Rajamouli To Keep Away From Film Functions
Before the release of Baahubali, Rajamouli used to appear in almost all the movie functions and audio release events of big stars as guest. He continued the same after the release of Baahubali for some time but later stopped attending. He didn’t attend the audio function of his close friend NTR’s Nannaku Prematho. The main reason is that his close associates and family members advised him to cut down these activities as his speeches at these events have become butt of jokes on the social media.
Known to be good-natured person, Rajamouli always encourages others by praising to the hilt. This has become a joke in the social media that he is trying to impress all stars and satisfy the egos of fans of the stars. Now he has decided to restrict the attendance at these filmy functions. He may attend or promote some films but those will be very few unlike in the past.
Not just that he has also started tweeting less. Earlier, he used to tweet about all the new releases but now he has cut down these tweets.Clearly he is very much focused on the shooting of Baahubali 2 which is progressing in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.
But he is regularly attending the events and guest lectures at various film institutes and educational institutes in other cities in India as he was recently spotted at IIT Madras giving lecture about filmmaking.

Senior distributor Dil Raju bagged the Nizam Rights of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Dictator. The price of this deal is not revealed but they say Dil Raju shelled out a fancy amount to bag the rights. Dil Raju earlier sealed the deal but back out in the last minute due to some issues. Eros International was to release the movie on their own.
But Dil Raju is back again bagging the Nizam rights of the film. Dictator is being planned for Sankranthi-2016 release. The shooting is currently in its last leg. Post production works are also happening simultaneously. The makers are targeting January 14th release.

Not Even One Scored Instant Winner
Here comes the sound albums of three big films and most music lovers are disappointed at the first instance. Because none of them have some instant winners on the charts, only for one song which happens to be the ‘teaser’ of the album.
Nannaku Prematho, Dictator and Soggade Chinni Nayana had their audio unveiled already. Hard luck with these films for music lovers, as the albums of these films scored by Devi Sri Prasad, Thaman and Anup Rubens are not impressive at the first go.
One has to listen to the albums for as many times as possible to like the songs. I wanna follow follow from Nannaku Prematho and Soggade Chinni Nayana title song from this film are instant winners, while Balayya’s beach song in Dictator is catching the attention. But what about total albums?
Only after the films release on Sankranthi eve, we will know which album will click most. For now, not even on scored an instant winner.
Dictator Gets Positive Buzz
While the virtual rivalry between Nandamuri heroes Balakrishna and Jr NTR is triggering new debates in Telugu film and political circles, one enthusiastic section from cinema critics group is worried on how good Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan would come back into form if their template of ‘Dictator’ works wonders at Box Office. In fact, the entry of Dil Raju into scene and taking up ‘Dictator’ Nizam area distribution rights is the latest move creating sensations in film circles.
Off late, Kona and Gopi struggled a lot with back to back disasters as critics and industry has unanimously raised the voice to declare the end of Kona time. Either he has to change the template or take voluntary retirement is the common verdict passed which might be subjective to individual interpretations.
Now, there is a positive buzz coming for ‘Dictator’ needs to be viewed in a new angle. Whether this is happening due to presence of Balakrishna as hero and this is his 99th film or is this a deliberate plan by director Sriwass and EROS to secure good openings? Above all, what would be the position of Tollywood if really Kona and Gopi sparkle up Box Office with ‘Dictator?’
Jr NTR, Taking A New Nandamuri Identity
Junior NTR and Kalyan Ram are spreading like a new wing in Nandamuri tree unsupported and unattached with other branches. Politically created gap between Nandamuri Balakrishna and his elder brother Harikrishna is the chief reason behind these differences but how far Tarak and Kalyan Ram can take on highly powerful Balayya who has a perfect back up from ruling TDP and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is a doubtful question.
The ongoing events like ‘Nannaku Prematho’ audio function has sent a clear message on NTR, NKR are trying to remain separated from other family members. Speeches from Harikrishna, NKR have strongly projected their individual identity rather than maintaining any association with Balayya Babu. In fact, ‘Dictator’ Vs ‘Nannaku Prematho’ is going to be a virtual battle between Nandamuri family members?
Amidst all these growing controversies, Nandamuri Fans mainly from Krishna district are known to have divided into two groups with one supporting Balakrishna and TDP while the other is behind Jr NTR. As the time is nearing for ‘Dictator’ and ‘Nannaku Prematho,’ the verbal wars between two groups are taking new colors.
Niharika’s Funny Jabardasth Imitation
Young Mega heroine Niharika Konidela has been a highly successful TV presenter. Especially, Niharika’s claim to fame ‘Dhee Juniors’ was a huge hit in the TV world and this popularity in turn made the young starlet into a feature film heroine.
On the other hand, Niharika’s father and senior actor Nagababu too co-hosts the super hit comedy show Jabardasth, apart from acting in movies. This New Year’s Eve, Mega fans and the TV audiences who love Jabardasth and Dhee Juniors will witness a hilarious spoof show of Niharika imitating her father Nagababu as the Jabardasth host.
The promo video has already been getting a huge positive response for Niharika’s comic interpretation of her father. Even more endearing moment is when Nagababu, who is also present in the show, was seen laughing his heart out while enjoying his doting daughter spoofing him.
Niharika is currently shooting for her silver screen debut, Okka Manasu, with Mega family’s support.
Balayya Is ‘Bala Sir’ For These Young Actresses
Nandamuri Balakrishna, the very name resonates with ferociousness and angry man image onscreen and often even off the screen. Balayya, even though has a heart of a child, can really become a tough taskmaster if things around him go wrong.
This makes those around Balayya to become extra cautious while dealing with him. However, most of the young beauties who are acting along with Balayya in his films are least afraid of him. Recently, actresses like Sonal Chauhan and Shraddha Das revealed that even though they were scared to interact with Balayya initially, they became good friends within a few days, thanks to Balayya’s friendly and easygoing nature without any starry tantrums.
Not stopping here, these actresses, who are much younger than Balayya, are addressing him as ‘Bala Sir’. Even Balayya’s Dictator’s heroine Anjali is seen chilling out with Balayya in several public events. Earlier, those who are close to Balayya used to address him fondly as Balayya Babu and some as Balayya Sir.
It is a welcoming change in Balayya, who, at the age of 55, is turning young by mingling freely with the younger generation. This not only helps in creating a pleasant environment around Balayya but the Nandamuri hero will also win more hearts with his humility.
Salute Scene Vs Nannaku Prematho Scene
Young Tiger Jr NTR himself has raised bar about “Nannaku Prematho” by revealing about few scenes. While he is a proven actor as his emotional scenes in certain films like Raakhi and Temper stood up at a new pinnacle, a particular scene in this January release is getting more attention now.
Especially when Jr NTR revealed that while filming a scene cinematographer Vijay K Chaktravarty had broken into tears, fans got connected to that emotional scene which Kalyan Ram also spoke minutes earlier at audio launch. And now, comparisons are happening between between Temper’s iconic ‘Salute’ scene with this ‘Teary’ scene.
In that Puri Jagan’s creation, Junior has less dialogues compared to Posani, but still his emoting makes us spellbound. So, how is this Nannaku Prematho scene going to be then? Will it be heart grinding or hair rising? Will it make us whistle, shout or clap? And the expectation game continues.
With other terrific actors like Rajendra Prasad and Jagapathi Babu in the game, it looks like this scene of Nannaku Prematho is going to be a peak. Let’s see.
