Till now Shruti Hasan is enjoying the limelight with glamour show in South and North Indian cinema. At some point or the other, an artist would vie for performance based characterization and she seems to have got such chance with ‘Majnu’ starring Naga Chaitanya and is actually a remake of Malayalam hit ‘Premam.’

Under the direction of Chandoo Mondeti, the film is pacing with crucial schedules involving the key star cast. India’s biggest motion picture Baahubali wowed millions of film lovers in India and abroad. The film’s monstrous box-office success and its achievement in placing Tollywood on global map with its technical excellence is a matter of pride to every Telugu film lover.

But here’s one actress whose detest for Baahubali has surprised everyone. Today, yesteryear Telugu heroine Jamuna stated that she stopped watching Telugu films since several years ago and that she recently watched Baahubali. “I watched Baahubali, it’s a stupid film,” said the senior heroine.

Jamuna further said that Baahubali’s only achievement is it’s technical values and nothing else and continued her criticism saying, “except its hero, Baahubali had a very poor casting. Anushka should have been made the heroine.”

The actress was in no mood to be nice to the present days’ films either. “Films these days are only about how many villains the heroes beat up to pulp and how well the heroines exposed on the screen,” fired the senior actress.

Veteran actress Jamuna never minces words to express her true feelings about anyone or any matter. She is known for strong will as she fought against male chauvinism in the Telugu movie industry back in the 1960’s. Jamuna is back in the news as she expressed her dislike about the record-breaking Baahubali movie so openly.

“These days, I am watching moves occasionally. On the insistence of my grandson, I recently happened to watch Rajamouli’s Baahubali. I was told it was appreciated by all and collected huge money worldwide but I found it as a very stupid movie,” she told the media in Rajamundry.

In her opinion, Baahubali is an hollow movie except that it was made with high technical standards. Jamuna also added that the casting of the movie is not perfect. “Except the hero of the movie, the casting didn’t seem to me right. Tamannah’s role should have been given to Anushka,” Jamuna pointed out.

Superstar Rajinikanth is biggest fans following actor in Tamil Nadu, with highest industry hits to his credit. Several top grade political leaders are inviting him to join their party. There is a scene in Balakrishna’s film Palnati Brahmanaidu where a running train goes back when Balakrishna slaps his thigh and points his finger at it. That scene is one of the awful scenes in the history of Telugu cinema and is also one of the most trolled scenes on YouTube.

We have seen many idiotic scenes in our films such as Balakrishna flying to Pakistan in a parachute and Chiranjeevi sliding along with his horse under a lorry. But none could compete with the ‘epicness’ of the train scene in PBN. Even Balakrishna is not happy about doing that scene.

“I was in the mood of that character. I was so involved in it that I didn’t find anything silly about it. Sometimes writers come up with doltish ideas and we don’t find any wrong in it,” Balakrishna said. Many of his family members and kids mentioned about that scene and told how silly it was. Balakrishna too feels embarrassed of it, but he couldn’t do anything about it now.

He is taking care on not repeating such mistakes again. There was a time when most of his movies had such scenes but his recent films are not showcasing such silliness.
