Anyone who got to catch the screening of ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’ would be able to realize the striking similarity between this Hollywood biopic of a renowned Stock Broker & the Pongal release ‘Nannaku Prematho’.

In the biographical, Leonardo DiCaprio receives the first lesson about ‘Self-Profit’ from his boss after getting hired as a Stock Broker in Wall Street. This is what exactly the drug-addict boss says ‘Move the Money from Client’s Pocket into Your Pocket’ after punching his chest with his fist repeatedly.

In the end, Leonardo gets inspired by it & owns it literally. The thing is, Same Mannerism was used by NTR throughout the course of ‘Nannaku Prematho’. Particularly, It gets highlighted in the scene where Tarak delivers a speech to a bunch of people in the organization.

Well, The only difference between both the films would be the ‘clap’ that follows after the fist act in NTR starrer. ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’ is based on the rise and fall of Wall Street’s richest stock broker Jordan Belfort.

Producers showing their empty hand to their actors and technicians is nothing new. However, when a leading star like Pawan Kalyan came out in the open to complain against his producer of nonpayment of his 2 crore balance remuneration, it becomes news.

Looks like yet another similar case is in the rising in Bollywood. As per the latest reports by Bollywood tabloids, macho Bollywood star Salman Khan is furious on his Bajrangi Bhaijaan producer Rockline Venkatesh for still failing to clear a staggering 35 crore balance remuneration.

Apparently, Salman’s team has been trying to reach out to Venkatesh since a long time but the producer has been evading them. Incidentally, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is India’s 2nd highest grossing film with 620 plus crore collections at the worldwide box-office.

NTR’s Nannaku Prematho released today amidst huge expectations and craze. Fans are in wait for a stellar box office performance from NTR and they expected Nannaku Prematho could be it. With some much unprecedented craze, Nannaku Prematho tickets were sold within no time.

But fans at a theater in Vijayawada created ruckus by throwing stones. Famous Raj-Yuvaraj theater is the center for it and fans were reportedly dissapointed that they couldn’t get morning show tickets and said that theater management is selling tickets in ‘black’.

With this, NTR fans threw stones at the theater which broke down glass windows. Police reacted immediately and brought situation to normalcy.

Finally, the makers of ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ are fulfilling the wish of mega fans. Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s much anticipated mega entertainer ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’s teaser is being released tomorrow which happens to be the auspicious day of Bhogi. It remains to be seen how Rattanpur kaa Sardaar mesmerizes the audiences.

‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ is currently on sets. Kajal Aggarwal dons lady lead of the movie. Rai Lakshmi will be seen in a key role of this action and comedy entertainer. The movie is being directed by KS Ravindra (Bobby).

Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music of this film. Sharat Marar is producing the movie on North Star Entertainment in association with Pawan Kalyan Creative Works and Eros. The movie is slated for release in the month of April.

The makers of Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh have released a poster of their film last night with a caption ‘Rattanpur Ka Sardaar Aagaya’. The euphoria picked up with that and they will be releasing two more posters, one today and tomorrow.

They will be following these three posters with a Sankranthi Special Teaser of the movie. On the other side, Allu Arjun is also planning the release of his First Look Teaser of Sarainodu tomorrow. So its going to be Mega Sankranthi and Mega fans are very excited.

Balayya Babu always talks of his father. No wonder, his father NTR, the great, is a great influence on him. NTR used to begin his day with smoking a local made chutta (cigar). Even Balayya Babu begins his day with a Chutta. Like his father, he too gets up at 3.30 AM and smokes a cigar. Why cigar? And why not cigarette? Balakrishna has an interesting explanation for this.

He says smoking a cigar before sunrise can make the voice sound deep and gives good base to it. He also says that cigarette is dangerous and not cigar. He says early rise and cigar smoking were the two things that he picked up from his father. Balayya Babu these days can’t stop talking about his grandson. He feels his grandson should first become a good actor before becoming a politico.

During the promotional interviews for Dictator,he also revealed that his daughter Brahmani had got several film offers, but she was never interested. But, when will his son Mokshagna make a filmi debut? Ask Balayya and pat comes the reply. “We will think of it after I complete my 100th film.” Incidentally, Dictator is Balayya Babu’s 99th film.

“After ‘Srimanthudu, the kinds of roles I have been getting are all the same. A rich father role! So when Sukumar and NTR approached me for ‘Nannaku Prematho’ I agreed to do the film without even listening to the script because of their stature and talent.

Later when I reported for the shooting, I was disappointed. It was yet another ‘suit-boot rich father role. But having seen the final output of ‘Nannaku Prematho’ I am very much satisfied and glad to have been a part of this project,” said actor Jagapathi Babu.

When his career was at an all-time low, he got a new lease of life with the villain character in ‘Legend’. So, at this point, maybe Jagapathi should just focus on doing whatever comes his way instead of worrying about the creative aspect.

Despite his recent film Loafer failed to set box-office on fire, Varun Tej is in demand as filmmakers are trying for his call sheets. The actor won good name for his performance in Kanche and since then he has been flooded with many offers.

Interestingly, Varun Tej will be doing three movies this year and all of them would be beginning their shoots in couple of months. Director Krish who portrayed him as a soldier of Indian Army that participated in World War II in Kanche is planning to project him as a spy in his next film titled “Raayabari”. The film is expected to go to the sets next month.

Director Gopichand Malineni of Pandaga Chesuko has already signed him for his next film which is also expected to go on sets shortly. Rakul Preet Singh will play the female lead in the film.

Just recently Varun Tej signed a movie for top producer Dil Raju. The movie will be directed by a newcomer and it will start rolling from June this year. All in all, Varun is on a roll with three movies this year.

With four big movies releasing this ‘Sankranthi’ film lovers are a delighted lot. And they have reason to celebrate in the month of February too as four more movies are lined up for release. They are Sunil’s ‘Krishnashtami’, Bellamkonda Sai’s ‘Speedunnodu’ which is a remake of a Tamil movie and Nani’s ‘Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Katha’.

Looking at the competition, Krishnashtami which was originally scheduled for a Sankranthi release opted out of the race. ‘Speedunnodu’ is another attempt to establish Bellamkonda Sai as a hero whereas Nani will be taking another step towards super stardom with ‘Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Katha’.

And the week after these movies will release the much awaited Nithiin-Trivikram’s ‘Aa Aaa’. After disappointing with ‘S/o Satyamurthy, fans are hopeful of the magic touch of Trivikram resurfacing with ‘Aa Aaa’.

Actress Shruti Haasan will play actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan’s daughter in a yet-untitled Tamil project, expected to hit the floors very soon. This is the first time the father-daughter duo are teaming up. “Contrary to the rumours, Kamal and his daughter are not coming together for upcoming Tamil comedy ‘Appa Amma Vilayattu’. This is a different project altogether and it will feature Shruti as Kamal’s daughter,” a source close to Haasan told IANS.

The film will be directed by veteran Malayalam filmmaker T.K Rajeev Kumar. “Since Kamal was already in talks with Rajeev for ‘Appa Ammaa’, he brought him on board to direct this film, which will feature his script. Kamal has been working on this script for a long time.

“The rest of the lead cast will be finalized in a couple of weeks ,” the source said, adding the team plans to go on the floors by this month end Haasan is in talks with maestro Ilayaraja to compose the music for the film. “In about a week’s time, both Ilayaraja and Shruti will officially be part of the project,” the source added. The film will be shot in the US, where Haasan is currently finalising the locations.
