalyan who is always known for his story sense and basic understanding of drama decided to put together his thoughts and imagination to create a standalone episode of the Sardaar. In this story the Sardaar is posted to Rattanpur and is expected to clean up the town of all undesirable elements.

Pawan Kalyan over the past two years painstakingly built each and every element in this film and got on to the drawing board to give shape to the town of Rattanpur and its basic layout. He then worked on each character in the film including the Villain, the Heroine and other key characters. The look and feel, the color and tone of the film was then freezed.

With all the ground work in place the team went ahead to create the town of Rattanpur and a very authentic set has been erected in Hyderabad where the shooting is presently in fast progress.
