The story revolves around a big shot Indian origin Kuwaiti businessman turns into a good Samaritan, though he exactly need not become. Akshay Kumar played the role of Ranjit Katiyal, who had plans of flying to London when Iraqi soldiers started attacking Kuwaiti people in 1990.

Ranjit turns the savior after watching the tragedy of many innocent Indians ruthlessly killed by merciless soldiers, not because he is a great human, but he unlikely takes it up, to save 1,70,000 other Indian refugees left on their won.

Its all about how a businessman gets stubborn to save all of them and finally makes it with 488 flights in 59 days. Emotions played the big role and touching scenes raise the bar to connect them to audience.

The songs were not at all necessary and Nimrat Kaur, who played Ranjit’s wife character was too artificial. Akshay Kumar lived in the role and carried it to the best by sticking to reality in many scenes. Altogether, the film is a must-watch for its true story that keeps us connected to the real emotions.

Mumbai: Director Ali Abbas Zafar has “welcomed” lead actress Anushka Sharma for his upcoming film “Sultan”. Zafar also mentioned that the crew has “wrapped up” the first day of shoot with the “PK” actress. “Just wrapped first day of shoot with @AnushkaSharma. Team @SultanTheMovie welcomes you on board,” Zafar tweeted on Friday morning.

The “NH10” actress was announced as the lead actress of the superstar Salman Khan starrer earlier this month. An “excited” Anushka too tweeted: “New beginnings … New journey… Heading for the first day of #Sultan shoot. Excited! Here we go.”

One of the fittest stars of Bollywood, 50-year-old Salman has gone through intensive training for wrestling and mixed martial arts for Zafar’s directorial with international action director Larnell Stovall. Produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Films banner, “Sultan” is slated to hit the screens on Eid in 2016.

Deepika Padukone has all these, but she says they haven’t changed the “normal girl” in her because she chooses to live a life free of complications. “I’m just a normal girl… nothing has changed for me. I can still go out freely. I believe your life changes in a way that you want it to be. I don’t think my life has changed in a drastic way,” Deepika told IANS in an interview here.

“Yes, there are some things that come with the profession, but the basics are more important. I like to believe that certain things haven’t changed. “I don’t miss anything about my past. I choose to keep doing things that are meaningful and special to me. I choose to live a life that is not complicated. Sometimes we unnecessarily complicate our own lives, but I choose not to live like that,” she added. Her simplicity, she said, comes from her father, celebrated badminton player Prakash Padukone.

Malayalam actress Madonna Sebastian is all set to debut in Tollywood. The producers of remake of “Premam” have already roped in top actress Shruti Haasan and Malayalam actress Anupama.

For the third heroine’s role, they have considered several other heroines but finally they have chosen Madonna Sebastian who played the same role in the original movie in Malaylam.

Naga Chaitanya who is playing the role of a Majnu in the movie will be seen having love affair with these three heroines – Shruti Haasan, a young professor, Anupama, a student and Madonna. The film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and is currently being filmed in Vizag.

Except “Manam”, none of Naga Chaitanya’s recent movies worked at box-office. Hence Naga Chaitanya is working hard for this film and make it a big hit.

Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas’ ‘Speedunnodu’ audio launch was held grandeur at Shilpakala Vedika of Hyderabad yesterday. ‘Speedunnodu’ has been directed by Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao. The movie was produced by Bheemaneni Sunitha. Vasanth has composed the tunes. Sonarika has romanced with Sai Srinivas in the movie. The movie is hitting the screens in the month of Feburary.

Ever since the launch of ‘Janatha Garage’, the movie has been carrying great buzz among the movie goers and the buyers are reportedly approaching the makers with fancy offers. According to the inside reports, ‘Janatha Garage’ has been sold out to Rs.9 crores in Ceded area to Pakala Murali. This is the highest ever pre release business for Young Tiger NTR’s films.
