Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam is being planned for April 29th, 2016 release. With the recent concluded Ooty schedule, the makers have managed to complete half of the movie shoot. The next schedule of the movie will begin in Hyderabad on January 5th after Mahesh who is on a holiday to Switzerland is back.

Samantha will join the movie shoot for the first time in this schedule. Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha are the other heroines. Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu fame Srikanth Addala is wielding megaphone for the film which has music by Mickey J Meyer. Potluri Vara Prasad is producing the film on his PVP Cinemas banner.

This New Year, paw prints for President Pranab

President Pranab Mukherjee’s New Year greetings from America’s first family has a cheerful addition in the form of paw prints of their two pets, who famously carry the family surname
“With gratitude and cheer, we send our warmest wishes for health and happiness this holiday season,” the message from the Obamas said.

The greeting card contains signatures of President Obama, his wife Michelle and their two daughters Malia and Sasha. It also has the impression of the paws of ‘Bo’ and ‘Sunny’, two Portuguese Water Dogs which have been part of the First Family since 2009 and 2013 respectively.

The Obamas have included their pets in the new year greeting cards for the last four years now. In 2012 card, it featured a solo ‘Bo’ wearing a scarf trekking through the snow-covered White House lawn during a blizzard. In 2011, the Obamas kept with the theme of not including any family members and opted for an image of Bo sleeping in front of a fireplace instead.

In 2013, the two furry friends were depicted walking in front of the White House, which was shown as a 3-D pop-up image inside the card. Last year, the two pets were featured in the drawing room of the White House.

The way Junior NTR’s new movie ‘Nannaku Prematho’ theatrical trailer is cut gives enough coincidental stuff with the films like Pawan Kalyan ‘Aththarintiki Daaredi’ and Allu Arjun ‘S/O Sathya Murthy.’ In fact, it was Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas initiated to do the magic dealing on forgotten stuff of bringing emotional family drama building the network between Aththa-Alludu and then Trivikram repeating it again on Bunny with Nanna-Koduku bonding.

While Pawan Kalyan as Menalludu is on a mission to fulfill his grandfather’s last wish of re-uniting Menaththa with the family, Bunny does a similar act following the principles laid down by his Samaritan father. Now, the characterization in Rajendra Prasad-Junior NTR as father-son shown in the trailer easily resembled that of a familiar template created by Trivikram Srinivas for above said two films. Of course, our hero NTR might be on a new mission but the backdrop looked pretty similar.

Whatever, there is a lavish setting for entire story to unveil and difference is, if Trivikram deals the narration with more of fun and less of logical interpretations, preachy stuff… Sukku might have struck to opposite path. Let us see, how ‘Nannaku Prematho’ teaches the moral and family values for audience?

A channel’s head conducts an interrogation kind of interview on every Sunday with the celebrities under the name of ‘Open Heart’. Meanwhile, the channel is highly biased towards the TDP and it has been rated as the number one biased channel of India by the analysts.

With his dismay, the channel’s head invited YCP’s MLA and actress Roja for ‘Open Heart’ program last Sunday. As usually, he tried to trouble the interviewee with his twisted and typical questions. However, Roja’s straight comment on the channel’s head shocked him. Reportedly, Roja said, ” You are speaking such a way as if you were TDP’s spokesperson.”.With this shocker the channel’s head could not give proper retort to Roja.

Meanwhile, as the TDP decided to act as a ‘Tail Party’ (thoka party) to the TRS party in Telangana, the ban on the channel was lifted by the TRS government recently and the channel is also suddenly exhibiting soft corner towards the TRS.

Heavy rush for Sankranthi season seems to have not allowed hero Nani’s new film to get released in the festive season. Yet again, Nani chose a safe mode for the safe release of his film. Reports are that Nani’s new film will be releasing on February 5.

The first look and the title of the movie will be released on the new year’s day, January 1 while the audio launch is being planned on January 10. Earlier, the movie’s title was considered as ‘Jai Balayya’. However, the makers might have thought the movie will not reach for all sections such that they decided to change the title of the movie.

Meanwhile, Nani will be seen as a die hard fans of Balakrishna in this romantic entertainer. Hanu Raghavapudi of ‘Andala Rakshasi’ fame is directing the movie. 14 Reels Entertainment is the production house. Nani is at cloud nine with the blockbuster result of ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’ recently.

Makers of Superstar Rajnikanth’s latest movies are thinking very big for his films. Already director Shankar has finalised Bollywood star Akshay Kumar as antagonist for Superstar’s Robo 2.0. Before this packaging, Hollywood names like Arnold Schwarzenegger are associated with this movie. Same is the case with another movie of our Superstar.

Already Rajni’s latest movie ‘Kabali’ has some completed most of the shooting part, with a large schedule finished in Malaysia and another schedule getting completed in Goa. Latest update we hear is that Superstar’s makers have approached Chinese superstar Jet Li for the key role, while other Chinese stars like Simon Yam (Tomb Raider fame) and Chow Yun Fat (Pirates of Caribbean 3) are also being spoke to. One of these is going to play a powerful villain in Kabali and they will be fighting with Rajnikanth in couple of high octane action sequences.

Mohanlal learns Telugu for NTR

Malayalam Superstar Mohan Lal will be playing an important role in their film. This will bring Mohan Lal to Telugu Cinema after a long time. The Superstar known to be a perfectionist is learning Telugu to get his lines right.

The makers are considering Janatha Garage (with a tagline – Ikkada Anni Repairlu Cheyyabadunu) as the title of the film even though they did not announce it officially. They are planning to release the movie on August 12th, 2016.

The release date working in the movie’s favour as there is a long weekend holiday due to Independence day holiday on Monday. Mytri Film Makers who turned producers with Srimanthudu will be producing this film as well.

Yerineni Naveen, Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar (Thammudu) and CVM (Mohan) are the producers. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music as Koratala’s previous films – Mirchi and Srimanthudu.

‘Nenu Sailaja’s Censor Completed

Energetic Star Ram’s ‘Nenu Sailaja’ got its censor formalities completed today and received clean ‘U’ certificate the from members of the board. This certificate indicates the movie has been made as a clean romantic entertainer.

Instead picking out a regular commercial and action drama, Ram has tried for a complete romantic entertainer this time. Interesting love track is spotted in the theatrical trailer of the movie. Keerthi Suresh has played the role of a lead actress of the movie.

Kishore Tirumala has wielded the megaphone of the movie. Devi Sri Prasad has provided the music of the film. The movie has been produced by Sravanthi Ravikishore on Sravanthi Movies.

None of the recent ventures have scored super hits at the box office except ‘Pandaga Chesko’ which got an above average result. ‘Nenu Sailaja’ is something like a litmus test for Ram at this juncture. The moie is hitting the cinemas on January 1.

Sankranthi Films Have Positives and Negatives

Having watched the audio launch events, theatrical trailers and teasers of all the three big films to be releasing for Sankranthi, it is understood that war is not one sided. Every movie has its pros and cons in it and the production teams of respective movies have pinned all of their hopes winning the hearts of audiences.

Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Dictator’ is the only mass entertainer releasing for Sankranthi. The songs and the trailers haven’t impressed the netigens much but it cannot be denied that a maximum section of audience are fond of watching commercial potboilers. No guesses whether ‘Dictator’ tops or flops. Positive buzz, all of a sudden, encircled on ‘Naannaku Prematho’ ever since the audio got released on Sunday.Rave reviews were received by the team for the classy edit of the theatrical trailer of the movie. Even then, it remains to be seen how well the mass audiences and die hard fans of Young Tiger NTR from B and C centers will receive the movie.

‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’s audio function, brought the laurels among King Nagarjuna’s fans. Nagarjuna’s comedy as ‘Bangarraju’ appears to be the saving grace for the movie among Sankranthi films. It is also learnt that the movie gets top rated theaters for its release. However, Nagarjuna’s movies haven’t got a wider reach for the past couple of years such that no record breaking collections are recorded for his movies. Let’s not hope, the same factor will be repeated for his next release.

All in all, every movie appears to have its strengths and weaknesses. In this scenario, war cannot be expected from one side. All movies have good chances to score big at the box office.
